All the best, Jarry, Welcome everybody. Here we go. It is
that time again, Matt Connerton unleashed and we're live from the studios of w
m n H ninety five point three FM in glorious downtown Manchester, New Hampshire.
Also on Comcast ninety seven if you're in Manchester, and hello to all
of our online listeners across the nation and around the globe. You can go
to my website Matt Connerton dot com for all your live streaming options, social
media links, contact info, show archives, etcetera, etcetera. Today is
Tuesday, July eleven, two thousand twenty three, and I am not alone.
It's been a long time. But at the newsdesk, Kyle Clayton is
here. How are you good? How are you? I missed this desk
so much. Oh. Speaking of dulcet tones, you know, I'm very
envious of your voice. I appreciate that you got that deep voice. Someone
recently compared me to Kermit the Frog. It was very hurtful. Yeah,
I disagree. This is a smoking and depression that's what this is my voice.
Oh see, that's where I miss I have the I struggle with depression,
but I never took up smoking. Maybe maybe I made a terrible mistake.
Maybe I should have. You know, I'm started smoking, yeah,
with a leather jacket. I thought it looked cool at the time. But
well, yeah, while it does mean, let's be honest, I mean,
you're kind of not supposed to say that, but the truth is,
it does look pretty cool if you're wearing a leather jacket while smoking. And
I mean anything with a leather jacket really, but yes, yes, just
about a little too hot for lear jackets today. But see, I actually
help people quit smoking. I'm a hypnotherapist, and that's the number one thing
that people come to me for. But uh, but I don't use my
Kermit the frog like a voice, as someone recently told me. For that.
I sat in my tone, and I tell you that you might be
feeling very deeply relaxed and very comfortable and very calm, and soon you will
be a permanent, committed non smoker. You know I talk like that.
I'm already better. See, I just I just secured you. I fixed
you up. I needed good fix things. Yes, yes, I envy
your voice, and I envy your hair. You've got great hair. I
appreciate that. I was I was. It's not that it reminded me of
you specifically, but I was looking. It showed up in my Facebook feed.
There was a gentleman here in Manchester who I don't even remember his name.
He committed some sort of crime or something, and uh, young guy
I think, I think probably early twenties. But but he got he got
caught, he got arrested for something. And I'm looking at his mugshot and
the dude had the most incredible hair, and I'm thinking, how could somebody
with hair like that enter a life of crime. I just appreciate that the
early twenties compliment, so thank you for that. Yeah, yeah, well
no, I but what I'm saying is, no, I get Yeah,
if you have the hair you've got that, you've got you you've got quite
the main. But the guy I saw in the picture, man he had
he had like soap opera star hair. What was this crime? Do you
remember? I don't even remember. I think he might have killed somebody or
something. I don't know, who knows, But the point is the dude
had the hair like if you have hair like this guy had, I wonder
if if anyone listening and even knows might have also seen this on Facebook.
It was just I think yesterday. I think it was just yesterday, might
have been the day before and and and just like to have the kind of
hair that this man had, it's like a superpower. It's like, how
could you, how could you enter a life of crime when you when you
have hair like that? There's too many opportunities for you to, yeah,
go down the dark road this this, but there's too many great things you
can do with that kind of hair, you know. And and uh,
you know, and I would imagine with hair like that too, it'll be
very popular in prison. So uh so there is that. So see,
that's where entering a life of crime not only completely unnecessary when you have hair
like that, but also a detriment once you end up in the Who's Cow?
And you get it? Yeah you don't you know? You whoscow?
Yes? And it's a double untnge. I believe it's you don't want the
Who's Scout and the Who's Cow? I don't know who scow is, but
yeah, it's another term for jail or prison. I don't even remember where
I've heard it, but I think it's a great word. And uh,
I only hear it used. Maybe once every five or six years, I'll
hear someone use it, and I always go, we need more of that,
We need more of that word. If he didn't like perfected the hair
flip, you really don't have to work a day in your life. Oh
yeah yeah uh. And he probably he had probably never thought to try that,
because if he had done the hair flip, then he would have realized,
I don't need I don't need all this crim in. That's like I
don't like an NFL player, like all the talent in the world, and
they have a domestic violence or something waste of talent, you know, yeah,
yeah, exactly exactly, or they like the uh the guy who won
the lottery and then he shoved his head into a wood chipper. You know,
it's like that. Just throw it away. Yeah, I give us
someone who can use it properly. Yeah yeah, google that. By the
way, if you don't believe me, just google a lottery winner would chipper?
Oh I was gonna google sexy hair criminal but yeah, yeah, you
could google that too. But I think it was it was on. I
think it was on. Yeah, I'm tempted to try to find it.
I think it was on Manchester Information on Facebook. This was a local guy
and uh or at least oh jeez, I came right up. I type
in Manchester information, it came right up. Um. Yeah. Arrest made
after road rage shooting incident. Jason Talbot is his name, and Jason is
bell j A. Y S O. N. Jason Talbot has been charged
with first degree assault with a firearm and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.
And for those of you watching online, I will I will hold up the
uh uh if you can see it. There's no way to zoom in.
But I'm I'm holding my phone up. Did you see it? Do you
see him? I'm no, I don't have I'm just on Facebook. You
know what I can actually share? Okay, I'm gonna share this out to
I went straight to Google. But now I'm so intrigued. It's not letting
me share it. Jason, what are you doing? Did you find it?
I'm working mad, I used all my data. I'm not gonna it's
a little slower, but yeah, well a Facebook is being super glitchy for
me. It's not letting me share it, right Manchester. Yeah, I'll
figure it out. Yeah, I believe you. I feel like you're for
a hair talent. Oh wait a minute, here we go. I'm gonna
send it to you in messenger, Kyle Clayton. There we go, boom.
I'd share it to the Unleashed Facebook page, but I don't think it'll
let me because Facebook has been very difficult. Let me try one more time.
Did you get it? Incredibly? It's like a lions made That dude's
got the hair right, and he's got like this little sixty pound going on.
I know, I know, he's got like the facial features. He
looks like he reminds me of somebody. He reminds me of an actor.
I also just shared it to the Matt Connerton Unleashed Facebook page. Uh yeah,
oh yeah, people are finding it. Mike from Queen City Cabitr.
He says, beautiful hair, although he might be talking about you. And
Alex Whiteley says looks like a young Carl Urban. If he was in Seattle
in the nineties, he would have crushed the grunge seat. Oh totally yeah,
yeah, Actually he kind of looks like if Eddie Vedder And um,
the Soundgarden guy who's dead, Um, what the hell is his name?
