And he's working right now. So Kenny's Kenny's on break right now. Well, very good. Well, yeah, I was listening to these Kenneth Wood songs and I really really like him.

Nice man, I really like Oh we should acknowledge too. A big week? What's that been? A big week? Just dropped like a new baby coming into the world. So these are so we're hearing these for the first time. Yeah, this is a on the radio. This is a world radio premiere. Is another radio world premiere from the Kenny Truon Universe. Yeah, you know what I mean. It's like a give and take. This song that we're talking about is don't this one up so you could fill in the blank. And what's funny? I was saying to Jenny about it. You know what I mean exactly? It says it so many times too, so it's like it would just be repetitively like awkward. Yeah you know, but uh yeah, it's been it's been an exciting week released. That song released on Valentine's Day. The Kenneth Wood and the Brothers Nylon album The Legend Continues. It's is part two of a album series with the Brothers Nylon, who played every instrument on that album and produced it. And I'm I'm just dancing vocally on it. Who are the Brothers Nylon? The Brothers Nylon are a amazing twin duo from Long Island, New York who I met one night at a It was like an underground show in some basement where there was like a rap cipher with like tons of rappers.

But there's these two guys, one on keys and one on drums with like a bucket hat and glasses on, just playing And they literally played for three hours straight without stopping. Wow, And like all these differ rappers were just jumping on. They would just go into different things, and I was like, who are these these guys? Like what is going on? And I met them out in the parking lot afterwards, and and then I ended up moving like a couple of minutes down the road from them, like a year later, and we ended up making all these these songs and we just had a had a great time.

We're still doing it. Yeah. They do a lot of string stuff for my other Tendy chuon rock songs especially. Don't beat this one up. They nick plays the strings from the Brothers Nylon. Oh okay, yeah, okay, very cool. Well let's I wanna I want to play these? We should start with uh, this night is of the ones you sent me. This is my personal favorite. This is the opener. Yeah, Kenneth Wood and the Brothers Nylon h The first album was called The Legends of Kenneth Wood. Yeah, and the second one the Legend Continues. So this is the second installment working with them. But on my not my, but this guy Kenny truon Mangastine album.

They did all the strings. Oh really did that album too? Yeah, Okay, they're like there. We work hand in hand on stuff, like together. We do a bunch of collaborations. We're still we got other new music in the pipeline as well. But yeah, I love working with them. Yeah. It's and they're in New York. They're in Florida now. Oh they're in Florida. Yeah. They we were in the around the pandemic. We I somehow moved out by them. They were out east on Long Island and then we did a lot of work there. But then they moved to Florida and I moved to New Hampshire.

So okay, So we're like we do music, send each other stuff online? Yeah, well, like I always say, and you know, we might have even talked about it the last time you were on the show. It's quite a time that we live in where you can do that, you know, it's kind of it's kind of great, honestly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely, Now what else? Uh? What else have you got going on? Because you have these multiple musical personalities? I feel like, is there another one? I'm forgetting there is another one?

Snotty nose, oh hip hop? Yes, and that's uh that's actually coming next on the pipeline. Yeah. So yeah, the universe it keeps. I have all this stuff planned to release, so it's it's almost like sort of like a comic book world, but like with music. And I launched my Patreon January first, try to get because I don't think anyone really understands, like they're just like, oh, he just but they will as soon as it's like been like six months of constant releases that people will understand I think by then.

And I look in yourself in the mirror and kind of like deep searching in her, like you're like, what's her? It's early in the morning. I'm trying to get it right. But basically like, look inward and heal yourself first before you try to like love someone else, you know what I mean?

Yeah, love self first, that's first and foremost. And sometimes it's hard to love yourself. Sometimes we all are our own worst critic. Yeah, but every now and then there's there's something that is shown to you, whether it's a sign or light or whatever. But

Or do you just do the Kenny Trutan stuff or we're actually I'm thinking I'm talking to the brothers right now. Or do a Florida tour, oh, because Florida is pretty big. Yeah, so we want to do some some good spots in Florida.

Yeah, we want to because I feel like that our music in Florida would actually do pretty well because it's kind of like, yeah, no doubt, you know, a little little dancy night time vibe. I think so, Yeah, yeah.

Have you played out with them before? I have, Yes, we have done. They have performed with me on Kenny Troon set. It's actually there's should be on YouTube somewhere, a live set somewhere. But also we've done a three piece set where it's just the three of us and we've kind of done a little hip hop little Kenneth Boy, little Keuntry and all in one set. Oh really together? Yeah, that was fun. That was my birthday, like twenty twenty one maybe. Oh yeah, so that was like the last time before they moved that we played together.

Is it more I'm sure we talked about this before, but is it more rewarding being able to kind of do do your own thing where you're not because I know the obviously it didn't work out with the band and all of that.

Is it Is it more satisfying to be able to do it the way you're doing it now? Yeah? I would. I would never change the journey or the long road that it's taken for me to just be able to do everything myself. Yeah, not have anyone telling me what to do. Yeah, because I would think I would think too, it would be you know, in in that if you were still in that configuration, that would be you wouldn't have the freedom to even really Yeah, you know, like if you had the band and you're also Kenneth Wood, you know, and as much as it didn't work out, it kind of did because it's all a learning lesson, and it's all like things that I'm taking with me to make sure it doesn't happen again or improve upon it.

It's all, it's all a learning curve. So yeah, it makes sense. I love how you all these different characters. Do you character have their own wardrobe? Yeah? They all look different, they all sound different. They all yeah, like Kenneth Wood's more of a like a softer voice. Can you Truan's more of a raspier voice. Yeah, I noticed that different. And Snotty Nose is rapping. So it's a lot of I kind of keep them compartmentalized.

Do you have different people that play with you with each project or do you have like a group collective that pretty much sticks with you. I do have like a group, a solid group collective that like rolls with anything I do. Like they don't really ask questions or I'm just like, oh I got this product and they're usually down, so shout out to them. I was watching a live performance with yours on YouTube, and you had quite a few people up there and it was awesome. Yes, it was so awesome. Yes. So I'm not sure which one it was, but it's probably one of the more recent ones.

It was. I went down the Yeah, can you throw a rabbit Hole? Is pretty good? It is, Actually, it very much is because I put it on I started painting and then I just went through whatever. I feel honored you're painting to it, because that creating to something I created is really great. That's a good Uh. I really do generally enjoy your music. It's really cool. I would One of the ones. The other ones I loved was the Falling in Love That you did that one and you guys, you gotta go on to YouTube and check out his channel.

It's taken me a few years to kind of get better at it because it's another thing I need to be able to do, and I also want to do it necessarily, like where I don't have to wait on anyone else. I'm more in the lab. Yeah, I'm kind of like the last the end of the year, like October is kind of I'm playing around there, but November December, I'm in the lab getting ready for the next year's worth of stuff. Right. As for everything after that, I kinda it's open, yeah, kind of like taking in just releasing the new music now so that when opportunities come, I can pick and choose what's worth it.
