Speaker 1: is back. Welcome back, everybody, Hey, hello, hello, we should
Speaker 1: let's go around the room for those who are not
Speaker 1: familiar if they didn't hear your your previous appearance on
Speaker 1: the show. Eleanor will start with you if you could
Speaker 1: each tell us who you are what you do in
Speaker 1: the band.
Speaker 15: Yeah, I'm Eleanor. I am the lead vocalist in the band,
Speaker 15: and and and I also play viola on some of
Speaker 15: our tracks.
Speaker 1: Oh okay, I didn't realize that.
Speaker 17: Okay, I'm Christy.
Speaker 2: I played drums and percussion.
Speaker 18: Okay, I'm Jagger. I play guitar, okay, boards ly, oh wow, okay,
Speaker 18: all kinds of stuff, excellent boons.
Speaker 2: I'm Handilye.
Speaker 21: I play the bass.
Speaker 1: Okay, very good, very good. And so it's just the
Speaker 1: four of you in the band, Yes it is. You've
Speaker 1: got a big sound, like you know the studio tracks.
Speaker 1: They sound nice and big.
Speaker 18: So yeah, we we we have our own studio and
Speaker 18: we record there.
Speaker 1: Okay, that's nice, right because it gives you a chance
Speaker 1: to experience, experiment and not have the pressures or of
Speaker 1: going somewhere and spending a lot of money in well,
Speaker 1: we do.
Speaker 18: Spend a lot of mixed and Master yeah you know,
Speaker 18: speaking of Max Max Magical Missfeet Tour, we actually get
Speaker 18: our stuff mastered a roll there you go.
Speaker 1: Nice.
Speaker 18: Oh really that's why you get the Master Missy Tour
Speaker 18: in right there?
Speaker 1: What's up your way?
Speaker 21: I said it was sublingually put into the song.
Speaker 1: Yes, yes, by the way, I do want to thank
Speaker 1: you as well, and for those of you watching online,
Speaker 1: if you're watching on Facebook or YouTube, the band brought
Speaker 1: us two of these wonderful, wonderful beanies, so appreciate that.
Speaker 1: Hold that up for the camera there. Thank you very
Speaker 1: much for those are brain new from my last week.
Speaker 1: Oh really these are brand new the press.
Speaker 21: I didn't see the hats. Thank you very much.
Speaker 18: Welcome.
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, hats.
Speaker 18: You realize that.
Speaker 2: That's what I said to him when he run them in.
Speaker 18: I mean they see the nice jersey guys you're wearing too,
Speaker 18: you know, yes.
Speaker 1: Yes, we're of course wearing our shirts from last time.
Speaker 21: That's island.
Speaker 1: That's really why Jenny and I do this show so
Speaker 1: we never have to buy clothes, yeah, perfect art or
Speaker 1: winter hats or winter yeah, I shall not be warm,
Speaker 1: that's yes.
Speaker 18: Next next time we come, we'll be some mindens for you.
Speaker 18: You'll bring what minden?
Speaker 2: Y socks?
Speaker 8: Maybe?
Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been pushing for socks.
Speaker 2: I think they would sell really well.
Speaker 18: There you go, there you go, working on that.
Speaker 1: Well, the possibilities are are truly endless. Now how long
Speaker 1: has this been out before? Alkaline Kiss the EP? This
Speaker 1: is the newest release? Correct?
Speaker 18: This actually a double album?
Speaker 1: Pretty new?
Speaker 18: What the double album? Nineteen songs?
Speaker 15: It is?
Speaker 2: We're coming out with Oh okay, what you're asking about?
Speaker 1: Because I'm looking at I'm looking at band camp.
Speaker 18: Oh that's a little previous version of the album.
Speaker 1: Oh I see. Okay, so the full album. So it's
Speaker 1: going to be a double album?
Speaker 18: Yeah, nineteen Well for vine a record's gonna be nineteen songs. Okay,
Speaker 18: I'm a double album but CD, you know, yeah, but
Speaker 18: nineteen songs.
Speaker 1: So okay, wow, Now what one in the decision to
Speaker 1: do that? Because you know, we live in an era
Speaker 1: where people are releasing singles, some people some artists just
Speaker 1: only released singles, some release EPs, some release albums.
