4:18 Speaker 10: Well let's see, this might be an interesting fact, but

4:22 Speaker 10: we did the whole thing in two hours. No, yeah,

4:25 Speaker 10: everything you're hearing today is the first take live in

4:28 Speaker 10: the studio.

4:29 Speaker 8: No overdubs, that's that's a record. When you started that sentence,

4:33 Speaker 8: I thought you were going to say, yeah, we did

4:35 Speaker 8: the whole thing in two weeks or two hours.

4:39 Speaker 10: Two hours from start to mastered, ready to release with

4:43 Speaker 10: six days.

4:44 Speaker 8: Good lord, Superbug, Ladies and Gentlemen, the most efficient band.

4:49 Speaker 8: Yeah on Earth. That's incredible.

4:51 Speaker 11: Yeah, we just went in, played live and we got

4:53 Speaker 11: to do five. That was the plan, like half the album. Yeah,

4:57 Speaker 11: it just started to be a favorite. Pulled out Mike,

5:14 Speaker 11: started rolling and we had actually talked about it before that. Yeah,

5:17 Speaker 11: you know, hey, if we start rolling, let's just keep

5:19 Speaker 11: going and get all ten and wow, sure enough that's

5:23 Speaker 8: That's incredible.

5:24 Speaker 10: We didn't even listen to it, like, we didn't played

5:26 Speaker 10: the first one. He's like, you want to hear it,

5:27 Speaker 10: Like nope, go no kidding. Yeah, yeah, Like there's I

5:32 Speaker 10: think there's two clams on the whole thing. Uh, you know,

5:35 Speaker 10: but it wasn't worth redoing it. I think out of

5:38 Speaker 10: the ten songs, seven of them were first take, two

5:40 Speaker 10: of them were second take, and there was one that

5:42 Speaker 10: we had to restart three times. Really, but yeah, we

5:45 Speaker 10: were in and out of there in two hours and went,

5:46 Speaker 10: you know, to the brewery and had a beer.

5:48 Speaker 8: That's incredible. Yeah.

5:49 Speaker 10: Well, Now the funny thing is everybody that goes to

5:52 Speaker 10: work with him, he's like, you guys are the standard?

5:54 Speaker 9: Is this now what I expect?

5:56 Speaker 12: Well?

5:57 Speaker 8: He was great. Well where did you record? Uh?

6:00 Speaker 9: Dave Palmer Garlic Rock Studios Conquered?

6:03 Speaker 8: Okay, oh, Dave Palmer that I'm not sure that I

6:07 Speaker 8: actually know him, but the only but I know that name,

6:10 Speaker 8: and it's probably because of you guys, because I think

6:12 Speaker 8: he just friended me on Facebook or something probably, So yeah, yeah,

6:16 Speaker 8: I saw we had a lot of mutual friends, of course,

6:18 Speaker 8: so of course accepted him. Okay, So was it your

6:21 Speaker 8: first time working with him? Yeah?

6:22 Speaker 9: Yeah, I hadn't even met him until that day.

6:25 Speaker 10: The reason we went there is Parker wasn't crazy about

6:28 Speaker 10: the drum sound on the first record, so we wanted

6:30 Speaker 10: to find a guy that had the kit set up

6:31 Speaker 10: in the studio and everything was dialed in so we

6:34 Speaker 10: didn't have to play with it. And he recorded with

6:36 Speaker 10: another band he's playing with stage in the Tumbleweeds. They

6:39 Speaker 10: went up there and did a session. He liked the

6:41 Speaker 10: drum sound, and so we said, let's just go in

6:43 Speaker 10: and do it, and yeah, we caught fire and just

6:46 Speaker 10: went wow, Yeah, it was insane.

6:48 Speaker 8: That's incredible, all right. So a lot of musicians listen

6:52 Speaker 8: to the show. So for somebody who wants to be

6:54 Speaker 8: able to do that, to go in and record an

6:56 Speaker 8: album in two hours, what advice do you have for them?

