0:12 Speaker 1: listeners locally here in Manchester, and we have listeners online

0:15 Speaker 1: from all over the place, obviously even from Europe because

0:19 Speaker 1: we interview a lot of artists from Europe. But I

0:22 Speaker 1: also have been doing I just want to mention this

0:25 Speaker 1: briefly because I want to say thank you to some

0:27 Speaker 1: people and just express some gratitude. I've always for well

0:30 Speaker 1: not always, but for many many years, and I've lost

0:34 Speaker 1: track of how many it is, but I've been kind

0:36 Speaker 1: of on twice here. Well actually even more than twice

0:39 Speaker 1: because for a long time this show was weekday afternoons,

0:42 Speaker 1: but I've been on two different shows. So of course

0:44 Speaker 1: I host this show every Saturday morning currently here, and

0:48 Speaker 1: I also on Friday nights again for many years I've

0:52 Speaker 1: been a co host on Retro Spectrum Radio on Friday

0:55 Speaker 1: nights here on WM ANDH. And I just want to

0:57 Speaker 1: let people know and I do want to say so

1:00 Speaker 1: thank you. Last night was my last night on retro

1:04 Speaker 1: Spectrum Radio. Does not affect this show in any way.

1:07 Speaker 1: So we will continue here, of course, but I will

1:10 Speaker 1: no longer be on that show. But I did want

1:11 Speaker 1: to say thank you to everyone who listens to the

1:14 Speaker 1: show who has been a fan of the show. The show,

1:17 Speaker 1: as far as I know, will continue without me. Like

1:19 Speaker 1: the song says, life goes on without me, but I will,

1:23 Speaker 1: but I will not be there. So so sixteen years total.

1:28 Speaker 1: Something that Retrospectrum Radio and this show both have in

1:31 Speaker 1: common in that not only you know, my involvement of

1:36 Speaker 1: course obviously, but also just like this show, that show

1:39 Speaker 1: started as a podcast before coming to FM radio, so

1:44 Speaker 1: same path as this show, you know, partly because of

1:47 Speaker 1: my involvement, of course, but but yeah, we started that

1:50 Speaker 1: show sixteen years ago originally as a podcast, and you know,

1:55 Speaker 1: it's it's grown over the years, obviously, and we brought

1:58 Speaker 1: it to WM and H and I've been very proud

2:00 Speaker 1: and happy to have been a big part of that,

2:02 Speaker 1: of course, and you know, working with Paul on that

2:05 Speaker 1: Paul of course as the host, and I've been as

2:07 Speaker 1: like I said, I've been as co host for sixteen

2:09 Speaker 1: years total, not sixteen years consecutively, because there were there

2:13 Speaker 1: were times when we did not do the show, but

2:15 Speaker 1: the show's been pretty consistent here at WM and H

2:18 Speaker 1: for I don't know, I lose track at time, more

2:21 Speaker 1: and more so as I get older, I just lose track.

2:22 Speaker 1: It all becomes a blur. Since what twenty nine, I

2:25 Speaker 1: mean it was before the pandemic when we started it,

2:27 Speaker 1: so so a long time. So obviously over the course

2:33 Speaker 1: of that time, you know, listeners of that show have

2:34 Speaker 1: gotten to know me, and I just want to say

2:37 Speaker 1: thank you to everybody who has supported the show, and

2:40 Speaker 1: of course all the great people that I worked with

2:42 Speaker 1: on that show. I was Paul's co host consistently for

2:46 Speaker 1: the entire time, but there's been various other people too

2:48 Speaker 1: who have come and gone over the years, and you know,

2:51 Speaker 1: and of course at the end we had Glenn and Brooklyn, Mike,

2:55 Speaker 1: they were there last night, of course, and so yeah,

2:58 Speaker 1: quite a run. But the time has come we have

3:02 Speaker 1: parted ways again. I assume the show will continue, but

3:04 Speaker 1: I did want to say thank you to all the

3:07 Speaker 1: listeners of that program, everyone who has been a supportive

3:10 Speaker 1: of the show and of me. If you you know,

3:11 Speaker 1: if you were listening. You know, if I had anything

3:15 Speaker 1: to do with drawing you into that show, thank you,

3:18 Speaker 1: thank you for supporting and of course all the great

3:20 Speaker 1: people that I worked with on that show, and thank

3:22 Speaker 1: you to Paul. You know, we had a good run.

3:24 Speaker 1: But it's time to move on again. This show continues.

3:28 Speaker 1: I will still be here every Saturday morning. But you know,

3:31 Speaker 1: the reality is, I do have a lot of projects.

3:34 Speaker 1: I do have a lot going on. I've got anyone

3:36 Speaker 1: who knows me at all knows I'm a very, very

3:39 Speaker 1: busy guy. So having my Friday nights a little less

3:43 Speaker 1: structure than they have been for the past, I don't know,

3:46 Speaker 1: however many years now, quite a few years, not a

3:50 Speaker 1: bad thing, not a bad thing. So so we go

3:54 Speaker 1: forward from there. This is not me stepping away from

3:56 Speaker 1: that show temporarily, not me just you know, taking a

3:59 Speaker 1: break from it. This is permanent. I will not be

4:01 Speaker 1: back on that program. But so I just wanted to

4:04 Speaker 1: let everyone know that, and again just express some gratitude,

4:06 Speaker 1: you know, for everyone who's been supportive and and you know,

4:09 Speaker 1: I did hear from some people. Some people reached out

4:11 Speaker 1: to me, you know, and the details don't matter, But

4:14 Speaker 1: I'm just saying I want to I want to end

4:17 Speaker 1: officially because I didn't have a chance to do it

4:19 Speaker 1: last night, but I do want to end my tenure
