Speaker 14: is the great Ricky Mapleton who is here with us
Speaker 14: and we're going to be speaking with him in just
Speaker 14: a moment. But welcome everybody. This is Matt Connorton Unleashed.
Speaker 14: We are live from the studios of wm NH ninety
Speaker 14: five point three FM, Inglorious Manchester, New Hampshire. Of course,
Speaker 14: for all your streaming options. You can go to Matt
Speaker 14: connorton dot com, slash live and for information about how
Speaker 14: to interact with the show. Unfortunately, speaking of interaction, we
Speaker 14: do not have a video feed this morning, so we
Speaker 14: are not on Facebook and YouTube and all that because
Speaker 14: the software is not working for whatever reason. Can't seem
Speaker 14: to connect. But it is a radio show first and foremost,
Speaker 14: and radio is theater of the mind.
Speaker 15: So here we go.
Speaker 14: And today is Saturday, February fifteen, twenty twenty five. And
Speaker 14: not only is Rickey Mapleton here with someone.
Speaker 12: Else as well, Morning Sunshine.
Speaker 14: Jenny is here at the news table, and uh we
Speaker 14: also have let me bring that Mike up. And I
Speaker 14: believe Ricky Mapleton, are you in the five Timers club
Speaker 14: now here on Matt Connorton on leash.
Speaker 15: I believe so.
Speaker 14: I believe so too. Yes, this is a great honor. Well,
Speaker 14: it's wonderful to have you back. And I love that
Speaker 14: song Multimedia Life, Thank you. I think we were talking
Speaker 14: off air about how it's it's almost like a h
Speaker 14: You're stairway to Evan because it's it's like four and
Speaker 14: a half minutes. It's a love song for you.
Speaker 16: I was working with the musician likes to play that banjo, Yes,
Speaker 16: loves to play it. Uh, just a lot of fun,
Speaker 16: a lot of fun. That that song has not been
Speaker 16: released yet. Oh that's so that's a world radio premiere. No,
Speaker 16: that is kind of like a work in progress right now.
Speaker 16: But the whole idea of it is multimedia life, first
Speaker 16: world problems. You know.
Speaker 15: Yeah, a lot of fun. Thanks for playing though.
Speaker 14: Absolutely, you've got the brand new album. What's the tell everybody?
Speaker 14: The title? It's it's a long title.
Speaker 16: The title is happy, Fun, Joy, Seize the day, Carpe
Speaker 16: diem and Carpe adm is of course Latin for season. Yes,
Speaker 16: the the the idea of the album came out with
Speaker 16: Latin terms. And you know how popular Latin terms can be,
Speaker 16: and how they fly off the shelves and people clamor
Speaker 16: to clamor clamor matt to learn Latin why they're enjoying music.
Speaker 14: Is it not fair to say, of all the dead languages,
Speaker 14: Latin probably the most popular?
Speaker 15: Absolutely? Well, yes, yes, still quite quite a language.
Speaker 14: It is still spoken in many Catholic churches.
Speaker 16: I'm sure still spoken today in the English. In our
Speaker 16: in our modern English grammar, we used Latin all the
Speaker 16: time with unwittingly knowing it. It is the root for
Speaker 16: many many for many many words. Yes, yes, route prefixes, suffixes.
Speaker 16: The English language an amazing thing, and Latin has is
Speaker 16: a major role playing.
Speaker 14: Without Latin, there might not be English. That is why
Speaker 14: you're saying yes correct.
Speaker 16: I think, well, I don't want to get into a
Speaker 16: whole English grammar debate with you or rock, but that's
Speaker 16: pretty much what in Happy Fun joys about just being happy,
Speaker 16: having fun, being joyful of the moment. Carpai DM sees
Speaker 16: the day the leadoff song of that project. The original
Speaker 16: project name was fifty songs a song a day for
Speaker 16: fifty days, recording wise, okay, which became a challenge about
Speaker 16: day two. Oh uh, somehow I heard the I recalled
Speaker 16: the term car pay DM yes and ran with that.
Speaker 16: And fifty days later, actually about sixty days later, we
Speaker 16: had fifty tracks outstanding, some good, some bad, something different,
Speaker 16: but all happy, Yeah, but all happy.
Speaker 14: I think that's outstanding. I think we need that now. Yes,
Speaker 14: And I need to take this call. Actually, we have
Speaker 14: a call you always bring up. There's always the callers
Speaker 14: come out. They always want to speak to you when
Speaker 14: you're on the show.
Speaker 15: Well, thanks for calling.
Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, hi will welcome to Matt Connorton Unleashed. Who's
Speaker 14: on the line.
Speaker 17: Hello, this is Ad yes's from the community, Ricky Mabelton.
Speaker 11: We are at the community.
Speaker 17: Oh, let me just backtrack for a second, mister Connaton,
Speaker 17: Matt Conaton, thank.
Speaker 11: You so much for having Ricky Mabelton on. You are
Speaker 11: have become the guiding light here at the community.