6:58 Speaker 10: Go in rehearsed, don't go to you know, don't go

7:01 Speaker 10: in the studio and decide to write a song or

7:03 Speaker 10: arrange it there right right right, Yeah, you're wasting everybody's time.

7:09 Speaker 10: It's like, if you can and if you can't pull

7:11 Speaker 10: it off live, don't go try and do it in

7:13 Speaker 10: the studio. Yeah, I mean, that's my advice. But we're

7:16 Speaker 10: we're at me and Worm in particular, very impatient. We

7:18 Speaker 10: don't want to do things one hundred times. We want

7:20 Speaker 10: to go and get it done. Is it good enough?

7:22 Speaker 8: Yes?

7:22 Speaker 10: Let's move on, right But yeah, so right now, working

7:27 Speaker 10: towards the next one. We're probably planning on being in

7:29 Speaker 10: this winter.

7:30 Speaker 9: Again. Wow, good for you, Good for you guys.

7:32 Speaker 8: You know what this makes me think about is, you know,

7:34 Speaker 8: like like you guys were saying, you know, don't be

7:36 Speaker 8: writing in the studio and arranging. And you see these

7:39 Speaker 8: documentaries of like these classic rock bands where they're in

7:43 Speaker 8: the studio. You know, of course there are classic rock

7:45 Speaker 8: bands who are very successful, who have, you know, just

7:47 Speaker 8: all the money in the world. So there you see

7:49 Speaker 8: these documentaries where they're in the studio and they're writing

7:53 Speaker 8: in the studio as they're recording the album, and they're

7:55 Speaker 8: experimenting with all these different things, and you know, and

7:58 Speaker 8: you can tell they're just burning money, you know, but

8:01 Speaker 8: of course they have all of the It doesn't matter.

8:03 Speaker 10: And you know i'd like to point out too, is

8:05 Speaker 10: do what works for you. I mean, obviously it's not

8:08 Speaker 10: gonna work for everybody. And I don't want to say

8:11 Speaker 10: most guitar players, but a lot of guitar players are fussy.

8:13 Speaker 10: You know, everything's got to be perfect, and this that yeah,

8:16 Speaker 10: I'm kind of raw. I don't I don't I don't care.

8:18 Speaker 10: I actually like hearing on the recording where I turned

8:20 Speaker 10: a pedal on or off. Yeah, I think it's cool.

8:23 Speaker 10: You know, it makes it sound live.

8:25 Speaker 8: I agree. I agree.

8:26 Speaker 9: I'm a fan.

8:27 Speaker 10: I can point to it and go, oops, I made

8:29 Speaker 10: that chord change a little too quick to get to

8:30 Speaker 10: the solo. But I you know, it's cool for me

8:33 Speaker 10: because hey, we didn't have to just play it and

8:35 Speaker 10: go back and overdub the solo or something.

8:37 Speaker 9: So it was great. I can't wait to do it again.

8:40 Speaker 4: Yeah.

8:40 Speaker 10: Yeah, one guitar, I mean one setup. I think I

8:44 Speaker 10: one of the songs will be listening to today. Gray

8:46 Speaker 10: on Sunday, I went to the neck pick up and

8:48 Speaker 10: you can really hear it. Go go lo e and

8:51 Speaker 10: I kind of laugh about it, but it's cool. It

8:54 Speaker 10: helps make it a little bit, you know.

8:55 Speaker 8: Yeah.

8:56 Speaker 10: Yeah, So I don't mind those little hidden errors because there,

8:59 Speaker 10: you know, it's just cool. Like I think there's time

9:02 Speaker 10: as on my side by the stones, the tambourine on

9:04 Speaker 10: that is off time. If you listen to it, I

9:07 Speaker 10: think Brian Jones is playing it. But that's what makes

9:09 Speaker 10: it cool, you know, And most people don't notice that

9:11 Speaker 10: sort of thing.

9:12 Speaker 8: Right character I never noticed that on times on my side.