Speaker 18: But a double album, well, the then as we started
Speaker 18: working this project last year and we wanted to try
Speaker 18: to change us sound a little bit from the previous
Speaker 18: albums we had, and we wrote a song called like
Speaker 18: Sinai that kind of started a whole thing. And when
Speaker 18: that happened, it was like a, I don't know, such
Speaker 18: a flow of creativity that we had filmy songs that
Speaker 18: we had to you know, release them all. Yeah. Actually
Speaker 18: there's a lot more songs that was part of the
Speaker 18: project that's going on other projects. Oh really yeah, but
Speaker 18: this band, the way it works is if you take
Speaker 18: too long finishing an album, I'd add more songs to.
Speaker 2: The album for longer and longer.
Speaker 1: And yeah.
Speaker 18: It's so it's like you need to get it done
Speaker 18: really quick or you're gonna have, you know, a four
Speaker 18: piece album.
Speaker 1: So why does that happen? Are you just always writing?
Speaker 1: Is there just always new music?
Speaker 18: I'm always writing. Yeah, I can't stop, just like it's
Speaker 18: just my thing.
Speaker 15: It's amazing, Like, well, we'll come over for practice and
Speaker 15: he's like, I wrote four new songs today and they're
Speaker 15: all amazing, Like.
Speaker 1: Oh wow, that's cool. Like did you write songs for
Speaker 1: other artists as well?
Speaker 18: Or yes? And I don't like doing that anymore. You
Speaker 18: know what the problem is like is you know the
Speaker 18: band like if I write something, they want it from themselves,
Speaker 18: and I you know, that's fair. So I got to
Speaker 18: write something really really odd, and then that's want to
Speaker 18: utilize it. But I think they're I mean utilize that
Speaker 18: sometimes I don't know. But now we became an agreement.
Speaker 18: It's like, if I write songs, it's for this band. Yeah,
Speaker 18: you know, I helped out like the play Dad, which
Speaker 18: was in here a few weeks ago.
Speaker 1: Yes, we love playing That is so much fun.
Speaker 18: He's a new album coming out in a few months
Speaker 18: and I helped work on that one. Oh okay, but
Speaker 18: that's basically just a bit like I can't I'm not
Speaker 18: allowed to know any music. That's kind of like ours,
Speaker 18: I'm not allowed to do it. Okay, okay, pulled the plug.
Speaker 18: I think we met Plague Dad through Vices inc. Yeah,
Speaker 18: well when I were originally we'll put me on that
Speaker 18: date and to be here, that's right. We were able
Speaker 18: to show up and Frank came in killed us and
Speaker 18: helped out and yeah he's entertaining for.
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, no, we had a we had a
Speaker 1: great time. If you are just joining us. We have
Speaker 1: Vices inc here with us live in studio. So the
Speaker 1: so the double album, so it comes out December. What
Speaker 1: did you say, the ninth, thirteenth, thirteenth? Perfect? Yeah, that
Speaker 1: is perfect, yep, absolutely, And then are you already are
Speaker 1: you already working on the next one? Because you've got
Speaker 1: all this music.
Speaker 18: I'm gonna I'm gonna have one of them explained about
Speaker 18: that because it's insane.
Speaker 15: Actually, Okay, we're working on the next several projects. Like
Speaker 15: we have folders of all different like kind of genres,
Speaker 15: like yeah, like it's it's it's it's unfathomable, unfathomable how
Speaker 15: much music he has completed, and now like we have
Speaker 15: to go through the process of adding Handie's bass and
Speaker 15: Chrissy's strums and then my vocals. And I'm not very
Speaker 15: fast at writing lyrics, so it's like he'll like write
Speaker 15: thirty songs for everyone that I complete.
Speaker 1: Oh wow.
Speaker 15: So we have it all organized and we have like
Speaker 15: a loose plan, but you know, stuff comes up. If
Speaker 15: you write something he's really passionate about. In the next
Speaker 15: couple of months, it's very possible we'll like switch over
Speaker 15: to like really focus on that, right, and then go
Speaker 15: back to the other things.
Speaker 2: But we have a lot, a lot that's.
Speaker 18: Kind of I think we're yeah yeah wow, and then
Speaker 18: I've got a lot more that's stort away waiting for them.
Speaker 18: But again, she said, in the meantime, I'm writing more
Speaker 18: new material all the time. Yeah. So it's it's it's
Speaker 18: never end the battle.