Speaker 2: Well, and me and.
Speaker 11: Gildod and the rest of the girls, we just think
Speaker 11: your show is a number one the knees Bees if
Speaker 11: you were just as as the kids would say, it's fire,
Speaker 11: It's fire, Matt.
Speaker 12: Wow.
Speaker 17: So I appreciate that I call here today is not
Speaker 17: only to voice our concern that pop culture show that
Speaker 17: has been on for almost six seasons is ending and
Speaker 17: you are starting a new.
Speaker 11: Show called Happy Fun Joy.
Speaker 17: I thought that sounds positive, Ricky, but wow, you know,
Speaker 17: change is difficult for us here at the community, and
Speaker 17: I think the rest of you listeners and viewers are
Speaker 17: very concerned.
Speaker 14: Oh is that true?
Speaker 17: Right after discussion at our biweekly meeting, we have decided
Speaker 17: to give your show and your music I listen, and
Speaker 17: mister Connorton, the Great would oblige could you please perhaps play.
Speaker 11: The leadoff track.
Speaker 17: But we've listened to it and we kind of get
Speaker 17: where you're going there, uh ricky and uh you know,
Speaker 17: I believe it's called uh Seized the.
Speaker 11: Day Carpe diem. Okay, all right, thanks again.
Speaker 14: Okay, all right, thank you for the call. I just
Speaker 14: appreciate it. Wow.
Speaker 16: Her it sounds like her vocal corse of clearing up
Speaker 16: a little bit from uh.
Speaker 14: She calls all the time. Yeah, I know, I'm I'm
Speaker 14: super fan of her. Every time you're on she calls.
Speaker 14: And she even called when I was on your television
Speaker 14: show that time she called, and I did offer her
Speaker 14: a hypnotherapy session because I have a strong suspicion that
Speaker 14: she's a smoker, not too stereotype.
Speaker 15: Based on her voice, I believe she has given that
Speaker 15: bad habit.
Speaker 14: Up well good. It's obviously too late, because you know
Speaker 14: when you hear your voice, But.
Speaker 16: Do you think that voice was like did she have
Speaker 16: that before she started smoking? Is that just a good old,
Speaker 16: good old Agnes voice.
Speaker 14: I know, I'm thinking before the cigarettes, she probably had
Speaker 14: a nice, smooth, silky voice. And then she wrote that.
Speaker 16: Do you think maybe before she maybe she ruined it
Speaker 16: somehow other than smoking. Maybe she's maybe she was, like,
Speaker 16: I don't know, a cheerleader or or went to a
Speaker 16: lot of a lot of her kids games and high.
Speaker 15: School and she kind of ruined it that that could be.
Speaker 14: That could be.
Speaker 15: But I agree with what you're saying. Yeah, sure.
Speaker 18: And what was she saying about your television show, Yeah,
Speaker 18: changing Yeah, midlife pop culture show that I've that's been
Speaker 18: on for six or seven years, Matt, Yeah, the format
Speaker 18: I've been asked in the fictitious world of producers, I've
Speaker 18: been asked to change the name of the midlife pop
Speaker 18: culture show.
Speaker 14: Okay, So they're.
Speaker 16: Switching it over to Happy Fun, Joy Car pay dim
Speaker 16: sees today to get more to expand out on the
Speaker 16: audience potential.
Speaker 14: So it's branding good.
Speaker 16: So instead of just branding yeah, yeah, thank you, instead
Speaker 16: of just having midlife, I've called your show yes kind
Speaker 16: of that the audience would just pass that by.
Speaker 14: Yes.
Speaker 15: So now we're gonna do a little bit a.
Speaker 16: Little bit more, same kind of concepts, same kind of fun,
Speaker 16: but trying to get some more viewers.
Speaker 15: And it's gonna change up a little bit.
Speaker 16: There will be some new formats, but I'm always excited
Speaker 16: to take Agnes if she would be nice enough to
Speaker 16: call Agnes and we appreciate your calling.
Speaker 14: Yes, absolutely, well, let's well honor her requests. Of course,
Speaker 14: she requested the Carpe Dim song from the new album
Speaker 14: what's the full title again?
Speaker 15: Carpe DM Seize the Day, Seize the Day?
Speaker 14: Well, isn't it?
Speaker 16: Happy joy carpet, Happy fun joy, Carpe you can call
Speaker 16: what of you like? It's just gonna pass on a
Speaker 16: lot of good vibes. And I thought, I think this
Speaker 16: one more than the other fifty songs captures musically, oh
Speaker 16: good times, worre some of the well, I'll just leave
Speaker 16: it at that. I think it's one of the better songs.
Speaker 16: I shouldn't say the other ones that's terrible, but I
Speaker 16: think this one really hits it right in the botox.
Speaker 14: All right, very good Carpet Dim brand new from Ricky Mapleton, Open, gonna.
Speaker 1: Break it down, gonna soop until there now.
Speaker 2: Four doubt is what I'm gonna leave behind.