9:15 Speaker 10: So now listen to it. You're gonna go, oh yeah,

9:17 Speaker 10: that is a bit.

9:17 Speaker 8: I'm gonna listen to it later today. I'm gonna have

9:19 Speaker 8: to now, yeah, because I love that kind of stuff.

9:21 Speaker 8: Oh that's interesting, that's interesting.

9:23 Speaker 9: So we were not shooting for perfection, right right.

9:26 Speaker 8: Yeah, but I think what you what you did get

9:28 Speaker 8: is something even cooler, you know, so.

9:32 Speaker 10: It I think it's a great snapshot of us live too,

9:34 Speaker 10: because it just boom like a steamroller coming at you, right.

9:38 Speaker 10: And it's over quick too, because I think the whole

9:40 Speaker 10: records what probably about a half hour.

9:43 Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, so it's like what just happened.

9:47 Speaker 8: We were also talking off air, you guys played at

9:50 Speaker 8: Pembroke City Limits. Yes, shout out to Rob yep, Rob

9:53 Speaker 8: as a video of course, he's a colleague guy here

9:56 Speaker 8: at YEOS show here, great show called Grantited State of

9:59 Speaker 8: Mind on.

10:00 Speaker 10: He's played us on that as well.

10:01 Speaker 8: Oh yeah, yeah, absolutely, Now how did you? Because we

10:05 Speaker 8: were also talking off aer Superbug is not the kind

10:07 Speaker 8: of band the Rob necessary, I mean, don't get me wrong.

10:10 Speaker 8: You know, since Pemberke City Limits opened hour many years

10:12 Speaker 8: has been now at least track of time, it's been

10:14 Speaker 8: a few years now, right, or at least two maybe

10:16 Speaker 8: three years, and it's you know, there's been a variety

10:19 Speaker 8: of different kinds of artists that have played there, but

10:22 Speaker 8: not necessarily something quite like Superbug.

10:25 Speaker 10: Well, I can tell you exactly how it happened. I

10:27 Speaker 10: bugged him quite a bit, but he had a big

10:29 Speaker 10: fear that we're going to be too loud. Yeah, So

10:31 Speaker 10: I went and watched, I think, with Parker and some friends,

10:34 Speaker 10: Andrew North and the Rangers, yep. And I immediately went

10:37 Speaker 10: over to Rob and I said, we're not going to

10:39 Speaker 10: be louder than these guys, yeah, you know, and he

10:42 Speaker 10: took the bait. I brought him a record, you know,

10:45 Speaker 10: schmoozed him up a bit, and he gave us a

10:48 Speaker 10: shot at it. And it's sure enough. It was wild

10:51 Speaker 10: for me because there's no way I could bring a

10:53 Speaker 10: tube band there, which I can't get low enough in volume,

10:56 Speaker 10: so I had to bring a little ten inch solid

10:57 Speaker 10: state fender and even that was kind of too loud,

11:00 Speaker 10: really yeah, yeah, which is weird being on stage that quiet,

11:03 Speaker 10: but when you hear it from the audience, he's right,

11:05 Speaker 10: it's it's perfect. Yeah, but we found our setup, we

11:09 Speaker 10: dialed it in, we muted the drums enough and it

11:11 Speaker 10: actually sounded great.

11:13 Speaker 8: Yeah. No, that's awesome. Did you have to kind of

11:15 Speaker 8: adjust so the I mean, in terms of the way

11:18 Speaker 8: you were playing at that show, did you have to adjust?

11:20 Speaker 11: Yeah, because you know, I didn't really. I guess I

11:23 Speaker 11: played loud and it's kind of hard, but yeah, you

11:25 Speaker 11: got to tone it down.

11:26 Speaker 8: What was it difficult? A little bit?

11:28 Speaker 9: Yeah, but I'm trying to practice that a little bit, so.

