Responding to the newest lies of Crazy Joe | Matt Connarton Unleashed
Speaker 1: And yes, by the way, we are live. I do know.
Speaker 1: And if you know, you know, and some people will
Speaker 1: know who I'm referring to. I'm not gonna mention the name.
Speaker 1: But there is a certain podcaster out of New York
Speaker 1: who has been telling everyone who will listen that I
Speaker 1: am no longer on the air, that this show has
Speaker 1: been canceled, and that I've been run out of town.
Speaker 1: And that is not true. Of course I am here.
Speaker 1: The show is live, and here we are, so you know.
Speaker 1: At first, I thought maybe this, maybe this individual was
Speaker 1: confused because of a recent change in my schedule, so
Speaker 1: to speak. And again that's one of those if you know,
Speaker 1: you know things. But then it occurred to me that
Speaker 1: they've been saying this about me. I think probably every
Speaker 1: six months or so, this particular person says this about me,
Speaker 1: goes online and starts claiming that I no longer have
Speaker 1: a show. And it's funny, you know, if you're going
Speaker 1: to make up lies about someone. I was thinking about this.
Speaker 1: I was thinking about this this morning. You know, if
Speaker 1: you're old enough to remember what life was like before
Speaker 1: we had social media and before we had the internet,
Speaker 1: before we had things like Google, for example, you know,
Speaker 1: there was a time, a simpler time, when it was
Speaker 1: very easy to make up lies about someone because there
Speaker 1: was no way to immediately verify and debunk something if
Speaker 1: it wasn't true. But now it's very easy to debunk something. So,
Speaker 1: for example, if someone tells you that this show doesn't
Speaker 1: exist anymore and that it's been canceled, if you just
Speaker 1: google the show, you'll see that the show carries on.
Speaker 1: So so we are here. Do not believe what you've
Speaker 1: heard from that particular person. Of course, if you believe
Speaker 1: what you hear from that particular person that podcast are
Speaker 1: out of New York, you would probably think all kinds
Speaker 1: of insane things about me and Jenny as well and
Speaker 1: all the people we associate with. But no, the show
Speaker 1: continues that the show is alive, and well it's funny too.
Speaker 1: The person who was claiming that they also claim that
Speaker 1: I stole my entire show format from them, which is
Speaker 1: also very interesting because my show format is nothing like
Speaker 1: the format of the podcast that he does online. So
Speaker 1: I don't know, but people say crazy things, so what
Speaker 1: are you gonna do? But that's part of what keeps
Speaker 1: life interesting. Not only are we live and on the air,
Speaker 1: but we have a great show,