Speaker 1: Goes right right now. It's my turn to shine.

Speaker 16: to gett up and shaking that thing with me on
Speaker 16: that song.
Speaker 14: Well it's nice of you to say that I'm actually
Speaker 14: legally prohibited from dancing in public places.
Speaker 15: Well this is this is this thank you for dancing.
Speaker 14: That was a lot of fun. Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 14: That's a fun song, very very catchy. Jenny, what were
Speaker 14: you saying off air? Your you're commenting on.
Speaker 12: It reminded me of Blondie?
Speaker 14: Yes, oh, thank you?
Speaker 15: Yeah, yeah, wow, that's a super compliment.
Speaker 16: I appreciate that I also look fabulous in address as well.
Speaker 16: Oh that's blondie. It's kind of my uh really, uh yeah,
Speaker 16: well that's all. I'm feeling a little uncomfortable about that,
Speaker 16: but I do like the blondie compliment.
Speaker 15: Yes, yes, yes, we.
Speaker 14: Have a we have another calling. Come on, come on,
Speaker 14: come on, you serious you you bring out the callers. Hi,
Speaker 14: welcome to Matt Conridson Unleashed. Who's on the line.
Speaker 22: Hello, this is Tom Tom Uilson, and thank you for
Speaker 22: taking my call, mister Connaughton. As usual, your show has
Speaker 22: inspired me in many different realms of the entertainment. But
Speaker 22: I am calling today not only to tell my thoughts
Speaker 22: of how fabulous you are, mister Connaton, but also my
Speaker 22: concern that The Midlife Pop Culture Show, a long running
Speaker 22: show that Ricky Mapleton host, is going to be changing
Speaker 22: over to Happy Fun Joy. The name, as you know,
Speaker 22: is probably named after myself because I am a very uplifting,
Speaker 22: yet conservative and concerned individual. So perhaps we could listen
Speaker 22: to the song happy Fun Joy Boy. Thank you for
Speaker 22: taking my call, mister Connaton. You are a fabulous man,
Speaker 22: and hopefully we can straighten a few things out of
Speaker 22: what's going on here with the new programming. Wow versus
Speaker 22: Tom Tom Muelson signing off.
Speaker 14: Oh all right, Tom Tom Muelson, another concerned caller regarding
Speaker 14: your television.
Speaker 2: Boy.
Speaker 15: I'm having second thoughts now, Yeah, no, I like the idea.
Speaker 14: I think you should stick with it.
Speaker 16: But you got someone like Matt Connotson Agnes not. That's
Speaker 16: a small sample size. I'm thinking maybe it's a bad idea.
Speaker 16: I think it's a great idea. I think it's a
Speaker 16: great idea.
Speaker 14: But uh well perhaps by the end of the song,
Speaker 14: Tom Tom Muelson, Well, also think that's a great idea.
Speaker 14: So we'll play this. So this is called happy fun
Speaker 14: Joy happy fun Joy happy fun joy happy fun Joy
Speaker 14: rand new from Ricky Mapleton. Check it out.
Speaker 23: We've got it.

Speaker 24: happy happy, Welcome this morning you. I'm building now.
Speaker 14: God, I'm pating my sex.
Speaker 16: I can't seem to see.

Speaker 24: Because I'm happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, happy happy love joy.
Speaker 16: Can't I let me talking the sky but to me, mother.
Speaker 24: Mother, lucky slide, he's just so under now taking control
Speaker 24: of again happy joy.
Speaker 10: Joy, so gallant enemy, beautiful.
Speaker 15: Joy.
Speaker 25: Honest, Well, how do you even sing like that? Rickey Mapleton?
Speaker 25: That is a very observant question.
Speaker 14: I mean, I assume you're using more You're like, you're
Speaker 14: not using your You're using head voice.
Speaker 16: Right, sounded like I it sounded like I had a
Speaker 16: had a you might have had a cold little halium tank.
Speaker 14: And there's oh okay, I don't know, gotcha.
Speaker 16: I think that's the power enjoy of the modern capabilities,
Speaker 16: of the recording capabilities, good or bad. Anytime I can
Speaker 16: change my voice, Matt, I run to it like a
Speaker 16: like a fly to a moth, or a moth to
Speaker 16: a flame.
Speaker 14: Moth to a flame.
Speaker 15: Oh yeah, I I.
Speaker 16: After listening to that, I was I've been searching for
Speaker 16: the other version that I had of that that wasn't
Speaker 16: so helium voice orientated.
Speaker 14: Oh.
Speaker 16: Then I started arguing with myself, or maybe that is funny,
Speaker 16: maybe it's good, maybe it's not.
Speaker 15: Oh my god, oh my god, I'm sorry. There you
Speaker 15: have it. Happy fun didn't make you feel happy?
Speaker 14: It did, but it also disturbed me slightly, I think
Speaker 14: the voice because it also reminded me of the fish
Speaker 14: Head song. Oh you know the fish head fish Head
Speaker 14: eat them up? Oh okay, yeah, remind me a little
Speaker 14: bit of that. And that's disturbing. But but I do
Speaker 14: appreciate that happy and the fun and the joy.