The guy from Soundgarden Anyway, if those two guys had a baby, it
would be him. That's a good looking baby. Yeah, I know,
right. Can you imagine having hair like that and those facial features and saying,
I'm going to wreck my life with crime and the worst kind of crime.
I mean top five for sure, but yeah, that's uh yeah,
I mean that's like a low tier. I would um if I see,
if I were going to do crime, I would do like uh, I
would want to be like an international crime lord, but I'd keep my identity
secret. And while doing crime, I would wear a black leather body suit
guster because I'd want to be like, no, like a skin tight black
leather because I'd want to be like a super villain that if it's worth doing,
it's worth doing, right, you're gonna do it exactly. But yeah,
yeah, you know what I am. I'll take the duster and I
think I'll just go embezzlement, tax fraud probably sure. I don't know how
to do taxes, so that's probably why, right, right, Yes,
Well but you did it right, Well, no, I didn't do it,
but that was a hypothetical. I don't want to give up too much
to my hypothetical plans. Dj C says Chris Cornell, thank you. I
don't know what I was liking on his name. Yeah, Chris Cornell.
Yeah, if Chris Cornell and Eddie Vetter had a baby, it would be
that guy in that picture, that Jason Talbot guy. Check out his hair.
You know. I almost want to help him. I almost want to
do a fundraiser for him, which would involve hiring him a good attorney and
a and like a life coach. Honestly, I think his punchman should be
instead of the death sentence, you just you put him in the chair and
you donate his hair to somebody who deserves that. Oh, I said,
so that would be so you would? You would. That's how you could
punish him. You'd give it to somebod who wants it, deserves it.
Right, it's a it's a waste of talent, right right. I'm not
saying murder the man, but right, yeah, hair deserves to be on
a better scalp. Yeah yeah, I agree. But he could just grow
it back too. Yeah, but he's got that pout too. He's it's
the it's the whole nine yards. Oh yeah, yeah, he's got it
all. He's got it all. I'll tell you. Oh well, Jason
Talbot, figure it out, buddy, figure it out. We're here for
you, man. I mean, you know, i'd be will have him
on the show if he wants to come on. We can kind of do
an intervention with him, try to give him some life advice. Not love
advice that's on the Morning show of course on Fridays, but some life advice.
Well, of course the love advice does include life advice, and uh
and maybe some hair advice too. You know, I think we would get
the hair advice because I get well, yeah, that's true. He could
give us hair advice. We could give him advice about how to benefit from
his hair. I don't think he does anything. I think that's how he
wakes up. Maybe I did another hair flipping here, he's ready for the
day. You know, there's there's nothing better for your hair than its natural
oils anyway, so he probably doesn't do anything to it. Um you really
like I've known people who've grown dreadlocks. Who who's we'll see who's coming in
later, Yeah yeah, yeah, who say that? You know, basically
you have to not wash your hair ever, and but that's actually good for
your hair. I do twice a week. I mean I always rinse it
out, but yeah yeah with the chemicals that all natural what I put in
there. Yeah yeah, yeah, I wash mine every other day. I
don't wash it every day. You should not wash your hair every day.
It'll dry it out with that that te thing. I forget the company.
But oh t gel, I mean it smells like minty te. I know
what you're talking about. Oh h oh yeah, yeah yeah, I truly
can't remember right now. I do know what you're talking about though. A
lot of volume though. Is a trussome? That sounds right? Yeah?
Yeah it does, doesn't it? I could, I can picture of the
bottle actually yeah yeah, trusame pretty expensive, but h yeah, I mean
it's an investment. There was a time I had hair like all the way
down to my lower back. Oh I saw, I've seen your your band
pictures. They're incredible. Oh yeah, thank you. Yeah. But I
like in high school, I let it get really long. I just will,
and I don't remember when I actually cut it, but yeah, I
was down to almost my hip. Yeah, but that's it's too much to
maintain. It's a it's a real commitment. Yeah, yeah, you've got
almost almost a mullet thing going, but now it's loose. Yeah. Yeah,
the headphones don't help. But yeah, I was going for a mullet,
the lace, classy mullet you could get. I just one of people
that just shake their head when they saw me, right, I don't know.
It was a good idea at the time. Well, we should mention
you alluded to it. We've got the try Combs coming in in the second
hour. And you know those guys, I've seen them a couple of times.
Yes, my best good Friendy and he actually adopted me in high school.
I his son. Oh um, he is the bass player. He
was the first I was in the band, the first band I was ever
in with him, So I'm very safe to be with. That was punk
and now they're They're honestly one of the most original bands I've heard in a
long time. So yeah, we played something of theirs yesterday and I've got
um, I've got a couple of songs skewed up for today for you know,
when they come in at the top of the hour, because they're gonna
be playing live in studio for us, so they might need a few minutes
to set up. So I had a couple of songs skewed up for the
break and uh really looking forward to hearing them live. Um, I'm intrigued
in the studio at least. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they bring the
heat. Ooh, it's already a hot day, but this room is somewhat
air conditioned. It's actually beautiful. And are compared outside? Oh compared outside,
yeah, I got got got very humid, very weak, very humid.
Um. Oh yeah, well it could be worse like in Vermont.
Like I see Melanie Law Liberty from Vermont is in the chat room and uh
boy, they're having it like mon peeler. Have you seen that the flooding
Well just by her page alone, it's yeah, it's bananas. Oh yeah,
like small creeks are rivers down. I got nervous. I don't know.
You might have heard me talk about it on the air, but I
got it wasn't last week because we weren't here, so it must have been
the week before. There was a day that it started raining really really hard
here and by the way, the loudest thunder I've ever heard in my life.
And I'm getting ready to leave the house to come do the show,
and I do the bulk of my show prep at home, so but I
try to get here no later than three thirty. Here it was like I
was running in here, in here, like ten minutes of four. But
but it started just the sky opened up and it was pouring in the thunder,
and I'm standing on the porch waiting for it to let up a little
bit so I can get to the car. I don't care if I get
wet, but I bring my own computer with me, which I bring in
that bag, which is not exactly waterproof. So I'm standing on the porch
and it's raining so hard. I'm like, oh my god, it's got
to let up a little bit. I just needed to let up a little
bit. I want to make sure I don't get the computer wet. And
the mistake that I made was I kept waiting and waiting and waiting, thinking
it was going to let up, and it wasn't letting up. And then
finally I'm looking at the time, I'm like, I gotta go. I
gotta go now, I can't wait anymore. And then as soon as I
get out onto the street, I'm like, um, there is an unusual
amount of water on the road. And I go up a big hill to
get, you know, and then I go down a big hill and there's
even going even at the top of the hill, like the water is pooling
on the street, basically surfing you. Yeah, And then I get to
I get to the bottom of m I'll never learn the street names. Is
that Kelly Street where the right eight is, you know, the right ad
on the west side? Yeah, I also don't know. I know exactly
what you're talking about. I'm not a good street I know landmarks, so
yet the yeah, the same with me. Yeah, I have like a
mental block with street names. I get to the but I get to the
bottom of that hill to come to that big intersection there where you know,
I go through the intersect, get on the bridge to come over to this
side of the city, and uh. I get to that intersection and and
I'm coming down that hill and I'm like, oh no, there's a lot
of I mean, it was it looked like it might get up to the
top of the tires. That's yeah, and that's your And I was already
approaching the intersection. I was already committed. I had no it was too
late to find an alternate route to get here. You're in hypothetical God's hands.
