Speaker 1: WMNH rip the novels What Matts wakes up in the morning,

Speaker 1: his lungs he sings, want because I.
Speaker 2: All right back to the radio show now, all the best, Jemmy, thanks, Jerry,
Speaker 2: Welcome back everybody. We have entered our number three Newmarrow
Speaker 2: trace of Matt Connorton Unleashed. We are live from the
Speaker 2: studios of wm NH ninety five point three FM and
Speaker 2: Glorious Manchester, New Hampshire. Of course, you can stream the
Speaker 2: show from anywhere. Go to Matt connorton dot com, slash
Speaker 2: live and if you are listening live of course, today
Speaker 2: is Saturday, February twenty eight, twenty twenty six. Nice have
Speaker 2: you with us, And I'm gonna go ahead and bring
Speaker 2: this up because we also have joining us online Charles
Speaker 2: Richardson from The Charles Richardson Show.
Speaker 3: Hello, Charles, greetings, and thanks for having me on last
Speaker 3: day of February.
Speaker 2: Absolutely so uh. I know this doesn't affect you because
Speaker 2: you are in Florida, but I like to think of
Speaker 2: the last day of February as being the last day
Speaker 2: of winter. And I'll tell you why, because my something,
Speaker 2: my Dad taught me he likes to think. He liked
Speaker 2: to think of winter as really only being two months long,
Speaker 2: just January and February, because most of December is technically
Speaker 2: still fall, so then you have January and February to
Speaker 2: contend with, and by the time you get to March,
Speaker 2: it's technically still winter. But at that point, you know,
Speaker 2: whatever happens happens, you don't care because any day now
Speaker 2: it's all gonna warm up and everything's gonna melt and
Speaker 2: it's gonna be fine. So in my mind, tomorrow, March first,
Speaker 2: is the first day of spring. Okay, but where you are,
Speaker 2: it doesn't matter, right.
Speaker 3: It don't matter. It's spring except for a few fragments
Speaker 3: of really really chilly air. I'm not gonna say cold,
Speaker 3: because I am I am northern or by blood. I
Speaker 3: was the one that went out here in t shirts
Speaker 3: and shorts wets forty degrees, and I see the rest
Speaker 3: of the people bundle up like it's gonna be a
Speaker 3: blizzard soon. So it's if people look at me weird,
Speaker 3: I look at them weird too. Like in the fifties,
Speaker 3: people are still bundling up with with layers and layers
Speaker 3: like are you crazy, right, Come on, it's it just
Speaker 3: doesn't bother me. Maybe also because I like three hundred pounds,
Speaker 3: so it's like me a little bit more so.
Speaker 2: You don't get cold as easily as uh no, maybe
Speaker 2: other other folks.
Speaker 3: No, everybody else. Everybody else is turning on the heat Monday,
Speaker 3: and it's like thirty five degrees over here. I got
Speaker 3: the window open and I'm sleeping in my normal thing.
Speaker 3: So it's like I was, I was in heaven.
Speaker 2: How how cold is it in the winter there?
Speaker 3: Like that?
Speaker 2: Is it getting down to thirty five? Is that normal?
Speaker 1: Uh?
Speaker 3: In about so the cumlative days that it gets into
Speaker 3: the thirties, I have two hands to count the days. Really, yeah,
Speaker 3: it doesn't. It doesn't happen that often. And when it does,
Speaker 3: they have a thing called falling iguana warnings that are
Speaker 3: down here. Really kid you not. I'd use another word,
Speaker 3: but just that, that's how ridiculous it sounds. Is Literally,
Speaker 3: if it gets below forty degrees, the i guanas will
Speaker 3: literally freeze, frozen and fall from trees. They're not dead, why,
Speaker 3: they're just frozen and they fall. And there's that's literally
Speaker 3: a thing down here.
Speaker 2: I'd never heard of this before.
Speaker 3: So when you go ahead and hear, well, have you
Speaker 3: never heard of it, then I'm not gonna hear it.
Speaker 2: Right.
Speaker 3: But every time you hear a frozen to guana warning
Speaker 3: down here in Florida, it's literally things like don't don't,
Speaker 3: don't kill the iguanas or anything. They're still alive. They're
Speaker 3: just they're hibernating warms up again.
Speaker 2: I'll be damned. Oh that's wild. Yeah, I had no idea.
Speaker 2: I had no idea.
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 2: Speaking of iguanas. By the way, I don't know how
Speaker 2: you feel about him. Jenny and I are both very
Speaker 2: big fans of mister Iguana.
Speaker 3: Yeah I heard. I heard. Listen to me, that was
Speaker 3: a wasted row rumble spot. Oh he didn't. He didn't
Speaker 3: do a whole lot. And he looked like he looked
Speaker 3: like doing the clown to me.
Speaker 2: Oh.
Speaker 3: Yes, he's very Listen, he's very athletic. I'm not gonna
Speaker 3: say anything, but it's like, listen, give him bring him
Speaker 3: up to to to nxt LIMB. See what he can
Speaker 3: do on that. You know, I know he's in triple
Speaker 3: A and everything. So okay, it's fine. He's gonna get
Speaker 3: his fair share. Of exposure. But to me, mister Iana,
Speaker 3: it sounds like a Vince mcman gimmick name. It really does.
Speaker 3: I'm not gonna say. I'm not gonna say he's not
Speaker 3: talented or anything like that. Yeah, I'm just saying that
Speaker 3: the first exposure I have mister Guana. No, it's just
Speaker 3: it doesn't rub me the right way. It really doesn't.
Speaker 3: We love, we love this, apparently I have. I have
Speaker 3: very quick judgment to the name. Well, not not the man.
Speaker 2: Well, I'll tell you what, I got a bunch of
Speaker 2: crap for it. On So on Friday nights, I'm a
Speaker 2: co host on Retrospectrum Radio with poly C and they
Speaker 2: they they they recently gave gave me a bunch of
Speaker 2: crap about my love for mister Iguana. But I think
Speaker 2: he's great. I say, put the belt on him, make
Speaker 2: him the champion.
Speaker 3: What do you think, Yeah, definitely put a belt on
Speaker 3: him so you can go ahead and hold this tights
Speaker 3: up a little bit better. Belt. Well.
Speaker 2: Part of why we're talking today, of course, aside from
Speaker 2: the fact that we always love to have you on,
Speaker 2: of course, and you are the host of the Charles
Speaker 2: Richardson Show. But today, speaking of shows, is elimination Chamber. Now,
Speaker 2: I should tell you that Jenny and I have not
Speaker 2: yet watched SmackDown. And the reason we haven't watched SmackDown
Speaker 2: yet is because on Friday nights, I, of course, am
Speaker 2: on retrospectrum radio, so we usually don't get to smack
Speaker 2: Down until Saturday, and then we won't even get to
Speaker 2: Elimination Chamber until either later this evening or possibly even tomorrow,
Speaker 2: so we may be a little bit behind. Now. I'm
Speaker 2: not putting any limitations on our conversation, of course, but
Speaker 2: I'm just offering this as a spoiler alert. Jenny doesn't
Speaker 2: like spoilers, so if we're if we talk about SmackDown
Speaker 2: at all, which I assume we will, because that will
Speaker 2: affect the elimination Chamber. You know, Jenny might want to
Speaker 2: tune out because I don't mind spoilers. Uh. But Jenny,
Speaker 2: of course, Uh, I know she doesn't want any, so
Speaker 2: this will give her a chance to, uh to shut
Speaker 2: this off if she's listening. But but I, but I
Speaker 2: I think something you got good?