Speaker 16: Okay, okay, okay, all right, I'm really you know, I
Speaker 16: came in here super positive about happy fun joy.
Speaker 15: Yeah, shawl movement coming in playing some happy fun joy.
Speaker 14: Mute.
Speaker 15: I I just right about now, I think I do
Speaker 15: we have any other callers?
Speaker 14: We actually do. I apologize, but let's see. We'll see
Speaker 14: who's on the line here.
Speaker 26: Thank you, thank you for taking my call. Mat Oh
Speaker 26: you are just to look as handsome as that Matt Conaton.
Speaker 26: Thank you so much for allowing Ricky Mapleton to come.
Speaker 11: On your show.
Speaker 26: Oh, it's a great honor for anybody to be on
Speaker 26: your show, and if even for that englishy on your show.
Speaker 17: HM.
Speaker 27: The question now is for you, Ricky Mapleton. Over the years,
Speaker 27: our relationship has been up and down, back and forth
Speaker 27: with Agnes.
Speaker 11: I think we should just let this.
Speaker 26: One lie and just you know, have a little respect
Speaker 26: for Matt Connoton and all he does for the entertainment values,
Speaker 26: yes that we hold so dear, Yes, so, mister Conington,
Speaker 26: if you could play perhaps one of your songs that
Speaker 26: you think Ricky Mapleton.
Speaker 14: Has done that meets.
Speaker 26: Up with your standards.
Speaker 11: M d uh oh, thank you.
Speaker 26: I've taken so much of your time. Ooh ooh, I
Speaker 26: think I've really gone off track, but that's what happens.
Speaker 26: This is englishy, thank you so much, dear.
Speaker 14: Oh you're you're welcome English. Oh bye bye, thank you,
Speaker 14: thank you so much for the call English. He did
Speaker 14: get a little off track, but as I like to say,
Speaker 14: that's that's why we bought the Revolutionary Wary War. Yes, yes,
Speaker 14: because you know English, they just get crazy.
Speaker 9: Now.
Speaker 14: I love the passion I would like to play. Uh so, yeah,
Speaker 14: So I guess I'll choose the song that I really
Speaker 14: like now, this particular song that I don't think we've
Speaker 14: ever played this before on the show. It's called bet
Speaker 14: bet Bet sports betting song. And uh as, I think
Speaker 14: everyone knows I have a terrible sports gambling addiction, you know,
Speaker 14: And and uh so I I can relate to this song.
Speaker 14: I think we should play this.
Speaker 15: Thank you. This is something off.
Speaker 14: This is an end.
Speaker 15: This is not a ricky mamble. So this is a
Speaker 15: silly road production.
Speaker 16: Scream on artists, yes called scream of sports songs and
Speaker 16: uh fabulous and coming off the super Bowl and all that.
Speaker 15: Yeah blah.
Speaker 16: This goes out to people that may spend their money
Speaker 16: a little frivolously. Yes, yes, all right, a great choice, Matt,
Speaker 16: thank you.
Speaker 14: All right, here we go.
Speaker 11: But ball, you bet baseball, you bet hockey, you bet.
Speaker 9: On zoom, wrestling, basketball, you bet soccer.
Speaker 1: You bet golf.
Speaker 11: You bet you can't even bet on frenchly.
Speaker 28: Handball, money line points spread over under teaser parley, round robin,
Speaker 28: prop bet future bet, box bet hedge, bet double trench,
Speaker 28: trifect up, push, bet on the.
Speaker 9: Underdogs, paint bomb, you bet tennis, you bet boxing, you bet, you.
Speaker 1: Can't even bet on the National Lacrosse League.
Speaker 26: You bet.
Speaker 1: You bet, you bet that that bets they scored the
Speaker 1: winning touchdown. That best, there's a flag on the field,
Speaker 1: bet that best. It doesn't count. Don't go and bet
Speaker 1: your life away.
Speaker 14: What I like about that track is it ends with
Speaker 14: a positive, some positive advice don't go and bat your
Speaker 14: life away, but it also does before we get there,
Speaker 14: lists a series of options and some people I didn't
Speaker 14: know you could bat on sumo wrestling. I mean that's exciting, league, Yeah,
Speaker 14: I mean that's that's crazy. You met on anything.
Speaker 15: It's unbelievable.
Speaker 14: Yes, yes, Oh you know what. We have another call.
Speaker 14: It's he is online. Hi, welcome to Matt Connorton. Unleashed
Speaker 14: is us?
Speaker 15: Hello, this is Karen.
Speaker 26: And thank god that someone like Matt Connaughton had the
Speaker 26: rationale to try to keep Ricky Mapleton in check with
Speaker 26: all this ridiculous talk. Ricky Mapleton this, and Ricky Mapleton that. Well,
Speaker 26: what we should be focusing.