Speaker 1: Yeah, but having owned studio helps that out right, Oh yeah,
Speaker 1: no doubt, no doubt.
Speaker 18: Yeah.
Speaker 1: So do you do you write the music and eleanor
Speaker 1: you write the lyrics or how does how does the process?
Speaker 18: Worah? I write the music and then I killed the band, Yeah,
Speaker 18: put it okay, and then elements to that. Yeah, each person,
Speaker 18: you know what? She writes most of the lyrics. Sometimes
Speaker 18: she wants, hey, can you help me out here? And
Speaker 18: I might help her out. Yeah I won't. I don't know, Yeah, right,
Speaker 18: she writes.
Speaker 15: Usually what he'll do, though, is he'll he'll record a
Speaker 15: track and then he names it and it's a dummy title,
Speaker 15: like he's usually attached to the name, but he has
Speaker 15: so many songs he's sending me that I often use
Speaker 15: the dummy.
Speaker 2: Title as inspiration.
Speaker 1: Oh okay.
Speaker 15: It's kind of like a writing prompt where I'm like, okay,
Speaker 15: like what like this is what he named the song,
Speaker 15: like Truculent, Like okay, what what could that be about?
Speaker 1: And then I'll go from that makes sense?
Speaker 20: Yeah?
Speaker 1: Yeah? Is that how it's always worked from the beginning
Speaker 1: of the spand is that?
Speaker 18: Yeah? Pretty much?
Speaker 1: How long his advice has ain't been around? It's been
Speaker 1: a while, right.
Speaker 22: I met him in twenty nineteen and then we damned
Speaker 22: for like maybe a couple of months, maybe a little
Speaker 22: bit longer than that, and then we brought Ellie Inn
Speaker 22: in like September that year, so it.
Speaker 15: Was like, yeah, it's been about like just over five years, okay, okay, Yeah.
Speaker 18: We got track a little bit because of COVID and stuff. Yeah,
Speaker 18: we were starting playing shows and stuff, and when COVID
Speaker 18: had it kind of derailed us a little bit. Yeah,
Speaker 18: so instead of just not doing anything, we just worked
Speaker 18: in the studio and made music and stuff. Yeah, and
Speaker 18: then we didn't start playing shows again last year. Oh okay,
Speaker 18: three years before we started playing shows again.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 18: Now, now we've been on three fours at least to
Speaker 18: think yep, okay, we've done multiple things now.
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, excellent. Yeah, since the last time you were here,
Speaker 1: So you've toured, you've toured in how long ago time?
Speaker 18: It all becomes up when we're here April, oh, January,
Speaker 18: January last ye, I think we were something like that.
Speaker 18: Oh okay, okay, it's genuine.
Speaker 1: So lesson a year. Yeah, yeah, So have you have
Speaker 1: you toured in the time since that?
Speaker 22: Yes, we have, Okay, we had twice, Yeah, twice because
Speaker 22: the first tour would have been before that, and.
Speaker 18: Then we have just gotten back from that big festival
Speaker 18: in March and the April we did a tour okay,
Speaker 18: tour in August. Okay, supposed to going another tour in November.
Speaker 1: But I canceled okay, February.
Speaker 18: Oh yeah, I'm not gonna be I'm not gonna be
Speaker 18: in the band more. It's news to you guys. Yeah.
Speaker 2: Sure, whatever you said.
Speaker 1: You got too many songs, right, you can't question the problem. Yeah.
Speaker 1: Now now the so the last now, the last tour
Speaker 1: that you did, did you go out did you go
Speaker 1: out with a national act or what?
Speaker 18: Did you know? We actually left play dad, that was
Speaker 18: open act. Oh okay, right, you played with you know,
Speaker 18: various acts from different states and stuff when we went there. Yeah, Northeast, yeah,
Speaker 18: Ju said, Delaware. Yeah, yeah, and it was it was great.
Speaker 18: It was fun, you know, and great to you know,
Speaker 18: play different places and meet different people. We know that
Speaker 18: people go crazy in New Jersey on Sundays, which is
Speaker 18: really crazy to.
Speaker 2: Us week nights.
Speaker 22: Yeah, in New Jersey, I guess. It was definitely not
Speaker 22: day drinking. Was drink It felt like day drinking though.
Speaker 18: We spent some fun places.