At that point, I was I was in hypothetical God's hands. Would
you would you drive if you don't ask? Yeah, it's it's a low
kind of low to the ground. It's a Nissan Versa. I used to
have a Jeep and in that moment I wished I'd still had it. But
uh, yeah, the Versa, it's kind of low. Um, great
car, really good on gas mileage. But that's good, yea in this
situation. But in this situation, it was a little scary and getting over
you know. So I got through the intersection okay, but um, and
then it was a little better on the bridge, and then Elm Street was
okay. I mean, you know, the water was pooling a little bit,
but it wasn't bad and I was able to get to the parking garage
no problem. But that was the scariest part of it. But it was
like, jeez, I think, uh, you know, I may have
narrowly escaped a flash flood. And then like right after I got here it
finally stopped raining. But no, it was it was a trerenchial downport.
Oh yeah, yeah, what you said about the loudest thunder, it's especially
in Elm Street because it just bounces off all the buildings. It's yeah,
especially loud. Well, this was like when I was still at home,
when I was while I was on the porch waiting for the rain to let
up. It was like I never in my life heard thunder that loud.
So just incredible. And I actually love a good storm. I actually it's
calming when you're inside. Well, yeah, I like being inside for it.
Yeah, yeah, just enjoying. Yeah, enjoying what other people are
not enjoying. But not when I'm on a porch waiting to get off of
the porch with your not water proof back and your computer. It's terrible.
Yes, yes, it was a little dicey, A little dicey. Now
are you um, I've been hearing you again on the morning show. Are
you were working your way back in? Are you doing like one or two
days a week or what? Are you know? What are you doing?
I never left. I just i'd work at the back room, and it's
it's been full swing with the graduation, m Father's Day, it was a
whole I like to sleep that I'm not gonna lie. Yeah, seven am
stuff. Yeah, and other Matt is he's always punctual, so yeah,
he's always holding down the ford. But I am still there full time as
much as I can be. Yeah. Yeah, Um, I would imagine
at the back room because it seems like nobody has enough help, so I
would imagine it's pretty pretty hectic there. We are just any warm body,
which is not ideal. But yes, it's very hectic. We've lost one
guy, no, one guy this week, two guys in the last two
weeks. Oh, no kidding. I just can't handle it. Yeah,
I mean I would like free money too, but you gotta right. Yeah,
and it's a great company to work for. But it's a very high
volume. So yeah, see you got a hustle while you're there. I
can't need to chess. But yeah, this I mean as lucrative as the
wh I gotta have a second job, unfortunately. Yes, yes, now
I understand. Well, there's not much money in radio. Howard Stern took
it all. Yeah, he's none left over. I was if I was
born. How old is he now? He's up there right, Howard is
pushing seven day If I was born his time, Yeah, maybe I would
have capitalized. But damage is done. Speaking of great hair, huh,
not incredible hair. He's not lost a lock. Well don't, don't.
I'm thinking of like fifties Howard at this point. Oh yeah, yeah,
yeah, yeah, of course, yeah, no, he Yeah, in
his fifties he's still had great I mean, you know, he's got great
hair now for a man his age. But I he claims it's real,
I'm gonna I'm not gonna argue. I'd like to like to believe. I
have a lot of things to believe it at this point, So I like
to believe that Howard Stern's hair is genuine. Yes, yes, Well,
we have to believe in something exactly, we might as well believe in Howard's
sterns Sarah, if you'd like to join us today. Kyle Clayton is here
with us on the show, and we've got the try Combs coming up in
the second hour. But the studio line is open six zo three two five
six seven six zo three two five O six zero seven. You can text
me at six one seven nine one seven four four seven six. I'm on
social media at Matt Connerton. You can email me Matt at Matt Connerton dot
com, and of course you can interact endo Pine in the Facebook live chat.
But the best thing to do so that we can hear and enjoy your
dulcet tones. Is to give us a call at six zo three two five
O six zo seven and I need a puff of mine, Hiller. Can
you hear that I'm wheezing my allergies. I've had the worst allergy season of
my life. I think it's yeah, the rain and stuff gets kicking everything
up. Oh, you do have the nihiler on deck, good man,
I have to. This is the asthma. Now I feel bad and I'm
just I'm self induced wheezing from the I'm a smoker, weird. Now,
how much how much do you smoke? I would say a half a pack
a day. It's not too bad. I okay, that's yeah. That's
a lot less than a lot of people. Yeah yeah. I mean if
you just twenty in a back twenty four hours in a day, and I
try not to, I mean one every two hours, that's I don't know.
And they have those new vape things and stuff that helps too. But
that's how Jenny had quit vaping, and then and then eventually she's a squid
vaping. Well, it's a problem for me. Is they have a blue
raspberry. I don't know if you know, but blue raspberry is the best
flavor for anything. Popsicles. I don't like popsicles. That's a that's a
wild, wild take, but des throne. Even when I was a kid,
I didn't like popsicles. They get like they get your hands all sticky
and they melt freeze pops there they are contained in the plastic true jelly rancher
blue raspberry. All right, man, Well it means it's it's it's it's
not for you, it's yeah, yeah, I understand. Yeah, I'm
not trying to justify it, but yeah, it does help me cut down
substantially. So how old were you when you started smoking ums my family?
Fourteen? I think, Yeah, that seems to be believe it or not.
Just from clients I talked to you, that seems to be about average
cool. Most most people seem to that's when they starts when they're they're kids.