Speaker 3: You got you got three seconds, two seconds, one second,
Speaker 3: And I have just one word for you. It's three letters,
Speaker 3: and it's USO and the reason why I say USO
Speaker 3: is because USO is out of the elimination chamber. Okay,
Speaker 3: thanks to the very first part of SmackDown. He got
Speaker 3: beaten down in an ambulance and the rumors were it
Speaker 3: was Drew McIntyre. Okay, So that opened up a spot
Speaker 3: for Jacob Fattou and a part of the Vision which
Speaker 3: probably guests doing one that's not injured. It's Logan Paul.
Speaker 3: Actually he should be austin theory is not injured, but
Speaker 3: do we really count him right anyway, But so Logan
Speaker 3: and Paul and Fatu went ahead and got into a match,
Speaker 3: and the final elimination Chamber of spot goes to Matt
Speaker 3: I'm gonna give you a guess.
Speaker 2: But Jacob Fatu, no, oh, Logan.
Speaker 3: Paul because du Bac and Tyre has to.
Speaker 2: Wait what say that again?
Speaker 3: It is the final entrant in the elimination chamber. So
Speaker 3: Jay us So is out, Logan Paul is in.
Speaker 2: Just fyi, oh okay, gotcha? Gotcha. By the way, what
Speaker 2: do you think of Logan Paul? Because I know he's
Speaker 2: he's kind of divisive. I think I think he's incredible
Speaker 2: as a I mean, I'm not I'm not so sure
Speaker 2: about some of the other things he's gotten involved in
Speaker 2: in terms of business practices and so forth. But lot
Speaker 2: of people call him a scammer, this and that. But
Speaker 2: I think as a professional wrestler, I think he's incredible.
Speaker 3: I think Logan Paul is actually mister Iguana.
Speaker 2: He's too tall, too tall.
Speaker 3: I'm just saying he's very athletic. I mean, definitely, he
Speaker 3: has all the characteristics of being a WWE guy. He
Speaker 3: really does. And I'm not gonna call him a superstar
Speaker 3: or a wrestler because I guess they're neither, you know, so,
Speaker 3: But Logan Paul's got everything. He's dazzled us in the ring.
Speaker 3: He really does. Now he's becoming a full time thing
Speaker 3: because I guess his YouTube channel making money anymore. I
Speaker 3: don't know. But you know, he's obviously been an influencer,
Speaker 3: which that's a thing nowadays. That's a that's a career
Speaker 3: choice along with only fans. That's a career choice now.
Speaker 3: And now he's turned in he's actually making himself full time,
Speaker 3: which I am very happy to see. That way, you
Speaker 3: can really see what he's like in the ring three
Speaker 3: hundred and sixty five days a year and We'll see
Speaker 3: how he handles himself with his character, and I think
Speaker 3: put him in in the vision is a good way
Speaker 3: to kind of mask any oopsies that he may do
Speaker 3: because he's with a group, and who better to mentor
Speaker 3: than Paul Haymon. Paul Haymon is done, CM Punk done,
Speaker 3: brock Lesner, he's done, Roman Reigns. All those careers basically
Speaker 3: took off with Paul Haymon involved. And you got to
Speaker 3: give the Walrus his due. We really do so. I
Speaker 3: think Logan Paul, I think he's going to be excellent.
Speaker 3: As a matter of fact, I don't doubt that he
Speaker 3: wins tonight.
Speaker 2: Oh you think really? You think he's going to win
Speaker 2: the elimination chaper.
Speaker 3: I don't have a solid bet on that one, but
Speaker 3: he's I mean, he could be built up to it
Speaker 3: because I think a lot of I think a lot
Speaker 3: of the storytelling has tooken some turns because of injuries.
Speaker 3: I think it should have been Bronson Reid in that
Speaker 3: last spot, but get injured.
Speaker 2: Uh Triceptare, Yeah, I believe it is tricept or Bicptar. Yeah.
Speaker 3: I know it had something to do with the tries.
Speaker 3: So I think he was supposed to be one in there,
Speaker 3: but I think they had they had to make a pivot,
Speaker 3: and that's why jay Us he won, wasn't supposed to win.
Speaker 3: That's why he's beating up now and that that's the
Speaker 3: that's the swagger, that that's the swing they're doing. So
Speaker 3: I don't I wouldn't be surprised if Logan Paul is
Speaker 3: set to go ahead and uh and win, or at
Speaker 3: least be in the final two.
Speaker 2: I think it's very unlikely that he wins because they're
Speaker 2: not gonna want to send him to WrestleMania the main event, right,
Speaker 2: I mean not yet. Maybe next year eventually, but not yet.
Speaker 3: You no, no, no, I mean you take take a
Speaker 3: look at if you take a look at the men's chamber,
Speaker 3: that the chamber match, you got Cody Rhoades, Javon Evans,
Speaker 3: l a Night, Logan Paul, Randy Won, and Trick Williams,
Speaker 3: a lot of new lou faces. I like Trick, Oh yeah, Trick.
Speaker 3: I like Javon. Javon could do some amazing things in
Speaker 3: that in that chamber.
Speaker 2: Yeah, Jenny loves him too. Yeah, Evans incredible.
Speaker 3: I really hope and I know this is probably not
Speaker 3: gonna be true, but I really hope it is not Cody,
Speaker 3: and it's not Randy.
Speaker 2: Okay, somebody else.
Speaker 3: Take this rein somebody that, somebody that's a face if
Speaker 3: you take a look, really, all of these people are
Speaker 3: faces except Logan ball.
Speaker 4: Well.
Speaker 2: Trick Williams is kind of I don't know what to
Speaker 2: think because he he acts like a heel. Everything about
Speaker 2: him is a heel, but the fans love him.
Speaker 3: I'm saying, it's like, if you want to go, I
Speaker 3: think Trick is all about Trick. He doesn't care about
Speaker 3: anybody else. He's so I don't call him a face
Speaker 3: or a heel. I think he's just he's just for himself. Yeah,
Speaker 3: So does that make him a heel? I don't think so,
Speaker 3: I think, but it definitely doesn't make him. You know,
Speaker 3: him being a crowd favorite, I think automatically puts him
Speaker 3: into that face category.
