Speaker 11: So that's gonna be cool.
Speaker 12: So a couple couple big world radio premieres for you,

Speaker 12: And then in the third hour we have the rightful airs.
Speaker 12: So we have a very busy and exciting show for
Speaker 12: you today. So, yeah, my voice has been If you
Speaker 12: heard last night's I don't know how obvious it was,
Speaker 12: Jenny or how much you were able to hear, but
Speaker 12: last night on retrospect and radio, my voice got quite
Speaker 12: quite crackly, So I might be I don't know, might
Speaker 12: I think I was. I think I'm going through puberty again.
Speaker 12: I'm becoming a man all over again. Oh boy, so
Speaker 12: very exciting. Yeah, actually, this is probably the best my
Speaker 12: voice has been in days. Yeah, now that I'm thinking
Speaker 12: about it. So yeah, so we'll get through it. But
Speaker 12: I think what we should do right now, without further ado,
Speaker 12: we should get to our second world radio premiere of
Speaker 12: the day again. We've got this is the brand new single.
Speaker 12: This comes out February twentieth. But you can't hear it
Speaker 12: anywhere else right now, And as I mentioned, we're going
Speaker 12: to be talking to him.

Speaker 9: Body is shaken from a fee again.
Speaker 1: Low for bloody, for like boring.
Speaker 15: If it's not fire, it's a urcaan.
Speaker 9: I'll call your mot and take the kids again.
Speaker 13: Now I'm the liar, I'm the wan to blaze.
Speaker 4: Fairly breathe, and.
Speaker 9: I'm a tiant candlin.
Speaker 13: It's not far to hurricane.
Speaker 9: I stand.
Speaker 7: Los, I'm drowning the wide gray shirt squeam.
Speaker 15: Here it comes again, a road, some words driving home
Speaker 15: and again.
Speaker 9: Beautiful pages. That one nail was scent. I hide the bruise,
Speaker 9: but the.
Speaker 7: Lead and spoke your lad.
Speaker 13: You mana to look a sad eye.
Speaker 9: The hand of fury. Pair has no shame, no love.
Speaker 2: For those on the received.
Speaker 9: Upponing rage yet no love, Cati.
Speaker 13: If it's not far to.
Speaker 7: Take my lie rail charting from bled to Lido.
Speaker 9: S walk feel MASSI even comes again, your only.
Speaker 15: Barns in the picture frame, falling tears scattered by.
Speaker 13: That's not fun.
Speaker 12: It's what a great song that is Hurricane by the
Speaker 12: Deep Hour, And we have joining us via WhatsApp the
Speaker 12: man behind the Deep Hour, Brian o'glanby.
Speaker 11: Let's see if we got him here, Brian, are you there,
Speaker 11: I'm here?
Speaker 13: Yeah, can you hear me? Okay?
Speaker 11: Absolutely? You sound great And yeah, I love that song.
Speaker 11: That's really incredible.
Speaker 13: Great, thank you very much. Yeah, that's a real heartfelt song,
Speaker 13: a real belder of a tune we think anyway, So yeah,
Speaker 13: I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for having
Speaker 13: me on the show. Oh.
Speaker 12: Absolutely, no, I'm excited to talk to you the track officially,
Speaker 12: it's out on the twentieth, correct February twentieth.
Speaker 13: Yeah, the twenty the February is the launch day for
Speaker 13: the song. For the track itself worldwide, okay, every download
Speaker 13: and every streaming platform available, So okay, excited about the
Speaker 13: whole concept, you know, Yeah.
Speaker 11: I want to know more about the song itself.
Speaker 12: You know, it's got kind of almost like a cinematic
Speaker 12: vibe to it, really, the way it kind of builds,
Speaker 12: and you know, I'd like to know more about more
Speaker 12: about what it means. It's you know, I mean, one
Speaker 12: of the wonderful things about music and lyrics is, you know,
Speaker 12: everything can kind of mean something different to each person
Speaker 12: who who hears it and may take something different from it.