I really didn't even want I just wanted the bad boy image and I
didn't Yeah, I didn't even want that. I didn't even know what the
results were. Yeah, like the benefits which are small and slim. But
see, I actually tried smoking once in high school. I was hanging out
with my friend Sean Kemp, who I might might even be listening hi,
And um, I don't remember where it was. We were in the McDonald's
parking lot on South Main Street and conquered after school one day. I think
might have been on a weekend. But I was curious because he was a
smoker, and I, um, I was. I didn't want to take
it up as a habit because I knew it was bad for you, but
I was curious, what is it about it that's so great that when someone
starts smoking, they want to keep smoking. So I said, Sean,
can I just try a cigarette? I figured if I just tried it,
I'm not gonna get hooked on at just trying it. But I just I
had this curiosity. So he gave me one, and um, He's like,
you gott to inhale it, because I'm like, you know, he
lit it up for me and everything, and then he hands it to me
and I'm like, just like trying to puff on it and I don't even
know what I'm doing. He's like, you got to inhale it and then
blow it out. And when I did that, um, honestly, I
found the taste of it so revolting. I felt, I felt as though
I had just put a spoonful of dirt in my mouth and I and I
so to this day, I don't get it like I was, and I
never did it again. I was like, this is so gross. You're
not wrong. I mean, I guess, yeah, I paid well,
it was also substantially cheaper, but yeah, I paid a lot of money
for dirt in my mouth at this point. Yeah, yeah, it's it's
not ideal, but I don't know. I thought I was actually the opposite
you. I thought I wouldn't I couldn't get addicted. I was better than
that. Oh jokes on me. It's super addicting, yes, yes,
but it is more psychological than physical. Yeah, it's an oral fixation,
yeah for me. But yeah, but people don't like to hear that that.
But I mean, don't get me wrong. It is chemically addictive.
It is, uh, you do get physically addicted to it. But it's
yeah, like like if I get in a cart when I did drive before
I lost the card in the divorce, I need a cigarette. If I,
I don't know, leave work then need a cigarette. There's certain triggers
that, yeah, perpetuate that. But yeah, I wouldn't recommend it.
Yeah, it's not financially savvy. No, it's very expensive. It's expensive
in many ways. But yeah, when people tell me what they're paying for
cigarettes too, it's like wow, not not when I started. It's it's
almost doubled. But I mean, if you're in New York, it's like
almost twenty bucks a packets and that's not for a cart, like a big
cart, and that's for a pack That's incredible. Wow, what a world.
I think. Our friend Fredo is on the line, or as I
like to call him his full name, Alfredo Enrique Benavitis. Hello, Hey,
good afternoon. How are you guys? Good? How are you good?
You know you just you guys are talking, and it really reminded me
of when I was a kid in the eighties. We had candy cigarettes.
I remember those. I remember those, yea, and like you know,
you give them the kids, and kids would pretend that it would be like
this sugar powder and you could like you would blow out instead of blow in.
But it would make us like a like a fake candy smoke. Yep,
you know what I'm talking about? Yes, oh absolutely, yeah.
I think like there's this other component, right, it's not just physically addictive
or psychologically addictive in the terms of an oral fixation, but it's also socially.
It's cool. People look cool when they smoke cigarettes. It's always thought
it looked cool. I used to have a cigarette hanging out of my mouth
and I play my guitar, and right, it looked cool. Man,
Ye smoke disigarette, you know, like you know, these guys in movies
and adds, they made it. They made it look like it was cool.
Oh yeah, Joe Cammell was was the coolest. He was a camel
with a letter jacket again. Yeah, and and they had to cancel him
because the kids thought he was too cool. Oh yeah, yeah, totally.
Fortunately, a lot of that's a lot of that's gone away over the
years, and it has been replaced by somewhat of a stigma and and rates
of There's actually fewer people smoking now, I think, than than in the
last several decades. So it's it's slowly that whole cool factor has has slowly
dissipated. Yeah. Cool. Europe's got it right with anti actual pictures of
the damage that's done. Oh yeah, that's that's a that's a smart move.
Yes, not a cool camel in a leather jacket. That's not cool
exactly. Well, you know, like they probably remember what they eliminated,
Smokey the care Bear. Smokey the care Bear. I don't remember that.
It okay, I couldn't tell you. You got me, you got me.
They're afraid of guy. But you know, George Lucas, George Lucas
had to digitally remove all the smoking ewalks. They they've gone to great length
destroy the tobacco lobby. That's what I'm saying. Yes, yes they have.
It's not fair. They've made us, they've made society less cool.
We used to die and accept it in their coolness. Bury me in the
leather jacket and stuff. You know, No, not anymore, not anymore,
probably because they all died. Yeah, it's not cool, but that's
almost like it's society starts to value people over profiting from from from from death.
That's crazy. Well it started, but we're still a long way from
that being the norm, unfortunately. Actually I remember now though, even like
even when I was a kid, I remember there there's an episode of Happy
Days where the Funds, who, of course the epitome of cool, was
very upset. Was very upset when he found out that Janie had started smoking
cigarettes. That was a very special happy day. Yes, so happy,
and he jumped to Sharks like he knows what cool exactly. M But I
think it's it's been gone from I mean, it's it's gone from from everywhere.
It's been removed from from from TV, from movies. Um. I
think you know, like there there was even like kind of government money that
was going out to like if you could qualify to say that, you know,
you were anti tobacco, you'd get a certain amount of money or whatever.
You know, if you you can make a going pains plot about how
you know the cigarettes were bad or whatever. You know. I don't know,
like there's there's been a big push to to to make it on.
I mean it's been pretty successful. Also. I think people nowadays they'll cross
that social barrier of just telling a perfect stranger, hey, you know,
they'll kill you. You know, like like that would have been rude back
in the day. Just didn't do it. Yeah, you just let kind
of let people alone. I grew up there were smoking sections in restaurants,
yes, which didn't really help at all. It was like it was it
was there was there a barrier. Was there another room, No, it
was just you know, table five through seven at Denny's that was the smoking
section. And I think you know, the the you know, service people,
service people, you know had taken enough abuse. It was bad enough
that they're underpaid, but now they got to smell your smoke, and and
they know they lobbied and now it's illegal to have smoking doors. You got
to go outside. Well, i'll tell you, Uh, my friend Dave
Wally is in the chat room. And Dave I'm sure remembers because he and
I went to high school together. Um, when we were in high school,
they actually had a smoking section at the high school. It was outside,
but there was this area where the smokers would hang out. Uh,
and it was it was a designated area specifically for that. I think that
as the years went on, they saw the actual damage that was being done.
Oh yeah, not okay, And I I was not trying to glamorize
it. I know, leather jackets and says are cool, but yeah,
yeah for how long? And then being dead is less cool? Exactly.
Yeah, that's really when it comes down too. Although if you're buried in
a leather jacket, that's pretty cool, that's right. Yeah, yeah,
dead dead people can't smoke either, that is true. I'm just I'm sorry,
I'm being an ass. I always like to just be that. I
don't know, but I want to call it because I remember that. I
remember that the candy cigarettes. So this one, oh yeah, the third
victory right that there's a social pressure too it victory is that the brand of
the candy cigarette victory? I don't remember. I don't remember the brand name,
do you, Fredo? I just remember the cigarettes themselves. I just
remember eating. I don't know if I remember them. What did you guys
when you first started smoking? What was your brand? Um? I started
with with my Bread's. I'm I'm a camel filter man. Now cowboy killer
yeah, and I'm not a cowboys so yeah. Oh and the camels,
yeah, don't do the unfiltered camels. Turkish goals. Oh, they were
fifty cents off and that was the I'm a frugal man. You know what.