Speaker 2: Yeah, because the crowd explodes when his music hits. I mean,
Speaker 2: that's the bigg he gets the biggest. He gets a
Speaker 2: bigger face pop than most of the babyfaces, even though
Speaker 2: he acts like a heel. He kind of reminds me
Speaker 2: of the rock, you know, the rock, even when the
Speaker 2: rock was a baby face early on, you know, he
Speaker 2: was he was all about himself. You know, he wasn't
Speaker 2: the most empathetic babyface, and I think Trick Williams is
Speaker 2: probably a very similar to that. I certainly don't think
Speaker 2: it's going to be Randy Orton. I think it's most
Speaker 2: likely to be Cody Rhoads, but they may also If
Speaker 2: it's not Cody, then that means they're going to use
Speaker 2: tonight's match to because they've been teasing it for so long,
Speaker 2: there's finally going to be some sort of a breakdown
Speaker 2: between Cody Roads and Randy Orton.
Speaker 3: Do you think so?
Speaker 2: I do. I think that they're They've been teasing that
Speaker 2: and teasing it, and I think I think this is
Speaker 2: going to be the moment.
Speaker 3: It's finally about time, right, It's about time to see
Speaker 3: heel Roads roseby and a heel or.
Speaker 2: Well or the Randy Orton heel turn. But the problem
Speaker 2: with turning Orton heel is he is so and he
Speaker 2: has been since he came back for the past couple
Speaker 2: of years. He is so over as a babyface. The
Speaker 2: way the fans sing his song, I've never seen him
Speaker 2: as over as a babyface, even though he's an excellent.
Speaker 2: Heel so you think so okay, So you think tonight
Speaker 2: they pulled the trigger on the Cody Roads heel turn.
Speaker 3: I didn't say that. I was asking you if you
Speaker 3: think that's the Oh, okay, I I don't.
Speaker 2: Know if they it's so there's so much risk in
Speaker 2: doing it. I want to see it. Jenny wants to
Speaker 2: see it too. She was saying she's ready for it.
Speaker 2: I think it would be great. I have long speculated
Speaker 2: because we don't know. They've never told us who actually
Speaker 2: is responsible for the attack on Jacob fat too, And
Speaker 2: I've said all along, what if it's Cody. Hmmm, what
Speaker 2: if it somehow is revealed that it was Cody.
Speaker 3: That's interesting. I think that's really too far off. But
Speaker 3: you know what, it would be the first time that
Speaker 3: w W surprised me.
Speaker 2: They dropped a hint though they opened the door. Right
Speaker 2: after it happened, there was a conversation between Cody Rhoads
Speaker 2: and Nick All This where Cody Rhoads said to Nick
Speaker 2: All this, by the way, I'm really sorry about what
Speaker 2: happened to Jacob. I like Jacob, it's terrible, and then
Speaker 2: he moved on to something else in their conversation. But
Speaker 2: I remember him saying that and thinking why did they
Speaker 2: have him go out of his way to say that
Speaker 2: and to say how much he likes Jacob Plot too? Why?
Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, because because fat two cost Roads to
Speaker 3: Belt literally in that that match. So they they've had
Speaker 3: some beef. But hey, you know what that that's that
Speaker 3: makes a lot of sense too. If they will go
Speaker 3: ahead and pull the trigger, all right, I wouldn't be
Speaker 3: I wouldn't be too shocked on that. Yeah, I don't
Speaker 3: think why would it make Roads a bad guy? That
Speaker 3: was just one guy that he has a thing against it.
Speaker 2: Yeah, but if it turned out he's the one responsible
Speaker 2: for the attack, I mean, that's a heel thing to do.
Speaker 2: That's that you know, a baby face wouldn't do that.
Speaker 3: So yeah, that's true, that's true.
Speaker 2: Yeah, but it is but it is risky there, there's
Speaker 2: there's always a risk to it. But but the shock
Speaker 2: of it would be a lot of fun.
Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're gonna if you're gonna make a heel turn, listen,
Speaker 3: don't be like, don't do to Cody like you did
Speaker 3: John Cena And just like eh merchandise is up, You're
Speaker 3: just gonna keep your face and face. No, turn him,
Speaker 3: turn him, if you're gonna do it, turn them.
Speaker 2: Yeah.
Speaker 3: I mean Cody even said he came out and said,
Speaker 3: the next contract you gets to WW is gonna be
Speaker 3: his last.
Speaker 2: Yeah, so you know what, let's just do it, Just
Speaker 2: do it. Yeah, But what's it.
Speaker 3: Really gonna hurt? You know? Orton's on the end of
Speaker 3: his career, Cody's on the end of his career. Man
Speaker 3: love to see La Night win. I would love to
Speaker 3: see l A Night. I think he's overdue a push
Speaker 3: for so long. I love to see him against Drew.
Speaker 2: I would love to see it too, And I think
Speaker 2: most of the fans would love to see it. I
Speaker 2: just don't think they're going to. Did you watch well?
Speaker 2: So let me ask you this because it's has to
Speaker 2: do with my thought on La Night. Do you think
Speaker 2: they lost confidence in him? Because I assumed Did you
Speaker 2: watch WWE Unreal?
Speaker 1: No?
Speaker 3: I didn't.
Speaker 2: Oh you haven't seen it.
Speaker 3: Oh, I've seen. I've seen two episodes of the first season.
Speaker 3: I am so behind on that. Oh.
Speaker 2: Jenny and I ended up binge watching it because it's
Speaker 2: so good and I know a lot of it. There's
Speaker 2: a lot of negativity negativity online toward that show, and
Speaker 2: I don't quite understand it. I think it's I think
Speaker 2: it's fantastic. I know, I know a lot of the
Speaker 2: podcasters don't like it. James Romero hates it. I think
Speaker 2: it's really good. But but there's a moment you might
Speaker 2: be aware of this. There's there is a moment where,
Speaker 2: because when they did money in the bank, l A.
Speaker 2: Knight apparently made a mistake and it screwed up the
Speaker 2: ending of the match. And there's a scene in Unreal
Speaker 2: where Triple H is kind of telling l. A. Knight, Look,
Speaker 2: you really mess this up. Here's what was supposed to happen.
Speaker 2: I don't know what you were thinking, that kind of thing.
Speaker 2: And so it has a lot of people speculating that
Speaker 2: they may have confidence in L. A. Night and that's
Speaker 2: why he remains He's always like on the edge of
Speaker 2: being in main events, but he never quite quite gets
Speaker 2: that push all the way to the top. And uh
Speaker 2: and and the speculation that that might be why Eric
Speaker 2: Pilch and Austin and I we talked about it on
Speaker 2: Touff Bumps recently. You know that that may be the reason.
Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a lot of politics to go on behind
Speaker 3: the scenes too, whether you get a push or not.
Speaker 3: And you know, my my question has always been listening.
Speaker 3: He's over with the crowd. You know, we enjoy I
Speaker 3: enjoy his matches. I think he has a love of athleticism.
Speaker 3: He's not a typical three moves of doom type of person.
Speaker 3: You know, he's got he he he's got a good finisher.
Speaker 3: Why are we not pushing him?
Speaker 1: What?
Speaker 3: What? What's the what's the hold up? What's going on?
Speaker 3: And stuff like that behind the scenes when you're not
Speaker 3: cooperating with what was supposed to be planned, and they're
Speaker 3: kind of like saying, you know what the deal is, Yeah,
Speaker 3: that can hold you back, That really can't so uh
Speaker 3: And and to backtrack, listen, Unreal is for the person
Speaker 3: that kind of wants to see what's going on. Paul
Speaker 3: Haymon's come out and says he absolutely hates it.