Speaker 15: On is Matt Cononton.
Speaker 14: I agree.
Speaker 26: It is all Karen's know and all Ken's no that
Speaker 26: people with firm belief in righteous thoughts should be praised. Yes,
Speaker 26: this is why Karen always enjoys the Matt Connaughton experience
Speaker 26: with his wisdom not only in music life in general.
Speaker 26: Knowledge is not only whimsical, but is indeed worthy of praise.
Speaker 14: Oh, thank you.
Speaker 26: And as for you, Riki Mapleton, you go ahead and
Speaker 26: change the name of your show to whatever you want.
Speaker 26: I never did like the Midlife Pop Culture Show. To
Speaker 26: be honest with you, as I told you many times,
Speaker 26: you don't see Matt Connerton going changing the name of
Speaker 26: his show every fivey once in a while. So this
Speaker 26: is Karen and Ken saying, have a great show, mister Connaughton.
Speaker 14: Thank you, Thank you Karen and Ken. Wow, that that
Speaker 14: is wonderful.
Speaker 15: Maybe on your end it was wonderful.
Speaker 14: Well, I mean, you know, I feel I feel kind
Speaker 14: of attacked.
Speaker 16: Yeah, do you feel like, uh well, I'm I'm thrilled
Speaker 16: that somebody is actually calling in and taking notice of Yeah,
Speaker 16: of of myself. But Matt Connaton, This Matt connaught in
Speaker 16: that everybody's Matt content. Matt Connaton all today.
Speaker 15: What's what? What's the story?
Speaker 19: Yeah?
Speaker 14: Yeah, I know a guy from New York look fabulous?
Speaker 14: Feel that way?
Speaker 2: Oh?
Speaker 14: Thank you?
Speaker 29: Yes?
Speaker 14: Yes. Do do you think that Karen lacked empathy?
Speaker 30: Yes?
Speaker 15: Great, see yes you're my hero.
Speaker 14: Well, perhaps we should play this track Empathetic from the
Speaker 14: brand new what's the full title again?
Speaker 15: Have Me Find Joy carby DMCs the Day, Choose anyone
Speaker 15: you want?
Speaker 14: So long tittle?
Speaker 17: I know.
Speaker 14: Oh, so you don't have to say the whole thing.
Speaker 14: You can choose any any part of that you want to,
Speaker 14: so I can just call it Carpe DM.
Speaker 8: I like that.
Speaker 14: We know, all right, all right, very good brand new
Speaker 14: from Carpe dim. This is called empathetic. This is for you, Karen,
Speaker 14: and thank you again.
Speaker 15: It's so hard to be.
Speaker 5: So empathetic when this world is so synthetic it really
Speaker 5: takes up part of you while I'm living.
Speaker 1: With a curse that I just can't go through.
Speaker 11: It's so hard to be so empathetic when this world is.
Speaker 1: So synthetic, it really takes up part of you. But
Speaker 1: I'm living that we living want to live in to
Speaker 1: come out.
Speaker 14: It's so hard.
Speaker 1: To be true ampathetic.
Speaker 5: So I think a smile on my face, serving kindness
Speaker 5: and a hollow holler gas maybe one day a fine
Speaker 5: sparn b. It's hard to be empathetic living in the
Speaker 5: dark hair.
Speaker 2: It's so hard to.
Speaker 5: Live so empathetic when this world is so pathetic. You're
Speaker 5: kind of gets up part of you. But I'm living
Speaker 5: with this curse.
Speaker 11: And it's making me to come out.
Speaker 5: It's so hard to be empathetics when this world so synthetic.

Speaker 14: I'm just gonna call it that.
Speaker 16: I'm I'm with you on that Carpadium thing. I'm changing
Speaker 16: everything when I get.

Speaker 14: with your show, people will complain and changing things.
Speaker 15: I'm not I'm not doing this for people to complain.
Speaker 14: People don't like change. People don't like change. They get,
Speaker 14: they get, they get, they get freaked out, Okay, freaked out.
Speaker 15: I don't. I'm it's very unusual, but I'm I'm speechless.
Speaker 14: By the way, did I hear? Was that Fred Schneider

Speaker 15: Boy, what a what a great what a great band?
Speaker 14: Yes?
Speaker 16: Oh, absolutely unbelievable and that that's kind of was the

Speaker 16: him sing some song about going back to Detroit or
Speaker 16: something or yeah, yeah, there's.
Speaker 14: Some weird song that I've never heard before. I'm like, Wow,

Speaker 2: Let the buyer beware, Let the buyer beware.
Speaker 6: Got me out him door, smooth talkers with your sick disguise.
Speaker 6: God's gold on the surface, but it's all a bunch
Speaker 6: of lies. They pitch the pitch, promise the best show
Speaker 6: your world and leave you in a mess.
Speaker 1: Its gobby yat em door.
Speaker 2: Let the buyer.
Speaker 3: Beware, Let the buyer beware, Let the buyer beware.