Speaker 12: But I kind of get the impression that this is
Speaker 12: there's something deeper here that might not be a parent
Speaker 12: or obvious to someone who's just trying to interpret the
Speaker 12: lyrics on a surface level. So I was wondering if
Speaker 12: you could share more about what the lyrics of the
Speaker 12: track mean or or if it's talking about some some
Speaker 12: sort of specific experience.
Speaker 13: Well, absolutely, I mean, as you know yourself, music is
Speaker 13: a very expressive medium, very it's an artful medium, and indeed,
Speaker 13: as you as you express to yourself, it's you know,
Speaker 13: you can you can be very cinematic and very visual
Speaker 13: with you know, with with text as well as the melodic,
Speaker 13: you know content of a track. Hurricane Is is a
Speaker 13: very deep personal kind of message that the whole track
Speaker 13: came about and was influenced by very deep, heavy conversation
Speaker 13: I had with with a good friend of mine who
Speaker 13: he seemed to be troubled. So I was asking him,
Speaker 13: you know, come on with friends, let me know what's
Speaker 13: bothering you, and he let this whole secret out of
Speaker 13: the bag about this series of letters that he that
Speaker 13: he'd found from was written from one one family member
Speaker 13: to the to the other obviously his mother, and further,
Speaker 13: you know, came above water later on. And these letters
Speaker 13: were they were, they were like basically a cry for help.
Speaker 13: And it seems that the letter and as as the
Speaker 13: the the issue of domestic abuse, domestic violence never never
Speaker 13: sees the whole. The whole letters were like a cry
Speaker 13: for help from you know, from the other family member. Now,
Speaker 13: this obviously is a very hard hitting and you know
Speaker 13: sometimes taboo and unspoken issue you know, in in households
Speaker 13: and relationships, et cetera, like that, which which will really
Speaker 13: affect every family member involved. You know. Now, these things
Speaker 13: have been going on for years and never really it
Speaker 13: was never really spoken about until these letters were were
Speaker 13: you know, dug out and found, and which I suppose
Speaker 13: is a bit too late. It is a very very
Speaker 13: deepened and hard hitting issue. And so I found in that,
Speaker 13: excuse me, within that, within that that that story that
Speaker 13: needed to be expressed in a much more artful and
Speaker 13: and deeper melodic manner. As you say, cinematic and that's
Speaker 13: that's how the the initial song came about, and that's
Speaker 13: that's what it was written about, you know, So it
Speaker 13: is it is a very deep message.
Speaker 11: You know absolutely.
Speaker 12: Now your friend who told you, well, I'm curious did
Speaker 12: he actually show you the letters or did he just
Speaker 12: tell you about them?
Speaker 13: He had them with him when when we when we
Speaker 13: had the conversation, but he couldn't find it within himself
Speaker 13: to to to drag them out of the envelope, drag
Speaker 13: him out of his pocket. You know, I did prompt that,
Speaker 13: but obviously that's something so deep, so personal, and I
Speaker 13: think it was it was very personal for him to
Speaker 13: share the story initially, so I didn't think, you want,
Speaker 13: I didn't actually see the letters, so did you know
Speaker 13: kind of kept them to himself, you know?
Speaker 11: Sure?
Speaker 12: And then did you tell him that you were going
Speaker 12: to write as about this or And I'm curious too, obviously,
Speaker 12: I mean, I assume he's heard it, right.
Speaker 13: Yeah, obviously, with something so as deep as personal as that,
Speaker 13: I kind of, you know, I searched within him, you know,
Speaker 13: I asked, you know, asked for his blessing basically if
Speaker 13: if if if he wouldn't mind me actually, you know,
Speaker 13: producing a song with that issue in mind. You know,
Speaker 13: obviously you know that the names are are hidden to
Speaker 13: to protect the innocence that kind of way. So yeah,
Speaker 13: I I you know, I was looking look for a
Speaker 13: bit of acknowledgement from from my friend, you know that
Speaker 13: they didn't mind me doing this, you know, so yeah,
Speaker 13: he knew about it, you know.
Speaker 11: And then what was his uh when he heard it?
Speaker 11: I mean, I mean, what what was his reaction?