Speaker 2: He says it right on the show.
Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, he hates it because it's literally, you're pulling
Speaker 3: the curtain way too far back and that's supposed to
Speaker 3: be kept sacred, right and steam punk kind of feels
Speaker 3: the same way a little bit, he said. He he
Speaker 3: refused to do a couple of things that they asked
Speaker 3: him to do or he asked them to cut it
Speaker 3: out or something like that. So yeah, it is really
Speaker 3: one of those things where it it polarizes the industry
Speaker 3: a little bit because it's like, you know, a lot
Speaker 3: of people are against it and listen to what's kept
Speaker 3: behind that curtain, should be kept behind that curtain?
Speaker 2: M out Yeah, I love all that stuff even you know,
Speaker 2: even if but see, I would enjoy that show even
Speaker 2: if it didn't pull back the curtain as much. But
Speaker 2: it just kind of showed you behind the scenes how
Speaker 2: things work, you know, and gorilla position and everything. You know,
Speaker 2: even if they even if they didn't give anything away really,
Speaker 2: even if it was a little bit more k fame,
Speaker 2: but still it showed you kind of kind of just
Speaker 2: how things work behind the scenes. I would still even
Speaker 2: find that really fascinating, just because I love that kind
Speaker 2: of stuff anyway. I always have.
Speaker 3: You know, Yeah, who do you think of when you
Speaker 3: see Drew McIntyre on camera? You think of him as,
Speaker 3: you think of him as not a nice guy, you
Speaker 3: and now you take a look behind the scenes and
Speaker 3: it's like, oh, well, you know he's he's he's a
Speaker 3: loving husband, father or whatever they whatever he is, you know,
Speaker 3: and you know he's actually gotta got a human side
Speaker 3: to him, right, you know, say, you know the same
Speaker 3: thing with Solo Socoa Solo was you know, just he's
Speaker 3: he's a he's a bad guy, but you know, behind
Speaker 3: the scenes, you know, he's got a family, just like
Speaker 3: everybody else does, you know, And and and that's that's
Speaker 3: the way, you know, you need to take a look
Speaker 3: at I mean, a lot of people, they they want
Speaker 3: just the image on TV, so they can generally hate
Speaker 3: somebody or like somebody based on what they see on
Speaker 3: the camera. But I think you know, there's a lot
Speaker 3: more people that know that, listen, this is a character.
Speaker 3: Yeah it's not really them, right, But you know, but
Speaker 3: what does that do to the character that now it's
Speaker 3: kind of like a little bit clouded? Do I cheer
Speaker 3: for him or do I do I hate him? Because
Speaker 3: you know who they are behind the scenes and how
Speaker 3: they are as a real person, but they're playing a
Speaker 3: bad guy.
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean to me, it doesn't bother me, It
Speaker 2: never has. I compartmentalize it pretty easily because I just
Speaker 2: look at it the same way I look at anything else.
Speaker 2: You know, they're they're they're actors, so so I you know,
Speaker 2: I'm not the slightest bit bothered by seeing, you know,
Speaker 2: somebody like Drew McIntyre who's supposed to be a bad guy.
Speaker 2: You know, when I when I see him outside in
Speaker 2: a different context and it turns out he's actually a
Speaker 2: nice guy, it's like, well, yeah, I actually kind of
Speaker 2: assumed that already. I assume he's not the character that
Speaker 2: he plays on television, just like with that anything else.
Speaker 2: So it's it's never bothered me.
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, exactly. You still have you still have these
Speaker 3: simple minded people who are just getting into wrestling thinking,
Speaker 3: oh my god, well, why are they allowed to do
Speaker 3: that called the cop?
Speaker 2: Yeah, oh, relax, it's a show. Yes, yes, oh my word.
Speaker 3: They said wrestling was fake. This looks so real. It's
Speaker 3: fake because the outcomes are predetermined.
Speaker 2: It is weird to me, though, that in the year
Speaker 2: twenty twenty six, because as a wrestling fan, I've been
Speaker 2: dealing with this my whole life. And I'm sure you
Speaker 2: have two as every wrestling fan has. Even today, I'll
Speaker 2: have a conversation with someone who doesn't like wrestling and
Speaker 2: they will say to me, well, you know, it's all fake, right,
Speaker 2: It's like, no kidding, Really.
Speaker 3: It's scripted.
Speaker 2: It's scripted entertainment. Wow, No, I thought it was all real.
Speaker 2: I also thought Star Trek was real. I thought it
Speaker 2: was a documentary about going into outer space. I thought
Speaker 2: of Thrones were real. I thought those dragons were real dragons. Like,
Speaker 2: it's so insulting. It's like because when somebody says that
Speaker 2: to me, to me, it's like, what they're really saying
Speaker 2: is either they think I'm an idiot or or they
Speaker 2: they just or they just look down on something that
Speaker 2: I happen to, Like it's just because they don't like it.
Speaker 3: What's the sacond one? It's yeah, they're not calling you
Speaker 3: an idiot. I think it's them they're being idiots. It's
Speaker 3: it's like, you really think that we don't know. You
Speaker 3: really think we don't know? Oh, yes, we know they're
Speaker 3: going through tables and yes, how do you prevent that
Speaker 3: from being fake? What is it?
Speaker 2: AI?
Speaker 3: It's table to AI. This is just a character that's
Speaker 3: that's dropping on tails. It's really a big mattress pad
Speaker 3: that they fall. We know that they listen. It's it's
Speaker 3: fake to a point. Listen, you get bumps and bruises.
Speaker 3: That's the reason why there's injuries.
Speaker 2: Now, the injuries are real.
Speaker 3: You are taking risk, but it is calculated risks.
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not.
Speaker 3: We're not gonna throw somebody off of still cage and
Speaker 3: they're gonna land on concrete. No, there's gonna be something
Speaker 3: to break the fall. So there's not a serious injury, right,
Speaker 3: you know, it's it's that point there is still bumps
Speaker 3: and bruises, you know, it's people still deal with pain.
Speaker 2: Yeah. I may have told this story. I know I've told.
Speaker 2: I can't remember who I've told this story to and
Speaker 2: who I haven't, So I don't know if listeners have
Speaker 2: heard this yet or have heard this before, or if
Speaker 2: you have. Charles. But when I was a kid, so
Speaker 2: I had a friend who really looked down on wrestling,
Speaker 2: and we're having a conversation about it and uh, and
Speaker 2: he pulled that with me. He's like, well, you know
Speaker 2: it's fake, right, And I'm like, yeah, I know obviously,
Speaker 2: even when I was a kid, I mean I knew,
Speaker 2: I understood it was scripted entertainment. And I remember he
Speaker 2: said to me, he goes, well, if there's a if,
Speaker 2: it's all if it's all predetermined. Where's the integrity in it?
Speaker 2: That's literally what he said to me, where's the integrity?