I've always been fascinated by though, because as someone who's who's a non
smoker, I've always been fascinated by that there's so many different brands of cigarettes,
and different those brands have different types and and and and so it's this
whole big section behind the counter of every convenience store, and people when they're
buying their cigarettes, they're like, no, no, no, I want
that one. No, no, that brand over there with that label.
And I've always wondered, like, do they really all do they actually all
taste so different than can you do the PEPSI challenge? Yes? Can I
tell the difference between PEPs? That's pretty much what it is. Yeah.
Yeah, Well, I've always wondered, like do different brands give you different
types of cancer? Or what's like I want the best cancer right right?
You know, if you're gonna have cancer, you're gonna want the best tasting
right right and the most relaxing, right. You got to you gotta remember
that flavor country as many states in county of little parts of it, there's
no there's no one part of flavor Country that's like any other part of flavor
country. It's a big country to explore. Yes, lots of flavors.
I'm sorry, dad, like this conversation. No your field. Oh,
on Sundays when we have the the old time radio shows here at WMNH,
Yeah, you'll hear ads for chester Fields during those old time radio shows and
they're marketed, and they were marketed as the cigarettes the doctors felt were actually
good for You can't argue with the doctors, I guess not like four out
of five doctors say you should smoke, just your fields. If I don't
go to the doctor, I'm not sick. I just right. It's all
open to interpretation. But you're the doctor, and they diagnosed it. Yeah
you're sick. Yeah, so especially the smoking ones that recommend it. Cool
doctors though, yeah, they are. I like the I like being diagnosed
with things about a doctor smoking a cigarette wearing a black leather jacket. Yeah,
just an open heart surgery with Ashy Scott. I also, you know
you said that there was like fourteen was like the regular age. I started
at thirteen. Yeah. I think I quit when my daughter was born.
When when I was twenty seven, When my daughter was born, and I
got a divorce when I was like thirty four, and I got I started
smoking again, and then I quit again, and then I quit again last
year. It's been over a year. Oh okay, good good. How
did you quit? Uh? How did you quit each time that you quit?
What did you just quit or did you use a particular method. Oh
I I switched to straight dope marijuana all day, every day. Uh huh,
fair enough, smoke every day? Switch to Uh, I switched to
the vitamin snoop uh huh uh huh Yeah, and uh, I just obviously
like I enjoy smoking. I enjoyed the I think if I was really drunk
and my girlfriend wasn't around, I would have a cigarette. Yeah, But
I don't think I'll ever be addicted to it the way I was. I've
never I don't know. I'm at a place now where it's I smell cigarette
smoke and and it's it's disgusting to me, Like the smell of it is
just repulsive. That's good. Yeah, I'd have to be really drunk to
want to have one. Yea, though, you you did it, You're
out. You're in the clear, don't Yeah. Yeah, I feel I
feel like I'm in the clear, you know. Um. And I don't
know how I did it. I think I just kind of got tired of
like not being able to breathe and like packing up brown stuff every morning.
I'll do it just you know, having a hard time. It was like,
Yeah, I think it was just a strong, strong desire to to
to want to change, you know, not to say that there aren't you
know, people people who are addicted. That's the real thing, you know.
They And I think the definition of addiction is that you want to stop
but you can't. Absolutely, but I think the kid helps. Obviously any
kind of motivation will definitely benefit Yeah, oh yeah, of course absolutely.
About yeah, having a kid, it was like whoa, you know,
I don't want to had a bad example, and I'd like to be here
for my daughter. Yeah, and so that was a big motivation. When
I got a divorce, you know, that was very rough for me,
and I immediately I was not a good coping mechanism. It was a bad
coping mechanism. And so I found better ways to cope. And I will
say that, you know, right around the time that I quit smoking,
was around the time that I started, uh you know, seeing a therapist
for for you know, for life and also just kind of like changing.
I think as I was getting older, the reality of mortality kind of steps
in when you started getting around that fourth decade and uh and so yeah,
those things together, but you're absolutely rights something that whatever is going to give
you the motivation because you need that motivation to overcome the addiction. You know,
it makes you feel better. My dad always says the second marriage is
the best, so don't don't worry about the first advice. Nice, Yeah,
thanks thanks to dad. Like two Christmases though, Yeah, advice from
pop. I smoked those me. Hey, your dad's a Kiss fan,
so he must know some huge kids fan absolutely and a firefighters and a firefighter.
That's right, well, very good. I love Kiss was like when
Rock and Roll meant wrestling it that's what Kiss is like, pro wrestling with
Rock and Roll together. I remember thought of it quite that way, even
though I'm a big wrestling fan. But there was one actually, it's kind
of a blemish on Kiss his career in my view, when they did get
involved in wc W and they had that Kiss character, the demon who would
come out and wrestle, and that was actually really pretty bad. I didn't
like that. That was kind of awful. Fight that. Hey, Leather,
you know it is, Yes, No, I can't help it,
man TV TV seventies eighties Rock and Roll. I'm a sucker for it.
Mantroit Rock City, I I I put my piss man I rock out to
that stuff. Oh yeah, m hmm. And part of it is that
it was my dad's favorite band, So like there's that, you know,
kind of like I associate it with my father. You know, Kiss was
my dad's like number one favorite band, and um, so there's definitely some
of that, like a nostalgia to it because it's before a lot of it
was before my time. You know, they're there air kisses hey Day.
You know, I wasn't born till a three. Hey Day was like,
really the seventies you were born? You were born the year what what?
What? What? Very important Kiss album came out the year of your birth.
Do you know I'm gonna say hotter than hell? No? No,
I would have been your seventy I don't know, man. I was made
for loving you. No. Lick It Up. Lick It Up came out
in eighty three. That's for me. It took off the that's when we
took off with makeup, their first album without makeup. Yes, very a
very important moment, a pivotal moment in history. Very appropriate tongue for that
album. I like that. I think it hit dude, lick it Up
as it is definitely like a good sing along. Oh yeah, they have
good good choruses. I mean, Ace really was my favorite. I I
you know, that's probably like like the reason why I really respected their early
stuff. I just love those guitar risks. Yeah, Keene Simmons, like
I do. It's kind of a horrible person. And also his bass playing
and I'm saying this as a bassist. Dude, dude's bass playing are mid
But oh, I just Chris Peter, Chris is a great drummer. And
and you know, however, you feel about Paul, like the dude can
sing, you know what I mean. Yeah, they wrote great, great
hook for the record. I disagree with you about Gene Simmons. I think
he's very underrated as a bassist. You think so, I think so.
