By the way, so speaking of shows, and you know what I do here at WM and H. Of course I do Matt condorton Unleashed every Saturday morning here. We are live from nine am to twelve noon Eastern time, you know. And of course we have a lot of listeners locally here in Manchester, and we have listeners online from all over the place, obviously even from Europe because we interview a lot of artists from Europe. But I also have been doing I just want to mention this briefly because I want to say thank you to some people and just express some gratitude.
I've always for well not always, but for many many years, and I've lost track of how many it is, but I've been kind of on twice here. Well actually even more than twice because for a long time this show was weekday afternoons, but I've been on two different shows. So of course I host this show every Saturday morning currently here, and I also on Friday nights again for many years I've been a co host on Retro Spectrum Radio on Friday nights here on WM ANDH. And I just want to let people know and I do want to say so thank you.
Last night was my last night on retro Spectrum Radio. Does not affect this show in any way. So we will continue here, of course, but I will no longer be on that show. But I did want to say thank you to everyone who listens to the show who has been a fan of the show. The show, as far as I know, will continue without me. Like the song says, life goes on without me, but I will, but I will not be there. So so sixteen years total. Something that Retrospectrum Radio and this show both have in common in that not only you know, my involvement of course obviously, but also just like this show, that show started as a podcast before coming to FM radio, so same path as this show, you know, partly because of my involvement, of course, but but yeah, we started that show sixteen years ago originally as a podcast, and you know, it's it's grown over the years, obviously, and we brought it to WM and H and I've been very proud and happy to have been a big part of that, of course, and you know, working with Paul on that Paul of course as the host, and I've been as like I said, I've been as co host for sixteen years total, not sixteen years consecutively, because there were there were times when we did not do the show, but the show's been pretty consistent here at WM and H for I don't know, I lose track at time, more and more so as I get older, I just lose track.
It all becomes a blur. Since what twenty nine, I mean it was before the pandemic when we started it, so so a long time. So obviously over the course of that time, you know, listeners of that show have gotten to know me, and I just want to say thank you to everybody who has supported the show, and of course all the great people that I worked with on that show. I was Paul's co host consistently for the entire time, but there's been various other people too who have come and gone over the years, and you know, and of course at the end we had Glenn and Brooklyn, Mike, they were there last night, of course, and so yeah, quite a run.
But the time has come we have parted ways again. I assume the show will continue, but I did want to say thank you to all the listeners of that program, everyone who has been a supportive of the show and of me. If you you know, if you were listening. You know, if I had anything to do with drawing you into that show, thank you, thank you for supporting and of course all the great people that I worked with on that show, and thank you to Paul. You know, we had a good run. But it's time to move on again.
This show continues. I will still be here every Saturday morning. But you know, the reality is, I do have a lot of projects. I do have a lot going on. I've got anyone who knows me at all knows I'm a very, very busy guy. So having my Friday nights a little less structure than they have been for the past, I don't know, however many years now, quite a few years, not a bad thing, not a bad thing. So so we go forward from there. This is not me stepping away from that show temporarily, not me just you know, taking a break from it.
This is permanent. I will not be back on that program. But so I just wanted to let everyone know that, and again just express some gratitude, you know, for everyone who's been supportive and and you know, I did hear from some people. Some people reached out to me, you know, and the details don't matter, But I'm just saying I want to I want to end officially because I didn't have a chance to do it last night, but I do want to end my tenure on that program on a on a positive note and and again express gratitude to everyone who's been so supportive.
And I assume the show will continue, and you know, there's there's no shortage of people who enjoy being on that program. I'm sure so. Retrospecttion Radio Friday nights here on WMNH ninety five point three FM, and of course going forward, we continue on with Matt Connorton Unleashed every Saturday morning right here on WMNH ninety five point three FM.