Speaker 13: Tears? And initially he was, yeah, tears, and then there
Speaker 13: obviously there's a bit of hugging down and you know,
Speaker 13: it was a bit of soul searching to you know,
Speaker 13: to actually write the song and pinpoint the melody parts
Speaker 13: of it to get the message over in an unaggressive
Speaker 13: manner like it's almost sweet, you know, as you said, cinematic.
Speaker 13: You know, there's enough aggression in issues like this without
Speaker 13: you know, some kind of a hard hitting heavy metal
Speaker 13: song back up that kind of violence, you know. But no,
Speaker 13: there was there was There was tears, and there was
Speaker 13: a few hugs, and there was a lot of thank yous,
Speaker 13: and and it was yeah, it pretty hard.
Speaker 12: You know, I feel like, and this is something that
Speaker 12: comes up a lot on the show, as we talk
Speaker 12: about taking terrible things, you know, traumas and tragedies and
Speaker 12: all of it, all the things that happen in life
Speaker 12: that are negative and creating something from that that is positive.
Speaker 12: And you know, when you when you take something negative
Speaker 12: and you create art, whether it be music or visual
Speaker 12: art or whatever, it is, anything that you can you know,
Speaker 12: take and then create something that not only helps helps
Speaker 12: you if it's something that happened to you, and then
Speaker 12: you're using it as almost a sort of therapy, right
Speaker 12: to work through it, to create something, but also has
Speaker 12: the effect of helping other people who can then connect
Speaker 12: with that. You know, other people who might hear the
Speaker 12: song or who might hear this conversation or other conversations
Speaker 12: that you've had about the song, and then they can
Speaker 12: they can kind of get get that same thing out
Speaker 12: of it and maybe it helps them in some way.
Speaker 12: And as you mentioned too, this is such an unfortunately,
Speaker 12: such a common problem domestic violence, and.
Speaker 11: So this is this is pretty relatable stuff for a
Speaker 11: lot of people.
Speaker 12: But I think that anytime you can take from that,
Speaker 12: you know, you can create something that is positive and
Speaker 12: put something out into the world that is positive. As
Speaker 12: a result of it, it's almost like a like transferring
Speaker 12: that energy a little bit from negative to positive. And
Speaker 12: so I think it's great and I think, like I said,
Speaker 12: I mean, the song itself is absolutely incredible. And I
Speaker 12: did want to ask you too about a couple of
Speaker 12: the people who are on the track with you, because
Speaker 12: you you you've got a couple of of hetty or
Speaker 12: maybe more than a couple, I'm not sure, but some
Speaker 12: heavy hitters here who who helped you record this?
Speaker 11: Correct?
Speaker 13: Absolutely, yeah, Now getting back to what you know what
Speaker 13: you what you said there a second ago, the you know,
Speaker 13: the message in there is it had and I felt
Speaker 13: that it had to be you know, portrayed in a
Speaker 13: positive manner. Hence the you know, the melody of the
Speaker 13: song itself. You know, there's no kind of miners in there,
Speaker 13: and it's all kind of in a in a in
Speaker 13: a an uplifting key. So yeah, the art and music
Speaker 13: has a way of delivering something that you can you know,
Speaker 13: you'll be a bit shy, are a bit find it
Speaker 13: very difficult to speak about its portrayed. You know, these
Speaker 13: issues of portrait reading this song and now I purposely
Speaker 13: didn't resolve the song the song doesn't have any answers.
Speaker 13: The song is pointing out it's a voice, you know,
Speaker 13: to point out the issues and getting that slamming that
Speaker 13: home to a lot of people, prompting them to talk
Speaker 13: about it themselves, really, you know. And so yeah, music
Speaker 13: and art has a way of it always finds a
Speaker 13: way of doing that, which is beautiful. And every you
Speaker 13: embark on something like this, it's unpredictable where it's going
Speaker 13: to go, and that that's a fascination and and also
Speaker 13: a drive, you know, an inspiration drive to keep you going. Right. Yeah,
Speaker 13: we we during production on this song. And thank you
Speaker 13: by the way, for the for the for the huge
Speaker 13: compliments for that map. That really really means a lot
Speaker 13: to me.
Speaker 11: Thank you absolutely great, great song.