11:32 Speaker 8: I yeah, you know, I'd imagine it's probably like a

11:35 Speaker 8: like a UFC fighter having a professional wrestling match, and

11:38 Speaker 8: they have to kind of pull their punches, you know,

11:40 Speaker 8: and figure out how to do that without screwing.

11:42 Speaker 9: Up and keep the energy and keep the energy.

11:45 Speaker 8: Yeah.

11:45 Speaker 10: Well, the cool part was the last time we played,

11:49 Speaker 10: during our second set, he said, okay, you can come

11:51 Speaker 10: up a little bit. Oh okay, So you know, and

11:53 Speaker 10: it's cool and great crowd there. People really like music. Yeah,

11:57 Speaker 10: and yeah, those those are a couple of the betters

12:00 Speaker 10: that we've ever played. I mean, it was it was

12:01 Speaker 10: it was just fun, yeah, and it was a big

12:03 Speaker 10: deal to us because you know, I was all you know, sad, like, hey,

12:07 Speaker 10: why doesn't conquered area you want to play, you know,

12:10 Speaker 10: let us play, And the fact that they let us

12:11 Speaker 10: in finally. Yeah, and we've been back, you know once,

12:15 Speaker 10: and we're scheduled again in October, so outstanding. Yeah, it's great,

12:18 Speaker 10: So thanks Robby. Really uh myself, it made me super happy, Yeah,

12:22 Speaker 10: get the band too, Like it made me feel a

12:25 Speaker 10: part of you know, part of something right right.

12:27 Speaker 8: Well. It also probably opened up Rob's mind a bit

12:30 Speaker 8: to having you know, some louder bands or yah.

12:33 Speaker 10: Yeah, he's He's definitely had some heavier accent there, which

12:35 Speaker 10: is secret, little behind the scenes thing. The bartenders are

12:39 Speaker 10: happy about that, but yeah, I don't know if they

12:40 Speaker 10: share that with him, but I've heard stuff. Yeah, yeah,

12:45 Speaker 10: they like the variety, right right, well.

12:47 Speaker 8: Very good when you when you played there most recently,

12:51 Speaker 8: did you play I assumed you played songs from the

12:53 Speaker 8: new album.

12:53 Speaker 10: Oh yeah, even songs that aren't on this record that

12:56 Speaker 10: are new. I mean, we're always writing all the time,

12:57 Speaker 10: so yeah, yeah, in the old classics from the first one,

13:00 Speaker 10: even a couple of covers we did because we know

13:03 Speaker 10: actually I can't say the word, but Rob's got a

13:06 Speaker 10: big Neil young poster up there. So the first time

13:08 Speaker 10: we played f and up via Pearl Jam, so that

13:11 Speaker 10: was kind of cool. It was kind of like, hey,

13:12 Speaker 10: let's throw Rob a bone and give him a good cover.

13:14 Speaker 8: Oh, that's really cool.

13:15 Speaker 10: Yeah, because we typically, especially lately, we're not playing really

13:18 Speaker 10: any covers at all in our sets. We would always

13:20 Speaker 10: have one in there. Yeah, but now it's just been like,

13:23 Speaker 10: why are we gonna waste it? We got some good

13:25 Speaker 10: stuff too, let's put ours in there instead.

13:26 Speaker 8: Well that's nice too. When you get to that point

13:28 Speaker 8: where it's like, yeah, we don't really need to play covers.

13:30 Speaker 10: I always felt like that, it's trying to get everybody

13:32 Speaker 10: else on board.

13:33 Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah. I was in a band called the Jinkst

13:35 Speaker 8: a very long time ago, and those guys always wanted

13:37 Speaker 8: to do covers and I was always but our I

13:39 Speaker 8: felt our original material was really strong, so I was.

13:41 Speaker 8: It was just a constant battle in that band, you know,

13:44 Speaker 8: especially when they were pulling out, Like at one point

13:46 Speaker 8: they wanted to do talk Dirty to Me by Poison,

13:49 Speaker 8: and I was like, you guys are killing me, Adam.