Speaker 2: And I knew about him, And there's by the way,
Speaker 2: there's a horrible irony to what I'm about to say,
Speaker 2: But this is how the conversation went. I said to
Speaker 2: him because I knew he was a fan of the
Speaker 2: Cosby Show. So I said to him, I said, well,
Speaker 2: you like the Cosby Show, right, and he goes yeah,
Speaker 2: And I said, well, did you know that that's all fake?
Speaker 2: Did you know that Cliff Huxtable, that his name is
Speaker 2: an actually Cliff Huxtable, and that it's really Bill Cosby
Speaker 2: and he's an actor and that's not a real family.
Speaker 2: They're all actors and they're just pretending. Where's the integrity
Speaker 2: in the Cosby Now? Of course, again, what we know
Speaker 2: about Bill Cosby today, that's the part that makes it
Speaker 2: horribly ironic, uncomfortably so, actually, But we didn't know that.
Speaker 2: But I just remember saying that to him. It's like, yeah, well,
Speaker 2: where's the integrity in the Cosby Show? That's all fake?
Speaker 2: You know, it's all scripted, you know, But but again,
Speaker 2: you know, and that was when I was a kid
Speaker 2: and you know, here we are in twenty twenty six
Speaker 2: and people still come at us with that, and it's like, yeah,
Speaker 2: we know, it's fun.
Speaker 3: It's just it's just now, it's it's the circle of life.
Speaker 3: It's the circle of disbelief. That's what it is. You
Speaker 3: got these new new kids that are like it's fake,
Speaker 3: you know, yeah, And and you know what, in twenty years,
Speaker 3: it's gonna be the same thing. It's gonna be the
Speaker 3: same thing. But hopefully by then, maybe we you know,
Speaker 3: evolve from these apes of people that you know, would
Speaker 3: would like we would go to humans to understand that
Speaker 3: this is all entertainment. It's all it is. But it's fun.
Speaker 3: It's fun, just like you know, you ladies out there
Speaker 3: like your soap operas. You realize that Salem is not
Speaker 3: really a place. It's based on a place, but it's
Speaker 3: not really a place.
Speaker 2: Salem.
Speaker 3: Oh, I don't even know if it's Salem. Master. I
Speaker 3: think my wife says, like Illinois, they they they're based
Speaker 3: in Salem, Illinois. What day of our lives?
Speaker 2: Oh, days of our lives?
Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, you know it's like, you know, you got
Speaker 3: the I just love this, I love it. I don't
Speaker 3: watch it, trust me. But I've seen things that she
Speaker 3: watches on that soap opera. Literally, if there's like a
Speaker 3: fight and there they're holding some hostage at gunpoint, that
Speaker 3: gun point last for five episodes.
Speaker 2: Well yeah, you got to fill five.
Speaker 3: Where you gonna pull the trigger or lose control? What's
Speaker 3: going on here?
Speaker 2: Well well, yes, yeah, soap operas are paced a little
Speaker 2: differently than a weekly show because it's on five days
Speaker 2: a week. And I understand that because you know, I
Speaker 2: like I I grew up watching General Hospital.
Speaker 3: Uh.
Speaker 2: I blame that on my mother. She got me hooked
Speaker 2: on it one summer. And but but the thing is, yeah,
Speaker 2: well the thing is though General Hospital had and still
Speaker 2: does from what I understand to this day. You know,
Speaker 2: it had it had all the tropes of a soap opera,
Speaker 2: but it also had like this really strong action adventure
Speaker 2: element to it, you know, with with Russian spies and
Speaker 2: mob stories and you know, so uh so that's why,
Speaker 2: even as a little boy, I was able to get
Speaker 2: hooked into into that. But it also it's worth noting
Speaker 2: that some of those same elements about General Hospital are
Speaker 2: probably some of the same elements that got me hooked
Speaker 2: on wrestling. Because wrestling, so much of that is, you know,
Speaker 2: inspired by In terms of the storytelling soap operas.
Speaker 3: It is a soap opera is a male action soap
Speaker 3: opera that involves guys dressed in tights fighting each other
Speaker 3: in a ten by ten ring. Yes, and women too,
Speaker 3: speaking of those, Speaking of those athletes and tights, let's
Speaker 3: go over the matches tonight, Yes, yes, please, obviously I
Speaker 3: want to go ahead and get your picks as well
Speaker 3: as mine. Okay, it's gonna be a little odd to
Speaker 3: pick these because we're not picking one on ones. It
Speaker 3: will least for two of them. It's going to be
Speaker 3: which one of the five or six do you think
Speaker 3: is going to walk out of here? Okay, we already
Speaker 3: kind of you know, mentioned a little bit about the
Speaker 3: men's Cody, Javon Night, Logan, Randy, and Trick.
Speaker 2: Yeah. I think it's gonna be Cody.
Speaker 3: I I do too, But you know, if I had
Speaker 3: to go ahead and man, yeah, I after you told
Speaker 3: me what happened on Unreal, I don't think they have
Speaker 3: Ellie Knight doing it, and I think Trick and Javan
Speaker 3: they're too young right now. Yeah, Yeah, it's gonna come
Speaker 3: down to the two older people. When I really hope
Speaker 3: they fool us. I really hope they fool us and
Speaker 3: they go ahead and do Night or they do Javan.
Speaker 2: I really hope so yeah.
Speaker 3: But yeah, if I'm gonna put if I'm gonna have
Speaker 3: to put money on, it's Cody. Yeah, it's sad to say, and.
Speaker 2: It's definitely not gonna be Javan. They're not gonna be
Speaker 2: He's not gonna be in the main event of WrestleMania already.
Speaker 2: But he's got a long career ahead of him. He's
Speaker 2: got plenty of time, and so does Trick.
Speaker 3: I wouldn't be surprised if Logan. I'm seriously if the
Speaker 3: Vision gets involved, even though it's a cage match, you
Speaker 3: never know that that still hasn't stopped people from getting involved. Yeah,
Speaker 3: Logan would be my outside choice.
Speaker 2: Okay, okay, it would be interesting for.
Speaker 3: The women's here's what we got the lineup his Oscar,
Speaker 3: Alexa Bliss, Keana James, where Calvidriguez, Rhea and Tiffany Stratton.
Speaker 2: I think it's going to be Ria Ripley. You think so, Yeah,
Speaker 2: they want to get her into a women's main event, Yeah,
Speaker 2: I think so. Yeah.
Speaker 3: And another spoil she dropped the tag team titles to
Speaker 3: uh Nia Jackson Lash legend really stupid? Oh wow he
Speaker 3: lost last night?
Speaker 2: Okay, what happened after the uh and again spoiler alert,
Speaker 2: But so what happened after the match, because what I
Speaker 2: assume where they're going long term is, you know, Ria
Speaker 2: Ripley and E O. Sky obviously are very very buddy buddy,
Speaker 2: but eventually there is going to be a split. I'm
Speaker 2: curious what happens after the match. Did anything happen after
Speaker 2: the MA between them?
Speaker 3: I was reading it. I didn't watch it, but I
Speaker 3: was reading it at the time, the timetable of the blog. Uh,
Speaker 3: nothing exciting happened afterwards. They just celebrated.