Speaker 1: Let's the buyer beware.

Speaker 16: we're having. Yes, yes, of course, choose wisely.
Speaker 15: My friend.
Speaker 14: Yes, yes, very very good.
Speaker 16: That song kind of made me realize that, boy, I'm
Speaker 16: lucky that I work with some pretty talented friends because
Speaker 16: that one was all me.
Speaker 15: Oh okay, as you can tell, when.
Speaker 16: It's all me doing the bass and music and the lyrics,
Speaker 16: I find it not as musically inept. Is that a
Speaker 16: good way of saying it? More basic? Not much key
Speaker 16: changes going on. Okay, but maybe that's all you as
Speaker 16: a as a professional person in greatness that you are
Speaker 16: the thank you. Do you notice different kind of musical
Speaker 16: involvement some one songs to another because it's all to me.
Speaker 14: I listened to that.
Speaker 16: I'm kind of like, oh that sounds very raw, very yeah,
Speaker 16: but not as not as multi layered.
Speaker 14: Sure sure, well yes, I mean but maybe again I'm
Speaker 14: thinking too much into it. Well, I mean, you know,
Speaker 14: if it sounds good, it sounds good. I do think that.
Speaker 16: Uh.
Speaker 14: You know, obviously some of these songs you've collaborated with others.
Speaker 14: But do you still collaborate with someone who shall not
Speaker 14: be named?
Speaker 32: Is that?
Speaker 16: Is that still a so I I collaborate with DJ

Speaker 16: your basement or whatever you do?
Speaker 32: Do it?
Speaker 15: Yeah, time short my friends? Yes, yes, yes, yeah, So
Speaker 15: that's kind of like the mantra of cave no cop
Speaker 15: dim car.
Speaker 12: Yes.
Speaker 15: Do you know any other latins?
Speaker 14: Uh, let's see, I'm trying to think a lot of them.
Speaker 16: Yeah, there's so many that I've gone blank that I've
Speaker 16: gone blank myself. Yeah, me too, me too, copy dium
Speaker 16: on amn a pia.
Speaker 14: I've heard I've heard that word, but.
Speaker 15: Am a pia is?
Speaker 12: That's not Latin.
Speaker 14: No, it sounds like something. It sounds like something you
Speaker 14: order it olive garden or something.
Speaker 12: It's not not a pizza.
Speaker 16: Aa is the word meaning like when you watch like Batman,
Speaker 16: A word that makes it like pa wam Oh right
Speaker 16: right right, I know, Well maybe it's not Latin, but
Speaker 16: it's a pretty cool word.
Speaker 32: Right.
Speaker 15: Yeah. That's a song on the I didn't send that over.

Speaker 26: Ish.
Speaker 15: Wow, it's great though, Green grass and high ties forever.
Speaker 16: Did you say, yeah, yes, if you get that reference,
Speaker 16: that's an old job boy, Yeah, yeah, Matt.
Speaker 15: What is what's your.
Speaker 16: First world problem of the week? What can you can
Speaker 16: you help me? You're gonna write a song right here
Speaker 16: with me, right now. Ive, what is your first war
Speaker 16: problem that you are having besides the video not working
Speaker 16: to it? Well, that's that's a big one, Okay. That
Speaker 16: frustrates me. Yeah, okay, so do you wanna do you
Speaker 16: want to do a rap to that?
Speaker 14: Let's see? Do you want me to freestyle something?
Speaker 15: How is your freestyling?
Speaker 19: Ah?
Speaker 15: I love it. I loved being terrible at it, but
Speaker 15: I love it. Yeah. Do you have any drums that
Speaker 15: you could pop up on here? Any beats?
Speaker 14: I don't know, uh that that might be possible.
Speaker 15: Yeah, I wow, See I thought about this. Maybe I
Speaker 15: should change you a beat track to play. See.
Speaker 14: I think if I if I try to freestyle, I'll
Speaker 14: you got it. I'll be Uh.
Speaker 16: So your first world problem is your video is not
Speaker 16: working in the studio. That is the first world problem.
Speaker 14: I I can tell you that.
Speaker 19: Uh.
Speaker 14: You know, I do have an alter ego, but he's
Speaker 14: long retired. M sizzle really yeah, M sizzle wow? Really
Speaker 14: nasty beef with hammer Yeah.
Speaker 16: Mc stovetop is my rap name. Oh yeah, and there's
Speaker 16: a song on there called cross Contamination. You want to
Speaker 16: play that? Okay, that's a great segue.
Speaker 15: Yeah.
Speaker 16: Mc stovetop has not put out any music yet. Oh
Speaker 16: but he's all about cooking you see.
Speaker 14: Oh really?
Speaker 15: Yes, didn't we go down a cooking phase for a
Speaker 15: couple of times? With the area. Didn't we do did we?
Speaker 14: Oh?
Speaker 16: Recipe song? Yes, his recipe song?
Speaker 14: Did we do that here? Did we play those here?