I think so if you listen to UM, especially on some of the early
stuff like Going Blind. You know that song, I love that song.
Bassline, His bassline on that song incredible, I think. Yeah, the
lyrics are weird, very odd lyrics. Actually, don't worry about that.
From that band from that song is I'm ninety three in year sixteen. Yeah,
the lyrics are odd, but I think I'm going blind. But that
bassline is incredible and you can really hear the Paul McCartney influence in that and
uh, that is I will give you that, sir, that song.
Yeah, yeah, if you've ever heard the Melvin Crush a cover of that,
yes, I have heard that. They do an amazing cover. Yes,
I do love that song that is from Hotter than Hell? That that
that song. Yes, Dave Wally and the Chat Room says, didn't Carol
Ka play a lot of those bass lines? I think in the uh in
the eighties when Gene wasn't around much because he was making movies. Actually a
number of people played, uh filed in for Gene on those albums, but
but in the in the original for a lot of people and the yeah,
in the original makeup air that was that was all Gene. Um, you
know, she gave him lessons. And I don't know if she was on
any records though, Yeah, I don't I don't know. I um,
I'm not sure now. It's hard to keep it all straight because there was
that period in the most recorded bassis ever. Oh yeah, I don't think.
I don't know. I know she gave him lessons for sure, like
yeah, no doubts about that. I don't know if she made it onto
a record though, because there was there was that weird period in the eighties.
I don't think Jean would want to split the money. Well, there
was that period in the eighties where there were a lot of ghost bass players
because Gene was off making movement. Yeah, because Jean was off making movies
instead of being in the studio. So he'd come in and sing on the
songs he was gonna sing on. But a lot of the time the bass
at the bass parts ended up being played by somebody else, either somebody else
in the band or somebody outside. Um. And that's I think that's where
Dave is getting that. But but I'm not sure. I'm not sure if
Carol, if any of that was Carol Kay either. But I know there
are a couple of people who came in and played Yeah, you just blew
my mind. I didn't know Gean Simmons was in movies? Are you serious?
Are you kid? Yeah? No, obviously, I'm like, I
you learned something every day. What was he in? It was like GIDGETT
does Gean? What was he was? No, he was in I think
probably his best film. Uh. He just said, like B movies.
But he was in a movie with Tom Selleck called Runaway, and I think
and I think that's generally regarded as his best film in terms of um yeah,
he's he's really he plays a terrorist and he's he's very good. He's
very good. He's very good in that film. He's also in a movie
called Never Too Young to Die, where he plays a I don't know if
we can even use this term anymore, but it's it's what they say in
the movie, is a hermaphrodite. Um yeah, that's that's what's that?
Is that not the right? I thought I think it was. Maybe I'm
wrong. I don't. I don't think that you were born with both,
right? I I think so. But he's um, yeah, he's.
That's a very frightening film in that it's just hard to watch. But if
you're curious, it also stars John Stamos. Now it also has John Stamos.
And we were talking about great hair earlier, and Stamos of course has
great hair, uncle Jesse hair. He was in Scooby Doo and Kids.
Rible hair uncle. Actually, Fredo, Yeah, you have great hair.
Well, thanks man. We should since we're shouting out hair, we should
mention your hair. Nice hair. Button. I appreciate that so much yes,
I wouldn't normally bring it up, but what the hell, it's been
a hair day. I was afraid to grow it out because I had this
like corporate job, and it was like the best part of quitting my corporate
job was bringing my hair grow up. Don't let the man hold you down,
dude, let it ride. That's right, that's right, that's right.
We don't work for the man. No more, dude. Rock and
roll. Baby, we saw the light and left that left that train at
the other station. Yes, all right, well very good. Well,
uh, Fredo, we're gonna let you go because I saw say I actually

the globe. You can go to my website Matt connorton dot com for all
of your live streaming options, social media links, contact info, show archives,
etcetera, etcetera. Kyle Clayton of the Morning Show us here at the
newsdesk, the very prestigious newsdesk. You're welcome. You look very at home
there at the newsdesk. So happy. Yes, yes, it's it's the
power position, right Do I look powerful? Yes? Of course you do,
yes, yes, And of course we have with us in studio the
Tricombs, who just did a killer set for us and really appreciate it.
Guys. You sound amazing, Thank you, fun absolutely absolutely. Now let's
let's start with you, sir. Can you each tell us your names and
what you do in the band. I'm Stefan. I'm the frontman. I
guess I'm that guy. But I played a guitar and sing, and then
Shane and I will switch and I'll play drums, and then I'll take Ian's
bass sometimes just for a song. Yeah, yeah, that's what I do.
You know, it's it's a good time. We like it. Okay,
all right, and you, sir, I'm I. I played bass
and synthesizer. Okay. Stefan also like books all of our shows. He
forgot to mention that he's great and records all of our songs as well.
Yeah he does every cool. Cool, that's good, that's good. I
do that. I didn't want to talk myself up too much. I understand,
very very humble. Nothing wrong with that. You show the death dude
to come here, come and take the desk, you know, sure,
sure, sure, I thought we were there. But all right, and
you, my name is Eric Sobzinski, and I play guitar in the band.
Is that it? Because everybody else does like a million different things.
You just played guitar and sing sing. I've been trying out on other instruments
so slowly Betrore. Yes, yeah, I don't have me on other things.
At some point we gotta can you can you pull that mic up closer?
Yeah, just having a little trouble. Uh, I'm oh there we
go. Yeah. And finally you, sir, I'm Shane. I'm predominantly
drumming, but the rest of the time singing playing guitar. Very good,
very good. Yeah, that was a surprise to see you guys switch instruments.
But that's uh, that's cool. Um, how long have you guys
been around? How long has uh the try Combs been a band? Comes
as a band has existed since twenty fourteen. Um, so we're almost hitting
the ten year mark. But this crew of of homies has been about three
is shears? Yeah, yeah, we're missing one our keyboardist. He's uh
he teaches piano. Oh okay, he had to teach piano, you know.
Yeah, yeah, his job, you know, than being in the
band, right right, Yeah, he does come to the gigs. That's
that's what matters. That's good. Yeah, that's the important thing. Um,
where does the name come from, the try Combs? What does that
mean? It's the hairs on plants? Oh okay, if you look up
try combs, you'll see a bunch of weed, but you'll also see that
in Latin it means hairs. So I was actually like touching a tomato plant.