Speaker 2: Okay, nothing happened between Io and Rhea, right, gotcha?
Speaker 3: Okay, so yeah, I kind of see Ria, But you
Speaker 3: know what, Tiffany came back from injury. I think she
Speaker 3: wants to take back her her rightful spot.
Speaker 2: There could be I could see that too. I could
Speaker 2: see them going with Tiffany Stratton.
Speaker 3: I'll go ahead and put my put my dollars on Tiffany.
Speaker 2: It's not going to be Alexa Bliss. It's obviously it's
Speaker 2: certainly not going to be a Keana James, uh who else?
Speaker 2: It's not gonna be It's not gonna be Oscar.
Speaker 3: Saying it should be nice though Alexa Bliss has been
Speaker 3: waiting a long time too since she came back.
Speaker 2: True, it's not gonna be her, though, I'd be very surprised.
Speaker 2: I think it's going to be either uh Tiffany Stratton
Speaker 2: or uh Riha Ripley one one one of one of
Speaker 2: those two.
Speaker 3: I'll take Tiffany's my horse.
Speaker 2: Okay, all right, all right.
Speaker 3: One of the two singles matches that is booked, This
Speaker 3: one here is for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. Is Becky
Speaker 3: and AJ first singles match for AJ in over ten years. Yeah,
Speaker 3: against the greatest of all time. It's not just me
Speaker 3: saying it, it's What's Illustrated saying it's.
Speaker 2: Meg TV saying the Bleacher Report says it.
Speaker 3: I'm so done with everybody else to say it. Oh
Speaker 3: my god, you're annoying as hell.
Speaker 2: Oh my god, Okay, Charles, hold on, we got to
Speaker 2: talk about this. I love Becky Lynch's promos. Yeah, oh
Speaker 2: my god. I have never been such a fan of
Speaker 2: Becky Lynch as I am right now. I love her
Speaker 2: promos I love when she does. That whole thing is
Speaker 2: not just me saying it's Sports Illustrated says it. I
Speaker 2: I Becky Lynch as a heel, and by the way,
Speaker 2: I only as a heel. As a baby face. I
Speaker 2: think she's dull as dirt, but as a heel I
Speaker 2: love I could. I wouldn't care if they just let
Speaker 2: her go out and talk for twenty minutes. I love
Speaker 2: everything she's doing as a heel right now. But it
Speaker 2: sounds like you're you're over it. Did you want to
Speaker 2: know the reason why I hate her promos? Why?
Speaker 3: It's just I cannot stand the stuttering. I cannot say
Speaker 3: it is a minor thing.
Speaker 2: Well, it's not. She doesn't stutter. She stammers.
Speaker 3: Well you know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's just people sometimes people say stutter when
Speaker 2: they mean stammer. Yeah.
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a stammer. We'll do that.
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3: But I can't stand it. I really, It's just it
Speaker 3: makes your sound really dumb, really like she doesn't know
Speaker 3: what she's talking about. But it's just like, you know,
Speaker 3: I kind of listen. AJ since she's came back has
Speaker 3: blown her away in every shape and form. She's kept
Speaker 3: it funny, comical, and she puts it. Oh man, she
Speaker 3: lays down facts.
Speaker 4: Oh it's that's just a fantastic, amazing on the mic. Oh,
Speaker 4: I agree, I agree. So, but coming back one on
Speaker 4: one match after ten years, no, I don't.
Speaker 3: See it, No, no much. I'd love AJ to go
Speaker 3: ahead and just take that title and make a run.
Speaker 3: I gotta put Becky on that, especially especially if Seth
Speaker 3: Rollins in that crate.
Speaker 2: You think it's Seth Rollins in the crate.
Speaker 3: I don't think it's uh Jericho because Jericho is still
Speaker 3: in the contract.
Speaker 2: Well, there's a rumor that it's Dan Housen, which would
Speaker 2: make sense, and I hope it is.
Speaker 3: That's another room. I actually, I actually, while I was
Speaker 3: waiting to get on the air, I went ahead in
Speaker 3: and a hide the question who is in the air.
Speaker 3: It came down it's either Chris Jericho, Dan Housen, Seth
Speaker 3: Rollins or Bianca Belle Air.
Speaker 2: It's not gonna beyond.
Speaker 3: There is the rumors of a person named Evil from
Speaker 3: New Japan.
Speaker 2: Well that would be a letdown. Nobody. Nobody's gonna know
Speaker 2: who that is.
Speaker 3: Nobody. Yeah, I think that's way out there. Yeah, so
Speaker 3: I think it's gonna be wouldn't be these four? I
Speaker 3: weiy these three now, Dan Housen, seth Rollins, Bianca Beler.
Speaker 3: I think they originally wanted Jericho in there, Yeah, but
Speaker 3: then they found out it's contracts frozen. Which how do
Speaker 3: you not know that when you make these plans and
Speaker 3: sign them under contract?
Speaker 2: Yeah, well unless somebody put that out there deliberately to
Speaker 2: throw us, because Jericho is a master of that. But
Speaker 2: but we don't even know. It might not be a
Speaker 2: person in the crate. It might be something an object
Speaker 2: in the crate that refers to the person who will
Speaker 2: then come out on stage. But if, but if, if
Speaker 2: someone literally emerges from the crate, it's probably Dan Housen. Yeah,
Speaker 2: and I hope so because that would be awesome because
Speaker 2: I've only seen a little bit of Dan Housen's work
Speaker 2: in aw but the little bit that I've seen I loved.
Speaker 2: He's fantastic. I hope it's Dan Housen, all right.
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm kind of looking forward to that. I haven't
Speaker 3: seen much of him, so yeah, but yeah, if he's
Speaker 3: half as incredible as I heard, yeah, then yeah, it
Speaker 3: would be nice to see.
Speaker 2: He's a lot of fun. That would be fun anyway.
Speaker 3: I got Becky on this match.
Speaker 2: Yeah me too, Me too say.
Speaker 3: And finally this match, which I kind of think is
Speaker 3: just a fluffer match really for seeing Punk Punk and Balor.
Speaker 3: I don't see Balo winning and him being the headline
Speaker 3: for WrestleMania, although I've gone back and forth and thinking
Speaker 3: see him. Punk has always wanted to headline WrestleMania. He
Speaker 3: did it last year. He's not as selfish as he
Speaker 3: once was before. Right, He's actually come back and helped
Speaker 3: out a lot of people. He's willing to go ahead
Speaker 3: and take bumps for people. He might do this because
Speaker 3: Finn Bauer earned it. He may drop the title for him.
Speaker 3: So Finn and Roman Reigns going at it.
Speaker 2: That's a problem, no, okay?
Speaker 3: So well, I mean they could always and this is
Speaker 3: what I said on my on the other show, I'm on,
Speaker 3: they can always pivot like they pivoted if with WrestleMania
Speaker 3: forty when it was supposed to be Rains against the
Speaker 3: Rock and everybody chanted Cody, you know, and Cody should
Speaker 3: make the decision. Blah blah blah. They can always pivot
Speaker 3: like they did. Then they can put the title on
Speaker 3: Finn and they got a month and a half before WrestleMania.