Speaker 15: Oh?
Speaker 14: Really?
Speaker 16: Oh?
Speaker 14: Maybe we did? Okay? So, uh, you want to you want?
Speaker 14: You want to play? Cross contamination?
Speaker 15: Cross contamination?
Speaker 16: Is this is serious? Now, this is getting We have
Speaker 16: to be serious. It's a serious problem. Taking over a
Speaker 16: serious problem. It's been forever a cross contamination in the
Speaker 16: food service industries and food handling in particular. Yes, no,
Speaker 16: I'm gonna get serious. MC stovetop cross contamination. Five second rule?
Speaker 15: Boss?
Speaker 14: Really?
Speaker 15: Boss?
Speaker 14: Oh that's not good. It's not good news.
Speaker 16: Well, there's a lot of variables when it comes to
Speaker 16: the five second rule. The texture of the floor, the
Speaker 16: density of the floor, okay, the heat of the food
Speaker 16: falling on the floor, density of that okay.
Speaker 15: So five second may be okay, may not be okay, okay,
Speaker 15: but not good no matter.
Speaker 14: So better to err on the side of caution and
Speaker 14: not eat that.
Speaker 16: Uh if you've dropped like a fifty dollars Porterhouse steak
Speaker 16: on the floor for five seconds on this carpet in here.
Speaker 15: Yeah, oh that's a tough call.
Speaker 14: Can you just kinda wipe it off and h then
Speaker 14: shout out, well, what do you do?
Speaker 16: The correct internal temperature for steak is one hundred and
Speaker 16: fifty five degrees uh huh internal, but that boyzee. This
Speaker 16: this is play cross contamination. We'll discuss all right, yeah,
Speaker 16: all right, wow, wow, this is this is we've taken
Speaker 16: a turn empty stove top.
Speaker 14: Yes, okay, all right, cross contamination here it is.
Speaker 34: Don't touch this and don't touch that. Don't touch it again.
Speaker 34: That's cross contamination. Don't touch this, then touch that, don't
Speaker 34: touch it again. That's cross contamination. Cross cross cross cross contamination,
Speaker 34: cross cross cross cross contamination.
Speaker 11: Don't touch it.
Speaker 34: This is where the chicken stays away from the vegetables.
Speaker 34: Cross cross cross cross condamination, cross cross cross cross contamination
Speaker 34: to things that don't belong to get up cubes from
Speaker 34: the chicken and the carrot.
Speaker 1: Keep them separate, separated.
Speaker 15: You will not get cross contamination.
Speaker 34: Cross cross gross cross gross contamination, cross frock comination, cross
Speaker 34: cross cross, fross condamnation, cross cross cross cross contamination, cross
Speaker 34: cross cross fross condamn cross cross cross cross condamination.
Speaker 15: Now that's a nice quick right to it. I like
Speaker 15: those songs. Yeah, the more you know the five second
Speaker 15: rule cross contamination Yeah, there we go.
Speaker 16: That's gonna be I think that's gonna be a project, Matt. Okay,
Speaker 16: the Food Handler's Guide to Success.
Speaker 14: Yeah, that's that's good. That's good. See, got a good idea.
Speaker 16: This is amazing that I come here in your greatness, right,
Speaker 16: thank you? Yes, and inspiration comes yes to us.
Speaker 14: Yes, as you bask. Uh, the inspiration comes ask yes,
Speaker 14: and you can bask for more than five seconds and
Speaker 14: it's fine depending. Wow.
Speaker 15: There's a lot of variables.
Speaker 16: Like I said, yes, the whole uh, the whole cross
Speaker 16: contamination thing is is running runs rampant.
Speaker 14: Now if I so, like say, I spill a delicious
Speaker 14: beverage on the floor, You're not gonna lick it off
Speaker 14: the floor? Well, but what if I do it within
Speaker 14: five seconds? I get down, I lap it up like
Speaker 14: a cat and like super quick. No wow, and oh no,
Speaker 14: So that that would be an example of a bad
Speaker 14: no five second rule in that case, no liquid on
Speaker 14: a floor.
Speaker 16: No, okay, what's a lollipop falling on a floor? Brought
Speaker 16: up and rinsed off? But this is going down a
Speaker 16: rabbit hole. Yeah, yeah, let's go. Let's go back to
Speaker 16: carpe DM something positive. Did you find the beat. Oh,
Speaker 16: I have a find a beat. I found something. Oh
Speaker 16: oh boy, Oh this sounds like it's got a medicine.
Speaker 16: You ready, Matt. I'm on the Matt Connaton Show. Things
Speaker 16: are going good, don't you know? I'm shrelling with the bro.
Speaker 8: You know that.
Speaker 16: I go, I only got five more minutes and I
Speaker 16: gonna get kicked off the show. Yo, yo, Matt Goat,
Speaker 16: I think I got Matt song.
Speaker 15: It's really not a song.
Speaker 16: Here we go again, Matt, lay it down, brother goat.