13:51 Speaker 10: Adam would do that at the drop of a hat.

13:54 Speaker 10: I love that song too. We could do it just

13:56 Speaker 10: because it's funny. Yeah, you know, but Adam loves poison.

13:59 Speaker 10: He's got a poison sure, so he has a Yeah,

14:00 Speaker 10: he's a throwback. He loves Cinderella. Yeah, I mean, I like,

14:05 Speaker 10: talk dirty to me, But the rest of it, I

14:07 Speaker 10: think I can live with.

14:08 Speaker 8: That, right right, no doubt. As as an aside, they

14:12 Speaker 8: were in the news recently because they were supposed to

14:14 Speaker 8: do their fortieth anniversary tour. Did you see this? Yeah,

14:16 Speaker 8: apparently Brett Michaels wanted way too much money, way more

14:19 Speaker 8: money than the other three guys, and it all fell apart.

14:21 Speaker 9: Yep, that man, that's what happens.

14:23 Speaker 8: You know.

14:24 Speaker 9: Even being in a band ain't easy.

14:25 Speaker 10: I mean you got to you gotta deal with everybody's schedules,

14:28 Speaker 10: you know, you gotta deal with all the personalities and everything.

14:30 Speaker 9: I mean, it takes a real commitment, it does.

14:32 Speaker 8: You have to want to absolutely. Paul Stanley I heard

14:36 Speaker 8: once describe it as it's like when you're in a

14:38 Speaker 8: band with three other guys. It's like a four way marriage.

14:41 Speaker 9: Yeah, that's accurate.

14:41 Speaker 8: And and somebody else said two on the show. It's like,

14:46 Speaker 8: I wish I could remember who said it, because it

14:47 Speaker 8: was such a good insight. It's like it's like being

14:50 Speaker 8: in a relationship with three other people or four other

14:52 Speaker 8: people depending, uh, and being but being in a relationship

14:56 Speaker 8: not only with them, but with everyone that they're in

14:58 Speaker 8: a relationship A resolutely Yeah, yep, that's true. Well, we

15:04 Speaker 8: should play another track from the new album. I'll let

15:05 Speaker 8: you guys pick. What do you want to what do

15:07 Speaker 8: you want to play an X?

15:08 Speaker 9: You want to do Gray or you want to do Eternal.

15:11 Speaker 8: Let's do Gray do Gray grands on day? Sure? Tell

15:14 Speaker 10: I will actually so, actually if I can go back

15:17 Speaker 10: to the first one, immigration and that message.

15:20 Speaker 8: There, Oh yes, it's all Greek to me.

15:22 Speaker 10: Yeah, it's all Greek to me, so were wanted me

15:24 Speaker 10: to share that. What inspired him on that is he

15:26 Speaker 10: just found it ridiculous to think that somebody is less

15:29 Speaker 10: of a person than you because they weren't born on

15:31 Speaker 10: the same piece of earth, which I think is factual.

15:34 Speaker 10: So that was the message behind that one. This one

15:37 Speaker 10: is really just about losing somebody you love and not

15:40 Speaker 10: having the chance to say goodbye.

15:41 Speaker 8: Yeah, this is this song kind of stands out to

15:45 Speaker 8: me too, him that it's I feel like it's it's

15:48 Speaker 8: more melancholy than than I would agree than your other stuff.

15:52 Speaker 9: We saw a slow song, but the tempo is probably

15:54 Speaker 9: about one thirty five.

15:55 Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, yeah, but it's got but it's got a vibe.

15:57 Speaker 9: Yeah yeah, yeah, we really like this one.

16:00 Speaker 10: This happened Adam headed out cracked his classical skateboard, you know,

16:04 Speaker 10: because he's he's he's bah. So he was out there

16:07 Speaker 10: skateboard and like most almost fifty year old men should you.

16:11 Speaker 8: I was trying to appreciate, appreciate it.