Speaker 13: Thank you so much. That's great. You know, it's really
Speaker 13: great to hear that, you know, because I mean, this
Speaker 13: song is it's it's the worldwide debut and I've I've had,
Speaker 13: you know, only a few reactions about the song, you know,
Speaker 13: so so hearing that from the likes of yourself is
Speaker 13: to me, is is mind blowing wonderful. But touching on
Speaker 13: what you said as well about the you know, the
Speaker 13: guys that that played on the record and on the
Speaker 13: album with me. The album is coming out sometime we
Speaker 13: think in the summer. This particular track was the first
Speaker 13: one that the producer Wayne sheehy H myself. We we
Speaker 13: we got the demo down of it. I mean we're thinking, well,
Speaker 13: this needs it needs something very very strong. Didn't particularly
Speaker 13: we didn't want to particularly look for any anyone, you know,
Speaker 13: to to to to achieve that. We're looking for a
Speaker 13: particular sound, particular style. Now. Jerry Leonard is a good
Speaker 13: friend of Wayne, my producer, and we've all you know,
Speaker 13: worked in the studio since together. Jerry Lennard is the
Speaker 13: guy that you here with these ghostly guitar lines, you
Speaker 13: know almost at the real you know, they're they're really
Speaker 13: beautiful and bring a real gorgeous you know kind of
Speaker 13: I could have put it now. It's all almost levitation
Speaker 13: that you feel when you when you're listening to it.
Speaker 12: You know, that's a that's a really that's a good
Speaker 12: way of putting it. You know, I wouldn't have thought
Speaker 12: of that, but uh but yeah, you're right now that
Speaker 12: you use that word. That is that is perfect levitation.
Speaker 13: Yeah, it's the melodic the melodic path. Jerry took when
Speaker 13: we presented this song to him and Jerry, he's a
Speaker 13: great characters. He's a real, real good guy. And I
Speaker 13: was absolutely moon when you read after left and listening
Speaker 13: to the demo of the track and he said, yeah,
Speaker 13: what a great track lads. You know I want to
Speaker 13: be involved, you know. So I was bowled over. I
Speaker 13: couldn't you know. It was bit it was a bit
Speaker 13: hard for me to to to actually actually digest that
Speaker 13: and accept it. But once we got working on it,
Speaker 13: we we all realized at the time what it was
Speaker 13: going to what was going to happen here, you know,
Speaker 13: with this track. And now Jerry for for your listeners
Speaker 13: out there, Jerry is his background. He was David Bowie's
Speaker 13: musical director and guitar player, guitarist and co writer I
Speaker 13: believe on some some tracks for I think about the
Speaker 13: bones of about twenty years he was with with David
Speaker 13: Bowie touring and recording and you know, his musical partner
Speaker 13: there for for so long.
Speaker 11: Yeah.
Speaker 13: Oh, to have that integrity and they have that depth
Speaker 13: on on my records, you know, on my album and
Speaker 13: this this track in particular, to me, was the greatest
Speaker 13: accolade I could ever have musically I could ever achieve,
Speaker 13: you know, so delighted with that. So not only Jerry,
Speaker 13: but we presented the track again to Rob him alone
Speaker 13: or Robbie's fantastic, warm, floating baselines, you know. And Robbie
Speaker 13: Malone has been a co writer and musical partner with
Speaker 13: David Gray again for over twenty five years. So to
Speaker 13: have the caliber of these musicians on my track was,
Speaker 13: you know, it just it. It took me to a
Speaker 13: different realm match, you know. So it's very emotional when
Speaker 13: we when we find doing the final mix on the track. Yeah,
Speaker 13: Producer Wayne Wayne p she this is all recorded in
Speaker 13: his his fantastic studios, Ocean Studios, Ireland. That's right down
Speaker 13: on the on the southern tip of Ireland in any
Speaker 13: Cork next up New York, that that kind of way.
Speaker 13: So it's it's a very very open space and and
Speaker 13: wide open for creativity and you know, no distractions whatsoever.