Speaker 14: I think I need uh, I think I need my
Speaker 14: energy right to do this.
Speaker 16: I'm on the Mad Connotent Show, and.
Speaker 15: Connotin show.
Speaker 14: Em says not much of what you're gonna do.
Speaker 16: MA doesn't go how a free stop. He's got the choice,
Speaker 16: he's got the joy. He brings it all down, you
Speaker 16: know the score.
Speaker 14: Yeah, you're not really rhyming pretty much?
Speaker 15: Does it really matter if I'm rhyming on not? It's
Speaker 15: just that I'm looking good.
Speaker 14: That's tough, lot, Lot, Oh, now that's there, you go, Lot.
Speaker 15: I like that you're putting me on the spot.
Speaker 1: Matt.
Speaker 15: That's okay, it don't matter. I'm ready to play. I'm
Speaker 15: ninety five free w m nh. Here we go. Matt
Speaker 15: Connatin for gonnas say you.
Speaker 14: Not bad, not bad, not bad, You're not Kendrick Lamar,
Speaker 14: not bad.
Speaker 16: Kendrick Lamart the worst super Bowl of all time? Bring
Speaker 16: back stick, play some blue collar man. Then people will
Speaker 16: go yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the player.
Speaker 12: Oh old man.
Speaker 2: Why do you know?
Speaker 11: That was a great super Bowl show?
Speaker 15: I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Kendrick Lamar. I
Speaker 15: think he shook it a little too far. Why can't
Speaker 15: we go.
Speaker 16: Back to some rock and rolling goes down the way
Speaker 16: that the Patriots told us.
Speaker 15: YouTube?
Speaker 14: I thought she had another verse, but go on, you
Speaker 14: got nothing?
Speaker 31: All right?
Speaker 14: Very good, very good. Wow, that was quite a surprise.
Speaker 14: You should you should do a hip hop album?
Speaker 15: Why old people like Yiddish people like myself?
Speaker 14: Well I do.
Speaker 15: I am influenced by it.
Speaker 16: Absolutely, yeah, absolutely, as much as I hate to admit it, it's.
Speaker 14: Well I hate to admit it. I mean, you know,
Speaker 14: but it's there.
Speaker 15: It's it's let's not get start, it's it's Music's music.
Speaker 15: Do what you love?
Speaker 14: Yeah?
Speaker 16: Absolutely no in comedy, but it's like everything goes back
Speaker 16: to Monty Python, George Carlin, Cheech and Shong Yep, that's
Speaker 16: my that's the Big Three.
Speaker 15: Henny Youngman, got any more to throw.
Speaker 14: Any young man? Wow, you're really going back.
Speaker 16: Rodney Dangerfield, Sam Kenniston. But Monty Python to me, yeah
Speaker 16: is uh, I don't know why we're going off for
Speaker 16: the money.
Speaker 14: Well, the thing about money Python is it's it's uh
Speaker 14: kind of timeless in the sense that people of any age,
Speaker 14: any generation will get into Python, whereas I would not
Speaker 14: say that about, for example, Henny Youngman. I'm guessing people
Speaker 14: even a day younger than myself don't even know who
Speaker 14: any young man is, you know what I mean? That's okay,
Speaker 14: And I think I think Rodney danger feeling like a
Speaker 14: lot of people don't know who sticks is.
Speaker 12: Yeah.
Speaker 14: Yeah, but so you want to see us six at
Speaker 14: the Super Bowl?
Speaker 16: If they played blue yeah, thank you? Yeah yeah, if
Speaker 16: they played like blue collar man, yeah right now, if
Speaker 16: that would bring the house down there Kendrick jumping around
Speaker 16: like an idiot, Come on.
Speaker 14: I thought it was great.
Speaker 15: Really thought it was what planet were you on?
Speaker 16: You were watching We Want to we want to Nacho
Speaker 16: Overload or something that was awesome.
Speaker 14: Yeah.
Speaker 12: I loved the dance sequences, and I think during the
Speaker 12: whole what they were doing. One of the things I
Speaker 12: said to that was, I'm I'm loving this. It's not
Speaker 12: a bunch of scantily cloud women.
Speaker 16: I was looking for. Maybe I'm a purist. I didn't
Speaker 16: see a drummer, a guitar player, a bass player.
Speaker 26: Yeah.
Speaker 16: Yeah, so we just have to suspend disbelief that that
Speaker 16: music is coming off of just stop, don't be so.
Speaker 12: I've seen somebody play a viola through looping.
Speaker 15: Excuse me.
Speaker 12: Music comes in all forms.
Speaker 14: It does.
Speaker 16: And speaking of it, I saw Ace free the other
Speaker 16: night up in Portland. People there, what a train wreck
Speaker 16: it was?
Speaker 14: Yeah, well that actually what it was an experience.
Speaker 15: He didn't come on till midnight.
Speaker 14: Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I won't bother
Speaker 14: to go.
Speaker 15: Didn't come on till midnight.
Speaker 14: But how was they to attend?