Speaker 15: We stayed in a haunted airbnb. Yeah, it was like what, yeah,
Speaker 15: go state your liquid. Yeah, that's terrible, like moved his
Speaker 15: stuff around. Yeah, and like the lock like fell off
Speaker 15: my door, but like it shouldn't have.
Speaker 22: Like hate his shaving kid, Like you couldn't find it
Speaker 22: for a long time and then was it like under
Speaker 22: the bed or something. It was really weird prank pranking us.
Speaker 22: We are the kind of band you want to prank,
Speaker 22: but like.
Speaker 1: Come on now. So it was just like advertised, haunted.
Speaker 2: Discovered it was haunted because we were there for a
Speaker 2: while happening us.
Speaker 18: You part of a church where the priest stayed okay,
Speaker 18: the rectory, thank you, and it's huge, you know.
Speaker 21: Things homes from exorcism must have.
Speaker 18: When we're on tour, we have a kind of rage.
Speaker 18: We need a lot of room.
Speaker 1: Yeah, and we have it.
Speaker 18: My parents, their parents, my you know, my wife and
Speaker 18: my son.
Speaker 5: Yeah.
Speaker 18: In the justin that guy over there, now, what what
Speaker 18: what does he do? Complains a lot.
Speaker 2: He helps me to carry on my stuff, which is.
Speaker 1: A road and light security work, all right, very very light.
Speaker 1: And he's not afraid of ghosts.
Speaker 2: No, okay, ridden ghost.
Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that.
Speaker 18: We do that song, by the way, No ghost. It's
Speaker 18: actually on an EP we d.
Speaker 2: It's probably my favorite, The Ghostbusters.
Speaker 18: Yeah we did that. Oh no kidding, Yeah, we did it.
Speaker 18: We did Halloween EP in twenty twenty one.
Speaker 1: Is it on band camp?
Speaker 18: No, it's on Spotify.
Speaker 15: Oh.
Speaker 1: I was gonna say, I'm curious to here, but yeah,
Speaker 1: I'll take me too long to find on a spotlight. Yeah, no,
Speaker 1: I'm curious to hear that you. Uh So, when when
Speaker 1: you play live, is it hard because you have a
Speaker 1: lot of music? Is it hard to decide what to play?
Speaker 1: Is it hard to narrow down a set list? Or
Speaker 1: what's what's that like?
Speaker 18: That's a that's a good question. I usually don't tell
Speaker 18: in the set list. We you u see this play?
Speaker 18: Really it's really Yeah, Yeah, it's usually what what I'm
Speaker 18: in the mood for. Yeah, I'm being honest. That's how
Speaker 18: it is.
Speaker 21: Well a ringer where they're like, I can't believe he
Speaker 21: just no.
Speaker 22: We mean he's never given us a song we don't
Speaker 22: know at least because then he would not probably not
Speaker 22: know it either, so he's not gonna you know, bet
Speaker 22: himself and shoot himself leg right, But.
Speaker 18: Usually focused on whatever album we're on tour WITHIDTH at
Speaker 18: that time for the most part.
Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, makes sense.
Speaker 18: And then we mix it with some cover songs that
Speaker 18: people like. Yeah, but if I feel in the song's
Speaker 18: not gonna work for the show, and what's your shut
Speaker 18: out for something else?
Speaker 1: Yeah, because you can kind of you know, read the
Speaker 1: room and sure exactly figure out what you think the
Speaker 1: crowd's gonna want.
Speaker 18: Yeah. True.
Speaker 1: And then now have you got You've gotten some airplay
Speaker 1: right with uh with some of these singles.
Speaker 18: Oh yeah, oh yeah. We're in quite a few iradio
Speaker 18: stations now, which is really cool.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 18: Yeah, and you know we've been doing It's kind of
Speaker 18: funny because we we did some radio, like I said,
Speaker 18: IDs over the last weekend. Yeah, and some radio stations
Speaker 18: that asked us to do it, and I think all
Speaker 18: was like maybe six of them, yeah, and then she
Speaker 18: said I'm doing like fourteen of one.
Speaker 1: That's awesome.
Speaker 18: Yeah yeah yeah, and I was like, wow, I guess
Speaker 18: we get some play. Yeah, but yeah, I mean it's
Speaker 18: the radio station has played us on Thursday. Thanks Gibbon
Speaker 18: was in Portland, oreon you know, oh yeah, it's cool
Speaker 18: to have you know, he's read out like that. Yeah.