Speaker 13: And this whole, the whole album, the whole you know,
Speaker 13: record has created in that in that you know, that
Speaker 13: production production space in in Wayne's studio. And Wayne has
Speaker 13: a beautiful history He's worked with with some of the
Speaker 13: biggest artists on the planet. You know, like I've just
Speaker 13: mentioned Jerry and Robbie there, but Wayne has also worked
Speaker 13: with the Hot House Flowers and Ronnie Wood. He was
Speaker 13: Ronni Woods drummer on on few of Ronnie's albums. They're
Speaker 13: great friends, you know, So Cactus World News back in
Speaker 13: the eighties, and and countless countless you know artists that
Speaker 13: that that that Wayne's worked with. So he brought that
Speaker 13: wealth and and all that that that beauty and depth
Speaker 13: of production value. Yeah to the old record, you know,
Speaker 13: so delighted, absolutely delighted.
Speaker 10: Yeah.
Speaker 11: Now, now, did Wayne also produce the one, the first single?
Speaker 13: Yes, yeah, Wayne, Wayne produced every track on the album.
Speaker 13: It's the albums, it's ten tracks. At the moment, we're
Speaker 13: working on another one, another track because the album hasn't
Speaker 13: been released yet. We're still toying with the idea of
Speaker 13: putting maybe one, maybe two tracks on there. So but yes, Wayne,
Speaker 13: Wayne produced every every track on the album, and he
Speaker 13: did produce the one, you know, so.
Speaker 12: Sorry, yeah, oh, I was just going to say that's
Speaker 12: a great track too. We're actually going to play that
Speaker 12: at the end of our conversation. I kind of bookend
Speaker 12: the segment. But yeah, that's that's another really great song.
Speaker 13: Oh wow, thank you very much. Let's yeah, keep these
Speaker 13: compliments coming out over them. You know.
Speaker 11: Well, you know I'm of Irish descent, so you know
Speaker 11: we have to we have to unite.
Speaker 13: Yeah, let's hold hands and jump up and down in
Speaker 13: the air.
Speaker 4: That's great.
Speaker 11: But yeah, the one you've had a lot of success
Speaker 11: with that, right is this? Was it number one on
Speaker 11: the Irish iTunes Rock and Maine charts?
Speaker 16: Is that correct?
Speaker 13: Yes? It was. Actually it was number one on the
Speaker 13: main Irish iTunes charts, unfortunately, edging Taylor Swift from the
Speaker 13: top position, which I was kind of proud about.
Speaker 5: You know.
Speaker 13: I thought it was very funny, brilliant, and yes it
Speaker 13: was number one for I think the week. And you know,
Speaker 13: I kept hopping over when I was when I was
Speaker 13: looking at these charts, I kept hopping over through the
Speaker 13: different scales and different genres actually of of the iTunes
Speaker 13: and and and normal usual indigenous charts, you know, and
Speaker 13: I looked at it was. Yeah, it was number one
Speaker 13: on the rock charts as well, and you know it
Speaker 13: stayed there for such a long time. It was great.
Speaker 13: It's great to have that that success. You surprise for me,
Speaker 13: you know, because I mean, I was up against some
Speaker 13: of the biggest artists on the planet. Yeah. And then
Speaker 13: the next thing, I got a phone call from from
Speaker 13: friends of mine in Amsterdam, so hey, you number two
Speaker 13: in the Netherlands. I'm like, oh my god, what's happening here?
Speaker 6: You know?
Speaker 11: That's fantastic.
Speaker 13: Absolutely, And yeah, I'm hoping to hoping to generate the
Speaker 13: same success with with Hurricane.
Speaker 12: And then can you talk to you a little bit
Speaker 12: about the one about you know what, what's kind of
Speaker 12: the message behind that. It's kind of got a vibe
Speaker 12: about you know, unity and change and so forth. But
Speaker 12: I mean, am I right about that? Am I interpreting
Speaker 12: that correctly?