Speaker 3: They can get him rematch somewhere in there where Finn
Speaker 3: drops it again.
Speaker 2: That's a rumor that's out there. I hate that idea,
Speaker 2: and i'll tell you why I don't. First of all,
Speaker 2: I don't want anything interrupting the build between Roman Reigns
Speaker 2: and Sampot because that first face to face promo that
Speaker 2: they did was fire. I loved that promo. The other
Speaker 2: they can fight, I know. But the other problem but no,
Speaker 2: actually yet, well not at WrestleMania, because then it's going
Speaker 2: to be Roman Reigns versus Finn Balor if Baler's the champion.
Speaker 2: The other problem I have is I really don't like
Speaker 2: the idea of Balor wins the belt and then see
Speaker 2: him punk wins it back sometime between now and WrestleMania.
Speaker 2: Then you're hot shotting the title. I really don't like that.
Speaker 2: That's something I hated during the Attitude era, and I
Speaker 2: don't want to see it now. So I don't like
Speaker 2: that idea. I think what happens is Balor loses again,
Speaker 2: but he's clearly on his way I think to a
Speaker 2: to a full on baby face turn, and I think
Speaker 2: he will lose again. I think he will be humble
Speaker 2: about it and that will be his face turn and
Speaker 2: he'll he'll go back to being a babyface. That's what
Speaker 2: I think is gonna happen.
Speaker 3: Yeah, I've definitely seen the writing on the wall there
Speaker 3: where Finn is. Just listen, I don't need you guys.
Speaker 3: You know I want to do this alone. Yeah, let
Speaker 3: me do it while on what you know that that's
Speaker 3: the sign of a heel a face turn right there. Yeah,
Speaker 3: but yeah, I just let's see. Here's the thing. He's
Speaker 3: doing everything that Punk is telling him to do. You
Speaker 3: would think doing what he says that would make him champion. Dude,
Speaker 3: I don't know, man, It's it's tough. It's the heart
Speaker 3: wants to see Finn with the championship, but the timing
Speaker 3: right now is just not there yet. So I'm gonna
Speaker 3: go ahead and say Punk is gonna win. Yeah, Punk
Speaker 3: will win at Mania, and then Finn will get another
Speaker 3: chance at after Mania. Hm.
Speaker 2: Maybe, but I am. I am intrigued to see where
Speaker 2: they're going with Finn Balor. But but I don't think
Speaker 2: he wins the I don't think he wins the title tonight.
Speaker 2: Uh what what did you think of the promo? But
Speaker 2: between uh punk and Roman reigns.
Speaker 3: Oh, I agree with you. It was spot on fire.
Speaker 3: It was it was a volcano erupting on both ends.
Speaker 3: I loved it. I mean just to the point of,
Speaker 3: you know, is like I picked you because I hate you, yep,
Speaker 3: And this is gonna be the best ne of my
Speaker 3: life because I'm just gonna go ahead and beat you,
Speaker 3: to give you the beating you deserve. And am I
Speaker 3: take back my title? Blah blah blah. You know, I'm
Speaker 3: just waiting and waiting for the tribal chief to have
Speaker 3: a tribe again.
Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
Speaker 3: He hasn't had one yet. Yeah, And I think that's
Speaker 3: kind of I think somewhere along the line, I think
Speaker 3: it does come to where we finally get all the
Speaker 3: Samoans in line. I think we get fought too, we
Speaker 3: get the usos. I don't see Solo coming back on there.
Speaker 3: I think he's got his MFTs, which I will. I
Speaker 3: will go ahead and tell you I like Solo as
Speaker 3: that gangster, a gangster ither two.
Speaker 2: Jenny's commented on that too, that he's really grown in
Speaker 2: the role. I have a problem. I have a problem
Speaker 2: though with the MFT gimmick. I hate the face paint.
Speaker 2: It makes them, It makes them look like juggalos. This
Speaker 2: isn't this isn't supposed to be ICP. It's supposed to
Speaker 2: be MFT. It looks ridiculous on them, especially on Tomatonga.
Speaker 2: And I'll tell you why, because the great thing about
Speaker 2: Tomatonga is he's got a very expressive face and why
Speaker 2: would you want to hide it under all that makeup
Speaker 2: so much of what like, so much of what his
Speaker 2: character is is you know, he's got that weird sound
Speaker 2: that he makes, but also just his facial expressions that
Speaker 2: that's what makes him compelling as Tomatonga. And then you
Speaker 2: slap all that makeup on him and he covers his
Speaker 2: face and it looks I know, And I did read
Speaker 2: online that I guess that he and Tongala they wore
Speaker 2: the war paint when they were the Gorillas of Destiny
Speaker 2: in Japan. I just I just think it looks awful.
Speaker 2: I think they look ridiculous. I think it's they look
Speaker 2: like Juggalos. And again, no disrespect to the Juggalos. I
Speaker 2: played in a band one where we actually had some
Speaker 2: jugglers who were into us. So whatever, I'm.
Speaker 3: Laughing not has mean disagree. I actually can agree with
Speaker 3: you on that, but it's it's it's given them the identity.
Speaker 3: It really is that, you know, granted call them, you know,
Speaker 3: they look like jugglers, whatever the case may be, Juggles
Speaker 3: is still pretty. They're pretty bad Like that isn't good. Okay,
Speaker 3: I was gonna use you know, I was gonna use
Speaker 3: bad a, but you know we're in FM. You can
Speaker 3: say badass. That's not a problem. Bad ass. They're badasses.
Speaker 3: So that the paint, I don't think, like, you know,
Speaker 3: lowers their standard. I think it's just it is a
Speaker 3: look that they're going for.
Speaker 2: It's so bad. I think it looks so silly, like
Speaker 2: cringe when I say, it's like, what are you guys doing?
Speaker 3: They need they need I like this whole thing that
Speaker 3: they're doing against with the Wyat sixes. There needs to
Speaker 3: be more. There needs to be more cond texting that
Speaker 3: and to some point where hopefully there's still time that
Speaker 3: there is like a five on five family versus family match.
Speaker 3: I'm kind of hoping for that.
Speaker 2: They haven't done that already.
Speaker 3: No, they they've done Tag Team Champ because the not
Speaker 3: the uh the sixers are still tag Team Champions. I
Speaker 3: guess so many times they've defended that, how many like one?
Speaker 3: It's like, come on man, it's like nobody's really doing
Speaker 3: anything about these tag team titles. That's the that's the
Speaker 3: one downfall I have with with WW. Right now, Jake
Speaker 3: Carghill has defended the title twice once twice something like that.
Speaker 2: Yeah, where is she?
Speaker 3: Then she's over here talking about how she is the
Speaker 3: b now WW.
Speaker 2: I love her promos though, I love her. I love
Speaker 2: her as a heel. She's fantastic as a heel.
Speaker 3: I love her, But the point is fight.
Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to fight. That's okay. Though she's a heel.
Speaker 2: Heels are supposed to be a little bit cowardly, you know,
Speaker 2: to all time little bit.