Speaker 1: Yeah, to be able to send your music from one
Speaker 1: Portland to another, Yeah, that's pretty cool. Yeah, yeah, outstanding.
Speaker 1: What's the is it still when I had had when
Speaker 1: I had had You on before? The song that had
Speaker 1: gotten the most airplay at that point was is it
Speaker 1: giving up but not giving in?
Speaker 2: I'm gonna say the name right, giving up.
Speaker 1: Giving not giving up? I got to slexic with it.
Speaker 1: Is that still like the biggest in terms of airplay
Speaker 1: or like told.
Speaker 18: Us, of all time? I think so, yeah, for sure,
Speaker 18: because it's a lot. It's been a while, but our
Speaker 18: top ten list is mostly Echo Line kiss songs because
Speaker 18: it got really popular. But you know, giving in. There's
Speaker 18: a song called we did I Love You, which is
Speaker 18: a cover song and I did really really well too, yeah.
Speaker 18: And then we got a song that is an intro
Speaker 18: to an album called The Experience, and that got a
Speaker 18: lot of plays. Well it's really weirdly and then, uh,
Speaker 18: don't be be aware. We're not gonna mention that one.
Speaker 1: Okay, Well, now I'm curious.
Speaker 2: I love to be a joke song for our Halloween EP,
Speaker 2: but it gets popular every Halloween.
Speaker 1: Oh no, kidd Yeah, that's a good thing.
Speaker 18: But yeah, so it's we are happy that it's mostly
Speaker 18: like backline kiss songs now because that's the sound we're
Speaker 18: moving into. Okay, for the most part, were the longest
Speaker 18: time we're a pop punk band. Yeah, we moved away
Speaker 18: from that. Yeah, we're trying to move away from that,
Speaker 18: just a change.
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no, I I really like these songs now,
Speaker 1: So is that is that kind of the direction you're
Speaker 1: going with because you're constantly writing, Like do you try
Speaker 1: to stay in that lane when you're writing or.
Speaker 18: That's that's a good question. I this is the thing.
Speaker 18: It's it's whatever I'm in the mood for kind of them, right, Yeah,
Speaker 18: And I can base a whole album around one song
Speaker 18: if it works out that way. But I always from
Speaker 18: the very again, I told him, like eventually we're gonna
Speaker 18: get older, and I want music to accommodate that. Okay,
Speaker 18: I didn't want to be playing music that I feel
Speaker 18: like I'm seventeen years old still. Yeah, and they were all,
Speaker 18: you know, they were fine with that, and they kind
Speaker 18: of knew the idea that we're going to be changing
Speaker 18: that into the more return of style, if that's what
Speaker 18: you want to typecast. Yeah. And but once we I
Speaker 18: had a few songs I was working on before, and
Speaker 18: I was like, eventually we're going to get to that song.
Speaker 18: I went to that album. We had to get a
Speaker 18: few bridge albums to that album, which is called 's
Speaker 18: Link by the way, and that's gonna be a cooler album.
Speaker 18: It sounds like.
Speaker 1: For that album that really Yeah.
Speaker 2: Ourself thought album that will come out in a couple
Speaker 2: of years.
Speaker 18: But when we when I did like like sign, I
Speaker 18: had a dream and I basically hummed the song on
Speaker 18: the phone and called Christ you have get your butt
Speaker 18: down here. We're gonna get together. Yeah, and we started
Speaker 18: working on that. I knew then that this is this
Speaker 18: is style I want to do, and we did a
Speaker 18: whole album around that style. Yeah. So it came out
Speaker 18: a little bit sooner than I thought I was gonna.
Speaker 18: But that's where I'm at right now. Yeah.
Speaker 1: Yeah, when you say you didn't want to, you know,
Speaker 1: as you get older, you didn't want to still be
Speaker 1: playing music that sounded like you were seventeen? Is that like,
Speaker 1: what do you mean, like like sort of that pop
Speaker 1: punk thing you wanted to get around?
Speaker 18: Yeah, I mean I'm not I'm not trying to you know,
Speaker 18: dis her and think that. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know,
Speaker 18: and it's it's it's something that I always will love playing.