Speaker 13: Yes? Absolutely? The one was written again as a as
Speaker 13: a as a a prayer for hope and unity. I
Speaker 13: suppose in a bit of a fractured world at the moment,
Speaker 13: where leadership seems to be a bit of a shadow
Speaker 13: that people are avoiding, and it's it's kind of a
Speaker 13: search for a positive, good, forward thinking, sincere leader, you know,
Speaker 13: you know, which I suppose politically, which I try to
Speaker 13: keep away from politics in my music because it's too
Speaker 13: aided and too niche, you know, but but we do
Speaker 13: need positive leadership and this is a it's it's almost
Speaker 13: a prayer. It's almost written as a prayer, but it is,
Speaker 13: it's a cry for hope and unity. And you know,
Speaker 13: let's let's let's take let's take each other and take
Speaker 13: each other into the future with a great with a
Speaker 13: great leader. And it's a question as well, you know,
Speaker 13: And the question is who is the one? Who will
Speaker 13: be the one? You're going to be the one? Am
Speaker 13: I going to be the one to save the world?
Speaker 13: You know? And that's basically the message in the song there.
Speaker 13: You know, it could be could be anyone. It could
Speaker 13: be anyone.
Speaker 15: You know.
Speaker 11: Yeah, we we we will play that in a few minutes.
Speaker 12: I do want to ask you too about the meaning
Speaker 12: of and I'm sure you this is a question you
Speaker 12: probably get tired of answering this cometry.
Speaker 11: You get asked this question all the time. But the
Speaker 11: meaning of the Deep Hour?
Speaker 13: What?
Speaker 17: What?
Speaker 11: Where does the name of the Deep Hour come from?
Speaker 13: The Deep Hour is somewhere between an angelic feeling and catatonia.
Speaker 13: That explains it.
Speaker 4: You know.
Speaker 13: Now, when when I say this, I think you'll understand this, man,
Speaker 13: you know, with your your history of you know, hypnotherapy
Speaker 13: et cetera. But the deep hour is a state of
Speaker 13: mind that you have no control over. And this happens
Speaker 13: in the middle of the night, when you're in the
Speaker 13: depths of your sleep. And that's when when when dreaming,
Speaker 13: the you know, the the the the art of dreaming
Speaker 13: comes in l Now you read the deepest of your sleep.
Speaker 13: You know, this doesn't last. This condition doesn't last all night.
Speaker 13: It probably lasts about an hour. And that's that is
Speaker 13: the state of mind that I want this music to
Speaker 13: to to create within the for the listener, you know,
Speaker 13: for the consumer, Yes, it's basically like nearly a catatonic
Speaker 13: state of you know, dream world, but great dreams, you know,
Speaker 13: nice dreams. So that's where that's the name of the deeper.
Speaker 13: That's where that comes from, is the deepest hour in
Speaker 13: the night where you touch upon your dream dream scenes
Speaker 13: really you.
Speaker 11: Know, okay, okay, very good? Yes.
Speaker 12: And then so the album through your eyes, do you
Speaker 12: have because I know you said you've got another track
Speaker 12: that you're gonna be adding to it, do you have
Speaker 12: any kind of an eta on one that might be
Speaker 12: I know, sometime in twenty twenty six, I assume it
Speaker 12: will be.
Speaker 13: Yeah, we the plan is releasing in kind of calculated increments,
Speaker 13: you know, So the one late last year because I
Speaker 13: really wanted to drop a single in twenty twenty five,
Speaker 13: and obviously the Hurricane now and I'm progressing with pr
Speaker 13: and you know, radio and awareness of these tracks. So
Speaker 13: the next track to come out after that will be
Speaker 13: These Are My Streets. Let's track all These Are My Streets,
Speaker 13: which will be coming out at the start of April.
Speaker 13: So I wanted three or four singles to be released
Speaker 13: from the album before I actually drop drop the album,
Speaker 13: you know, getting back to your question, I think after
Speaker 13: the fourth single, which will probably be May, the album
Speaker 13: should come out, so it'll be early summer. I think
Speaker 13: estimate arrival will be early summer hopefully fingers crossed.
Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah, excellent, excellent. Well, we'll certainly have you back
Speaker 12: on you know, to talk about it when when you're
Speaker 12: ready and everything, because like I said, I mean, you know,
Speaker 12: obviously we've only heard these well we're going to play
Speaker 12: the one in just a moment, but these two songs
Speaker 12: are so great, so I can't wait to hear the
Speaker 12: rest of it. I think it's going to be really,
Speaker 12: really good, and you know, and I really, I really
Speaker 12: like your approach to songwriting and the messaging and all
Speaker 12: of it I think is great. So and again, the
Speaker 12: new single The Hurricane will be out of course February twentieth,
Speaker 12: just in a few days. And love that such a
Speaker 12: great track. I'm very honored that we got to do
Speaker 12: the radio premiere of it here on the show. And
Speaker 12: but Brian, this has been wonderful. Where for our listeners,
Speaker 12: where should they go? Where's the best place to.