16:14 Speaker 10: So while he was doing that, this is something that

16:16 Speaker 10: Parker and I kind of plugged away at. So when

16:19 Speaker 10: he was ready for action, he just had to put

16:20 Speaker 10: his bass magic on it, and uh we could hand

16:23 Speaker 10: it over to Worm. Most of our stuff the bandle

16:25 Speaker 10: iron it out and then kind of submitted over to

16:27 Speaker 10: Worm for him to put his lyrics on top. Okay,

16:30 Speaker 10: and the same one with this one. So uh yeah,

16:33 Speaker 10: I would say that's the message behind it. But if

22:48 Speaker 10: three weeks like the record was ready to go out.

22:49 Speaker 10: We're still waiting to finish the artwork, and uh, you

22:53 Speaker 10: know he's you know, he's a man of mystery all respect.

22:56 Speaker 10: So he he gave it to us, but he had

22:59 Speaker 10: comfortable misspell draw on it. Oh no, And I was

23:02 Speaker 10: just like, whatever, I just want to put it out there.

23:04 Speaker 10: I'll make it seem more juvenile, so be it. And

23:06 Speaker 10: I was gonna buy an article, buy a page advertisement

23:10 Speaker 10: in paper jam. So Sheila and Tony great people up there.

23:16 Speaker 10: comfortable is misspelled, and I'm like, yeah, I was gonna

23:18 Speaker 10: roll it whatever, and thank you Sheila. She had the

23:23 Speaker 10: letter that was wrong okay, which was perfect. She's like

23:27 Speaker 10: here and she also helped out. She put the three

26:07 Speaker 10: we've been a band now that what works best for us.

26:14 Speaker 10: so we took three weeks to a month off. Yeah,

26:17 Speaker 10: and then just playing for the first time the other night,

26:20 Speaker 10: I was like, holy crap, Like there's no song you

26:22 Speaker 10: can take off, Like this is not easy stuff to

26:24 Speaker 10: do and the pace is there. But that's cool, you know,

26:27 Speaker 10: it's exactly. It's still very exciting to play anything, you

26:32 Speaker 10: know what I mean.

26:37 Speaker 10: Five years since I joined the band?

26:57 Speaker 11: our guitarist Rick okay, and then he decided he wanted

27:01 Speaker 11: to do other things, so Okay came on and uh,

27:07 Speaker 10: And I have been playing for thirty years with Dent,

27:10 Speaker 10: which we still play with. Oh wow, So yeah, I'm

27:13 Speaker 10: I'm I'm parking and I are both juggling two bands

27:16 Speaker 10: right now. Yeah, Superbug is the main one, of course,

27:18 Speaker 10: but you know, it's but it's great to have that

27:20 Speaker 10: creative outlet.

27:21 Speaker 8: Yeah.

27:21 Speaker 10: If I write something and I get two rhythm sections

27:24 Speaker 10: to try it.

27:25 Speaker 8: Out with, that's true.

27:26 Speaker 9: So it's it's kind of cool.

27:28 Speaker 8: That is true.

27:28 Speaker 10: And sometimes it's surprising which one works with which one, right,

27:32 Speaker 10: but it's it's a luxury and I mean and both

27:34 Speaker 10: rhythm sections are stellar, so it's pretty grid.

27:36 Speaker 8: Oh that's excellent that you've played with for a long time.

27:39 Speaker 10: Since high school. You know, we've got two records out

27:41 Speaker 10: on iTunes and you know Spotify.

27:43 Speaker 8: Yeah, oh wow.

27:44 Speaker 10: Yeah, we've been playing. We played five gigs last year,

27:46 Speaker 10: we played two this year.

27:47 Speaker 8: Yeah.

27:47 Speaker 10: We played the Backwoods Metal Fest at Hannecker Brewing Company.

27:51 Speaker 10: And that's the other thing with us. We've been playing

27:53 Speaker 10: with doom metal bands like Superbug, but we've also played

27:57 Speaker 10: with the jam bands. I mean, we've got a wide

27:58 Speaker 10: swath of you know, genres we can kind of fit

28:01 Speaker 10: in with and co mingle.