I was like, hmm, that smells good. Why is that?
Technically it's slowing down transpirations, so when air is going over the plant,
it is releasing less losing less of its water to the air through its leaves,
and it helps it stay hydrated. Oh, it's all like science and
stuff hydrated with tunes. We did cool with that, and I mean,
I mean we grow CBD. So if anybody needs any check out New Hampshire
hamp COO. Yeah, it's pretty it's pretty cool. So you have an
actual company, Yeah, that company. Yeah, we're kidding, license to
the state and everything. A CBD flower and tinctures. Yeah, we sell
it out our gigs. Wow. Wow, are you guys all all of
you do do that together? Or Eric does his own thing with with the
real stuff. But you know where it's legal, right? Yeah? Yeah?
Is that? Um, how much of a hassle is it to set
something like that up in the state? Is a is a difficult It's not
terribly difficult other than just doing like a background check and now you're supposed to
stay. It's super difficult. Nobody else we're one of the only definitely not
many there. There's thirteen licenses out or something. But oh wow, it's
it's not profitable. I wouldn't I wouldn't tell you anybody should do it.
Really there you go. It's smart, but it's cool. No musician just
plays music like they got some side hustles right right, gigs every day.
It's like, yeah, man, I'll just be on the side of the
street, be really hot right now. When you guys um when you play
out, do the songs change because it seems like the way the way your
music is, you know, it kind of lends itself to that you can
kind of experiment and improvise. I would think is there a lot of that
with the with your songs. The structure stays mostly the same, but we
definitely don't play the same like solos or jam sections. Yeah, And sometimes
we'll add like different teases of different songs, different covers or something in there.
Funny little things. Sometimes we'll take a song and it in half and
then take two songs with them together. Yeah, and then we'll play them
at completely different parts. So then all a sudden, you're like, wait,
is it that song again? You know right, it was like every
show is not the same, because otherwise we'd be boring, you know,
yeah, yeah, I get bored. Yeah, we have to play the
song, so we have to continue to trying to make new music and add
new parts of the performance every time. You know. Yeah, that makes
sense. Um, so you guys must be able to like do you do
full nights, Like do you do like three hour shows at places? There's
some of that, but like a lot of the time it's festivals. So
we're just yeah, they'll be like, hey, come play this festival,
and then the next weekend they're like, hey, we have another festival.
And then eventually after the past like five years has gone by, we're like
literally playing every festival that happens. Yeah, yeah, Northeast allast You know
what, do we have like eight weeks in a row for the next couple
Yeah, we're not wow, weekend off for a while. But you know
it could be worse. Yeah, I could have to work at my real
job. Right, Yeah, there you go, there you go. Um,
so when you're not obviously the more time there's a lot of festivals,
what about the rest of the year. Do you guys stay pretty busy or
do you ever have points in the year where you're not as busy. It's
like the winners kind of like, let's record, so like you have a
home studio, we have more time we take down to record or right on
tour, you know, so we'll tour for usually a month, try to
get somewhere warm. Yeah. Booking is honestly hard in the winter in New
England because it could snow at any point. Yeah, all of sudden,
you're about to play a gig and you really canceled, yeah, or you
have band practice since canceled, it's snow, right, So yeah, we
take the winner to be creative and go south. Yeah, and there's just
less venues around here. You know, there are a handful of bars and
stuff you can play, but you know, summers just nice. You can
play outdoors anywhere, or you can play indoors anywhere. So yeah, is
um do you guys do any covers or or do you have or do you
stick to originals? So we do like a handful of covers. It's because
like sometimes you show up to a new city and nobody's seen you guys.
Yes, yeah, try to grab so check it out. You like this
song, you know, so now you like this song? Our song predominantly
originals for the most part. Yeah, yeah, and we definitely like change
our covers up from what they were originally. Yeah then like ours, Yeah,
yeah, definitely put our flavor into it. Do do you ever do
covers where somebody doesn't know it's a cover and then they come up to you
and they're like, yeah, I really like that song, and yeah,
a lot of them. We've definitely done some pretty obscure covers to like the
theme song to the show Dug and stuff like that. Things like that into
turtles, Like, yeah, we do themes for every show, so we'll
be oh, the theme for this is this, so we'll like really yeah,
well we'll try to think of songs that have to do with that,
you know, as a intro or something like that. Yeah. Like we're
supposed to play Cisco Brewery last summer, so we learned Cisco kidka war.
Yeah, like, oh right, Cisco Cisco Brewals. We're like Tisco Kid,
you know, We're like, I'll bring us an what the actual words
are? You know? We want to we like to make people laugh and
dance. Yeah, that's usually our goal. Yeah. Um, how does
the songwriting process work with you guys? You all write together or is there
some spontaneity to it where you just kind of jam? We're like, hey,
man, it's your turn to write, Like you have a song,
right, like we all have one on the back burner, and I'm like,
yeah, man, I got like eight riffs and twenty core regressions,
and then we just kind of take that and just cut out the fat and
make it into something good. It takes a while. Yeah, Usually one
guy comes with an idea and then everyone else helps finish him and put his
thoughts together type of deal, right, because we'll just one of us will
be like not that doesn't sound good, screw that, you know, yeah?
Or that sounds great well. Usually like in a practice we could have
a new song. So it just takes you know, wow, the criticism
of each other and also just thinking of like how are we going to take
the segue from this part to this part? Yeah? Basically like oh,
that's a really cruel riff. If we did it slower and heavier, it'd
be a really cool breakdown, right Yeah. Yeah, and we do we
have a buddy who will like he'll come over and like just drink some beers
and whiskey and be like, oh yeah, man, I got some lyrics
flore you like the cow boy song. We wrote all those like We've got
I've Got drunk. That night, I was wondering we were like buying the
lyrics like no women, that's so funny, like just like going like such
an authentic, pure song. Because of that's like you can feel like how
funny and great of a time? Yeah, you know, just remember that
evening? Yeah, and Kyle, how do you know these guys? Um?
I was my first band I was ever in was with ian Um and
I said I could play the bass, but I lied. Yeah, yeah,
yeah, that's why I played bass. Now it's funny. I think
I did my best, but yeah, he's obviously substantially better. Um.
Also, how long am I known you? Twenty? I don't don't.
I don't think, I don't know. We've met in elementary school. I
think, Oh wow, I got grounded and so I wasn't allowed to hang
out with my friends, but I could hang out with my sisters friends and
Kyle was the coolest one of my sisters. Ye hear that ain't but yeah,
it's UM's but it's way too long. But yeah, in finding my
first party, he'd introduced me of all the cool stuff. Yeah shouts and
he's not punk anymore, but I still love his w was the last time
you went? I got a job? Bro? Grow up? You know
it's funny. We were talking about dreadlocks earlier. Remember I told you as
they wait till the hair comes. Yeah, yeah, you go anywhere,
and they're just like, so you guys with the band, You're like,
how did you know? Right? What was the band you guys were in
together? What was it called Battle Royal? Yeah? I think yeah?