Speaker 11: Go online to keep up with everything that you're doing
Speaker 11: with The Deep Hower.
Speaker 13: Yeah, well, please follow me on on Facebook, the Deep
Speaker 13: Hower on Facebook, Instagram obviously the same, the Deep Hower
Speaker 13: and my website. Every little nugget of information that I'm
Speaker 13: releasing will be up on my websites, which is the
Speaker 13: Deep Hour dot com. No personal. So there'll be new
Speaker 13: releases eventually, merch and you know, gig dates two dates
Speaker 13: if you know, there's no there's no two dates as
Speaker 13: such yet because we're still busy with the pr and
Speaker 13: the launching of a few tracks to get a bit
Speaker 13: of a bit more meat on the bone, you know,
Speaker 13: get something out there for the you know, for the
Speaker 13: valid listeners and the valid fan base. So yeah, it's
Speaker 13: an exciting time. It's it's it's great, you know, and
Speaker 13: it's it's it's brought in twenty twenty six on a
Speaker 13: real high and a real positive note for me. You know,
Speaker 13: the whole team actually behind me, the production team, the
Speaker 13: you know, the musicians involved and the PR team and
Speaker 13: every everybody involved. It's it's fabulous, so.
Speaker 12: Fantastic. You got you got a lot of good people
Speaker 12: around you. That's that's for sure, and uh, that is outstanding.
Speaker 4: Brian.
Speaker 11: We will let you go.
Speaker 12: We're gonna hit this track. We're gonna play the one,
Speaker 12: the first single from this project, the Deep Hour. But
Speaker 12: Brian o'glanby, thank you so much, and like I said,
Speaker 12: we will have you back and I really love talking
Speaker 12: to you today.
Speaker 11: Thank you so much for joining us.
Speaker 13: Absolutely, thank you very much. Thanks Mattin and all your
Speaker 13: production team there and all your listeners. Thank you very much.
Speaker 13: The Deep Hower, The Deep Hower.
Speaker 11: All right, Brian, thank you, take care less.
Speaker 13: Thank you very much.
Speaker 11: Boy bye bye. All right. That is Brian o'g Brian
Speaker 11: o'clanby from The Deep Hower.
Speaker 12: Sorry I'm tripping on my still struggling with my voice
Speaker 12: a little bit, but well wow, he's great.
Speaker 11: To talk to you.
Speaker 12: I really enjoyed that conversation a lot, and I love
Speaker 12: the new single the Hurricane which came out, which will
Speaker 12: be coming out on February twentieth. But the One is
Speaker 12: the first single from the album, and let's give this
Speaker 12: a spin. This is the one, and this is the
Speaker 12: Deep Hour.
Speaker 6: Gets a twisted cat the fad to say the world
Speaker 6: the fall in grace through every.
Speaker 13: Ward lie shadow, strack you down, clean the world from
Speaker 13: lost and found, to clean the eye ground.
Speaker 9: The simple is extreme. Birdn't know, it's weird to the
Speaker 9: open end, to whever you want to where you flag.
Speaker 13: Wonn be won?
Speaker 4: See to the mall.
Speaker 9: Around the child reaching.
Speaker 13: Out to broken smiles to hold the bowl with you.
Speaker 15: In the se Brokendry, Singapore, the silence screen light, the
Speaker 15: ship with.
Speaker 9: Silver shape, the word.
Speaker 13: Around this weird.
Speaker 9: Reaching and so everyone to every flag.
Speaker 13: Wall warm, see.
Speaker 18: To see.
Speaker 13: You gotta change to save.
Speaker 9: You in the shapes who are cold. It's good bye.
Speaker 4: Reaches.
Speaker 9: So every flag.
Speaker 7: Wom warm, see.
Speaker 9: Save to change, n save wone be won, don't be
Speaker 9: wone see can skis.