28:02 Speaker 8: Well that's true.

28:03 Speaker 9: Yeah, it's really cool, like the Pig with the Milford

28:07 Speaker 9: Pig Growth.

28:08 Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean it was all like Witch Spire and

28:10 Speaker 10: Hobo Wizard and Proelium and all these rooah you know

28:13 Speaker 10: that kind of stuff. Yeah, and we came up and

28:16 Speaker 10: I thought it was great because I don't know about you,

28:17 Speaker 10: but if I go to a show or a festival,

28:19 Speaker 10: I don't want to hear eight of.

28:19 Speaker 9: The same thing the same way. Give me something that

28:23 Speaker 9: that's different.

28:23 Speaker 8: Absolutely, But yeah, it was.

28:25 Speaker 9: It was super fun doing that.

28:26 Speaker 8: Oh that's cool.

28:27 Speaker 9: We're happy to be anywhere.

28:32 Speaker 10: Yeah, and uh, hilariously, on the thirteenth, we're going to

28:36 Speaker 10: be playing like our local community music spotlight on Thursday night,

28:41 Speaker 10: you know where the uh the elderly folks bring their

28:44 Speaker 10: lawn chairs and sit down and super bugs playing that.

28:46 Speaker 10: So we're really excited because our hometown Hillsboro. Yeah, you know,

28:51 Speaker 10: growing up there as a teenager, this is the sort

28:52 Speaker 10: of thing you really wanted.

28:53 Speaker 8: To do right right.

28:54 Speaker 10: The fact that they actually asked us to do it.

28:56 Speaker 9: Is mind blowing.

28:57 Speaker 8: Oh, that's very cool.

28:58 Speaker 10: Well, because you know, four years ago and four years

29:01 Speaker 10: ago now, we played the big summerfest there and they

29:04 Speaker 10: threw us off the stage.

29:07 Speaker 8: What happened?

29:08 Speaker 10: It's our street cred, so yeah, yeah, it's it's super funny.

29:12 Speaker 10: So the first issue was we bought a brand new PA,

29:15 Speaker 10: not PA, a mixer, yeah, and we tested it out

29:18 Speaker 10: in my yard and thought we had our level set,

29:19 Speaker 10: like this will be perfect. So we went to the

29:22 Speaker 10: ball field and set up on stage and we began

29:24 Speaker 10: playing and we were so loud that vendors across the

29:27 Speaker 10: field you had to yell just to order food from them.

29:30 Speaker 10: So after about two songs, they came over and they're like,

29:32 Speaker 10: you need to cut your volume in half, which we

29:34 Speaker 10: did and we're cool with it, but in all honesty,

29:36 Speaker 10: we were pretty green. That was like one of our

29:38 Speaker 10: first gigs and so Worm said the F bomb a

29:41 Speaker 10: few too many times. Now, keep in mind, this is

29:44 Speaker 10: a family event, right, so it was kind of so.

29:47 Speaker 10: But the funny thing is we made it through our

29:49 Speaker 10: whole set. We had one song left, which we did

29:51 Speaker 10: a cover of War Pigs, and they just like, no,

29:53 Speaker 10: you gotta go. And we were heroes of the beer

29:56 Speaker 10: tent right next door. They loved us, and a lot

29:58 Speaker 10: of people did dig us. But yeah, organizers, they weren't

30:01 Speaker 10: too fond of that. Looking back on it, they were

30:03 Speaker 10: right one. You know, there's artistic integrity and I know

30:06 Speaker 10: you want to now we can play spots and censor

30:09 Speaker 10: ourselves a bit more. We've we've learned, we've made progress. Yeah,

30:12 Speaker 10: but it makes for a great street cred punk rock story.

30:15 Speaker 10: You know, threw us off at the summer Fest.

33:44 Speaker 10: sound bigger than they were. And it's pretty cool. My