And externally was it external? Use only? And then and fake scotch tape
before that? I think no, that was you in Nate and that's right,
it's right, Um, it doesn't matter external you so only that's a
cool name, like yeah, yeah, you should be a sixteen and play
at Millie's. They really love you there. It's anymore never mind, Yeah,
no, not anymore. I can go back there now. Yeah.
Some controversial children's songs written by children's it's fine, right, right? Exactly?
Is any of that stuff online? I hope not. I don't think
so. If not, No, it's I think I've asked you. It's
my space, you know, gonna find it? Yeah, and if it's
on my Space, it is still there because you can't. You can't get
things removed from my Space. I have. I can't remember your password.
No, no, but somehow I figured it out and and uh I did
I have gotten in Yeah to my like within the last couple of years.
I think I did remember it and then but I've had people have told me
that you can't, like, if you want to remove your profile from my
Space, you can't. No, it's uh MySpace dot com backslash banitree left
because I misspelled bananas. So if you want to look me up two thousand
and four Kyle Super Sad and Depress. Really, yeah, you can't get
rid of it. Yeah, tune still on there, like you know how
you would have like the songs that you really like. Oh yeah, and
I have a top top six. I was elite. I didn't know a
top eight. I cut very exclusive. Well, because you knew that someday
you would be at the news desk. Now I have that six right here.
It's perfect, that's right. I'm including myself without my Space. You
wouldn't be here. I would be nothing, that's right. Without Without Tom,
you wouldn't be here. Where's that dude? Dude? You know Tom?
Well? Yeah, I mean like I know that Elon Musk and the
other guy are fighting, Like Facebook guy, he's going to be the referee
for their match. Yeah, I'd be like w W E and he just
comes in with a chair. I would pay top dollars for that. Honestly.
We have a we have a call. Our friend Shannon is on the
line. High Shannon, Hello, good afternoon. Hello, and that you
guys sound great. You sound like you're having a blast. Thank you,
very nice, Shannon. Steven can't hear you. He doesn't have headphones,

for quite some time. Okay, it's gonna slap super hard. Yeah,
that's gonna be a good time. What what time do you guys go on?
We're going on. Yeats played at nine okay and they got they got
their set, and then we play at ten thirty. Um, yeah at
the Shasky and we're gonna do some raffles and stuff like that for ticket giveaways
for the Homy Collective camp out. So cool, cool, very good,
very good. Um where should people go online? Where? What should people
uh know to find you guys online? And how to keep up with all
your shows and everything. Tricombs Music dot com, Tricombs music dot com remember
that forever and then like we have a Facebook and an Instagram, We're on
Spotify, Apple Music, everywhere. Okay, Yeah, you guys are easy
to find. But yeah, if you just do a Google search, you
gotta search Tricomes band because otherwise there's gonna be a bunch of pictures Combs music.
Yeah, there's no I think the Tricombs was already stolen, so I
had to do tri Coombs Music. Oh I got you. Yeah, And
then we have a new album coming out, so stay tuned early fall September
is yeah, Okay, we'll be doing a little like some touring at that
time too, so it'll be a good time. To catch us do some
more festivals or playing Wormtown trout Stock trout Stock is that? Yeah? Augusto
hard, next week hard as the next weekend after it's up in Harmony,
Maine. Okay, July twenty first, that one's gonna be fun. It's
like an EDM festival and we're the only band and Ian's playing with that band
too. Oh wow. So like we're like, we're the we're the band
people at the at the DJ festivals, so it should be pretty fun.
Yeah. Yeah, people are like, whoa this is people playing instruments?
Where do you guys record? By the way, because the studio stuff sounds
really good, thanks man. Um So most of it we did, like
Jazz Capastoire was all at Mojo Studio. Other than Spooky Lady, I recorded
that at my house. Um. I recorded a lot of the new album,
like Intermission to Another Dimension Danny Danko, all that stuff has been recorded
at our house. Yeah. I call it a SOS studio, so Snake
Oil Studios because I've recorded Snake Oil at our house too. Oh okay,
but that's been the like common theme now. It's like I just worked at
Guitar Center for a while. It's bought everything. Yeah, thanks Guitar Center.
Yeah, I quit after working one day a week for like a year.
But if you think about it, I gave them way more money than
I made, so they made out right right, And I'm not selling it.
We just recorded our albums or up coming one with it. So yeah.
Yeah, and Ian's girlfriend Brook did the fiance Brook did the art for
it for the back half and it's looking awesome. Half did it. She's
still working on it. She should be drawing right now. I hope she
is half engaged. Oh my, well, very good. By the way,
you guys worry from the Sea Coast ye in the league are okay?
Lead over a lot of good bands that way. Yeah, there's a lot
of good bands up. But isn't another band stopped Tito Collective? Oh okay.
And then we have like our friends like Harror Shamadillo. Those guys are
really good. Clandestine is awesome. They were having a sax player actually he's
playing with We're having a sax player this Friday too. Oh no kidding.
Yeah, he's just not here because we were hanging out with him at Galactic.
But you know, he's probably playing sacks right now. So he has
to practice, is uh for first time? Is his first time playing with
you? Guys are probably like five four or five usually joins us for festivals,
but like we're kind of like yo, man, you're in the band.
Yeah, so now we're like kind of just all the game to come
every time. Yeah, yeah, he's gonna be working. We make sure
every time feels like the first time. Yeah, that's good. Girls would
definitely like you. Man, there's certain things he doesn't like to do.
Though. If you're like, hey man, go go play like as the
sexy sacks man the crowd, he won't have it. No, He'll be
like you know, but yeah, if you as long as you play Super
Smash Bros With him, like once a week, he'll stay with the band.
Like he let's call you up at like midnight, be like hey man,
you want to like play some Super Smash Bros. Like all right,

Pub, Yeah, down the Yeah, it's it's new. It just came
out. So um, come bind me a drink please. I'm not musically
inclined, but just right right, that's that's my pitch. Are you on
the morning show again this week? I am still on the morning show.
Yeah. I slept in a couple of times, dude, I'm not proud
of it, but now I got the feel of the desk again. Yeah,

He it's like the moda least I can't break eye contact of it. Yeah,
yeah, well, the eyes follow you. I'm sure you've noticed that
this is wearing sunglasses. No, those are those are his piercing black eyes.
Those are his regular glasses. Yeah yeah, but he watches over everything.