Speaker 3: She is complete. Yeah, she's complete.
Speaker 2: Talk Yeah, loving her character though she she's believable too,
Speaker 2: Like when she delivers that line that we can't say
Speaker 2: on the air, she like you believe it, right, Like
Speaker 2: she's so good. She is so good.
Speaker 3: Yeah, promo wise, she's great. I keep hearing that she's
Speaker 3: really green. I mean I see her work. She's not
Speaker 3: that green.
Speaker 2: No, I think she gets a lot of unfair criticism.
Speaker 2: I've said I've said this from the beginning. I think
Speaker 2: she's better in the ring than she gets credit for.
Speaker 2: And I will also say she's improved a lot I had. Yeah,
Speaker 2: and she doesn't get the credit for it, though people
Speaker 2: online just crap all over. I think she's I think
Speaker 2: she's much better than she gets credit for.
Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I agree, she she's she's cleaned up love. Listen.
Speaker 3: I've seen her in some of these matches before. Oh yeah,
Speaker 3: I've seen botches all over the place. Sure, I see
Speaker 3: just like things like, oh man, is she gonna get
Speaker 3: up after that?
Speaker 2: Uh?
Speaker 3: But yeah, it's and again, like we had mentioned before,
Speaker 3: fakeer real, this is real, It is calculated, real. You
Speaker 3: are trained to take these bumps in a certain way.
Speaker 3: And with Jade doing the stuff she was doing when
Speaker 3: she first got called up, which is why you saw
Speaker 3: her sporadically, you know why, because her behind was down
Speaker 3: there in the performance center trying to work on her craft. Right,
Speaker 3: you know I could see why AW got rid of her.
Speaker 3: I mean, with the little the little integrity they have
Speaker 3: over there, a w Yeah, they needed they need to
Speaker 3: go ahead and just say all right, we can't have
Speaker 3: you injuring anybody else. Go get out of here, be gone.
Speaker 3: So but no, they they w W sees that the
Speaker 3: the talent there, and you know, they've worked with her,
Speaker 3: giving her chance after chance, and they saw something. That's
Speaker 3: why she was made Queen of the Ring, right, that's
Speaker 3: why she's currently a champion. Right.
Speaker 2: Oh, one other thing we had to wrap up soon.
Speaker 2: But just as we're talking about Jade Cargill and her
Speaker 2: being better than what she gets credit for, what do
Speaker 2: you think about Chelsea Green Because there's also been some
Speaker 2: controversy And again, I know you haven't watched the new
Speaker 2: season of Unreal, but one of the things that's come up,
Speaker 2: I'm sure you've seen the chatter about this online. You know,
Speaker 2: Michael Hayes kind of makes some comments in there indicating
Speaker 2: that Chelsea Green is you know, upper mid card, but
Speaker 2: that's kind of her ceiling. But she's you know, she's
Speaker 2: great at what she does. But but there's a lot
Speaker 2: of people who are saying, no, she should be in
Speaker 2: main events, like she's that good, she's that entertaining, and
Speaker 2: I tend to agree with that. I'm curious what you
Speaker 2: think because it seems to me everything she's ever been
Speaker 2: given to do, Chelsea Green, she knocks it out of
Speaker 2: the park. I mean, she's so good. And she's another
Speaker 2: example too of a heel. She's supposed to be a heel,
Speaker 2: but obviously the fans love her because she's so talented,
Speaker 2: and she's so good at everything she does, and she's
Speaker 2: so likable and funny. So I think she's I think
Speaker 2: she should be. I think she deserves a bigger push
Speaker 2: than she gets.
Speaker 3: What do you think There's a lot of people we
Speaker 3: could give pushes too that we want, right, we all
Speaker 3: thinking I should get a bigger push. You know, Chelsea Green,
Speaker 3: she You're right. She goes ahead and with what she
Speaker 3: has been given as the quote unquote you know president
Speaker 3: in her in her, the secret hervist, the hervest. Yes, yeah,
Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm thinking, that's such a stupid name. But
Speaker 3: that it's like, you know what she's running with it.
Speaker 3: Let's go ahead. I get it, I get it.
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's fun and she's a heel, so it can
Speaker 2: be stupid.
Speaker 3: But here's the thing. I think she's been put into
Speaker 3: a position of she's on an island where she's goofy,
Speaker 3: and it's like, you know, you can't take a main
Speaker 3: event or that's goofy. That's the problem with that is
Speaker 3: you know you and to to kind of retrospect on
Speaker 3: everything you take. You take like the Olsen Twins, there
Speaker 3: were child actresses. Yeah, you can't seriously as an adult
Speaker 3: actresses anymore, even though they're not coming back, but still
Speaker 3: you can't take them seriously. Yeah, they're always gonna be
Speaker 3: labeled child actresses. So are you gonna cast them in
Speaker 3: a leading role? No? Chelsea Green is put into this
Speaker 3: category unfortunately that she is a goofy, goofy character.
Speaker 2: Yeah. I think with a little bit of creativity, though,
Speaker 2: I think they could.
Speaker 3: She needs yes, and she needs to basically have her
Speaker 3: character redone. She can't go ahead with the harvest. She
Speaker 3: would have to be another another version of Chelsea Green
Speaker 3: to go ahead and make any type of serious move.
Speaker 2: I don't think it's so much another version as just
Speaker 2: take her, just evolve her in a way, maybe make
Speaker 2: her a little bit more serious, maybe maybe do a
Speaker 2: babyface turn.
Speaker 3: But but if you if you were to go ahead
Speaker 3: and be creative to Chelsea Green, how would you go
Speaker 3: ahead and pivot that baby face? I don't think would
Speaker 3: be enough.
Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think I think they can get there.
Speaker 2: With her because I mean, it'd be worth taking the
Speaker 2: risk because, like I said, everything they've ever given her
Speaker 2: to do, she succeeds. Yeah, you know, I kind of
Speaker 2: I kind of think of her the way I used
Speaker 2: to think of Live Morgan, because for a long time,
Speaker 2: I would think, why isn't Live Morgan in main events?
Speaker 2: She's got everything, she is so good. I was saying
Speaker 2: this a couple of years ago and then but fortunately
Speaker 2: in the case of Live Morgan, they did finally figure
Speaker 2: it out, and now she's a main eventor and she's incredible.
Speaker 2: But she's she's kind of in that same category in
Speaker 2: my mind where I used to think Live Morgan. She's
Speaker 2: perpetually stuck in the mid card. But everything they've ever
Speaker 2: given her to do, she succeeds. She's so good, she's
Speaker 2: good at everything, promos or in ringwork, everything she does
Speaker 2: is so good. Why isn't she in main events? But
Speaker 2: she did get there.
Speaker 3: They got there with her, and she probably went ahead
Speaker 3: and voiced her opinion, and Chelsea Green may not be
Speaker 3: her opinion as much as she should.
Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe, who knows.
Speaker 3: So probably it's a lot of back at politics type stuff.
Speaker 3: That's probably where you're hearing all this.
Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Charles, we are rapidly approaching the top of
Speaker 2: the hour. We got to go. But I appreciate you