Speaker 4: kNs. That is called the one.
Speaker 12: That is the first single from the Deep Hour, And
Speaker 12: we just talked to Brian o'glanbye from The Deep Hour.
Speaker 12: Uh And earlier on the show we did the world
Speaker 12: radio premiere of his brand new single Hurricane, which we
Speaker 12: will play again later in the show. And I really
Speaker 12: enjoyed talking with Brian, you know, right now because of
Speaker 12: the issue with my voice, so right now, instead of
Speaker 12: my voice cracking, it actually sounds deeper.
Speaker 11: And the way that it sounds. You know, what would
Speaker 11: be really cool is if the way that it sounds
Speaker 11: right now in this moment is if it just stayed
Speaker 11: like this.
Speaker 16: I don't think I don't hear as drastic of a
Speaker 16: difference as you do.
Speaker 11: I think, really I could. To me, my voice sounds
Speaker 11: deeper right now and I like it.
Speaker 16: Okay, well you can keep it for now.
Speaker 11: I can't keep it. It's not going to say this way,
Speaker 11: but well.
Speaker 16: Maybe if you mentally try and make it stay that way, stay.
Speaker 12: That way, I'd prefer that. I know that that's impossible.
Speaker 12: I would prefer a deeper voice, but anyway, but yeah,
Speaker 12: thank you again to Brian from the Deep Hour. That
Speaker 12: was that was wonderful and we will definitely have him
Speaker 12: on again. And we just want to mention so Jenny,
Speaker 12: you wanted to mention because we played Holly Brewer last
Speaker 12: week on the show. We kind of snuck it in.
Speaker 12: We didn't really tell anybody we were going to play it,
Speaker 12: but we played the new single from Holly Brewer and
Speaker 12: then she she was so, she's so wonderful. She was
Speaker 12: on the show a number of years ago. She hasn't
Speaker 12: been on in a long time. I wonder if she'd
Speaker 12: want to come back on. But she actually sent you
Speaker 12: a card.
Speaker 16: I love Holly.
Speaker 11: Yeah, Oh she's wonderful.
Speaker 3: Yeah, Hollybrewer dot org. If do you want to check
Speaker 3: her out? Actually, on her band camp she had some
Speaker 3: stickers for sale, and you know how much I love stickers. Yes,
Speaker 3: so I got some stickers. But she sent me like
Speaker 3: you bought some stickers, right, you expect stickers.
Speaker 16: No, it came in this.
Speaker 3: Beautiful card that's obviously handmade and handprinted, and it was
Speaker 3: even sealed with a wax seal. I absolutely adore Holly,
Speaker 3: and I encourage you to check out Hollybrewer dot org.
Speaker 3: And I love her artwork, I love her music. Yes,
Speaker 3: it's just a great artist, a great person.
Speaker 12: Yes, absolutely, So we're gonna play I have a Eric
Speaker 12: Pilcher requested a song, and of course longtime listeners are
Speaker 12: familiar with Eric Pilcher. He's a part of the show.
Speaker 12: He's been a part of this show kind of off
Speaker 12: and on. He used to do the classic film reviews.
Speaker 12: He's going to be back to that. And he's done
Speaker 12: many segments with us. And he also is UH. He
Speaker 12: does the Tough Bumps podcast with us, which is separate
Speaker 12: from WM and H. Of course, that is strictly online
Speaker 12: Tough Bumps. We usually do it on Sunday nights. You
Speaker 12: can find that online. But he requested a song. This
Speaker 12: is ice Cube Arrest the President, the radio edit of it,
Speaker 12: of course, and I like this track, so I'm gonna
Speaker 12: gohead and play this and then stick around. We got
Speaker 12: edge Ys coming up in the second hour and they
Speaker 12: are in the building. I can hear their voices, so
Speaker 12: looking forward to talking with them.
Speaker 11: It's been a while. But here it is Arrest the
Speaker 11: President by ice Cube.
Speaker 4: Yeah, we're not dropped the mic. It hit the floor
Speaker 4: like gold. That's right. You can't pick it up on
Speaker 4: your truck. Y'all know what it is. Y'all know what
Speaker 4: it was, y'all know what to share with me?