Speaker 18: I just thought I want to expand what we're doing
Speaker 18: a little bit more and and it's a little bit
Speaker 18: more challenging too, you know. So I feel like in
Speaker 18: you know, with the people who are play in this band,
Speaker 18: like you know, Elmo's vocals are you know, amazing, and
Speaker 18: it's great to you know, utilize that. Christie you know fine,
Speaker 18: but you know, you know, you know, handily like different
Speaker 18: styles of music than you know, than the other two people. Well,
Speaker 18: I think her and Christy like some similar music. I mean,
Speaker 18: I like everything for the most but you know, but
Speaker 18: I wanted to incorporate people's likes a little bit more
Speaker 18: into the music. So yeah, you get more committed to it,
Speaker 18: but you know, and at the same time that they
Speaker 18: always committed to whatever we're doing too, so I shouldn't
Speaker 18: even say that, but that's the way I'm thinking right now.
Speaker 18: But also the ones that just wanted to be sent
Speaker 18: it to a wider market, that's the main thing. But
Speaker 18: also feel like, you know, I'm not juvenile.
Speaker 1: Right right? Yeah, yeah, no, it makes sense. That makes sense.
Speaker 1: You want to grow and evolve and all of that.
Speaker 1: I'm sure I asked you before, but I honestly don't
Speaker 1: remember what the answer was. Where does the name Vices Inc.
Speaker 1: Come from? You to go ahead?
Speaker 22: Yeah, it actually came from a song that he wrote,
Speaker 22: like right when around the time that we met, there
Speaker 22: was a song that we were working on.
Speaker 2: We never released it, we still have it. Oh it's
Speaker 2: called Advices Inc.
Speaker 22: Okay, And we were trying to come up with a
Speaker 22: name for the band, and we just kept like looking up,
Speaker 22: Oh is this like, is the name of this this
Speaker 22: idea taken like on a website or anything. And we
Speaker 22: took up looking and all these ideas, like all these
Speaker 22: wackiest things you can think of, all of them taken.
Speaker 22: You look at Vices Inc. And we're like oh, there's
Speaker 22: no way this isn't going to be taken. Nope, no
Speaker 22: bands called vices inc.
Speaker 1: We can fine.
Speaker 2: We're like, no, that's perfect. We like we liked it.
Speaker 18: It was yeah, that was exactly what she said, because
Speaker 18: we I was looking up these you know, people will
Speaker 18: park these names coms. Yeah, and I was like, well,
Speaker 18: I want able to have that, you know, so like, yeah,
Speaker 18: if I can't have that, then I'm going to change
Speaker 18: the name just announced and so me the names that
Speaker 18: I was coming up with it.
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I have to know. I love rejected band names.
Speaker 2: I don't remember any of them. It was too long ago.
Speaker 2: It was five years ago.
Speaker 1: I don't believe you.
Speaker 18: You just I really don't really hunt one hunt Oh yeah,
Speaker 18: I do you remember that Hunt in a h U
Speaker 18: n T. It's actually a town in Massachusetts.
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, something people wouldn't know how to spell. Isn't good?
Speaker 18: Yeah, it's gonna it's gonna come up them out, you know,
Speaker 18: you know, come out right.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 18: Yeah, but you know, I just like, you know, I'm
Speaker 18: gonna try this. I think there's no way that is
Speaker 18: not taken. And right, I was like, thin dot com
Speaker 18: is not taken?
Speaker 1: Like what Yeah, yeah, it is surprising, but most people.
Speaker 18: A lot of times they say it wrong. They say
Speaker 18: vice is incorporated, which we are not. Vices incorporated, right,
Speaker 18: Ices inc Right.
Speaker 2: Alexa still says incorporated and is driving to make crazy.
Speaker 18: Yeah, with no doubt in man. Finally, you don't know.
Speaker 18: They're pretty good.
Speaker 1: Thereself.
Speaker 2: It's fine.
Speaker 18: She's actually mean, so.
Speaker 1: Like, like what mean things does she do?
Speaker 18: She blocks people? Really, you know you're out of the
Speaker 18: band when she blocks you.
Speaker 1: Oh, that's terrible. You don't know what do you have
Speaker 1: to do that for. I'm a bass player. I don't
Speaker 1: do that. You usually basically not nice, but usually some
Speaker 1: people deserve to be blocked.
Speaker 2: Though I don't agree more.
Speaker 1: I guess.
Speaker 18: You know you made it when he blocks you. Though,
Speaker 18: here you go.
Speaker 1: If you're just joining us, we have vices in here
Speaker 1: with us live in studio on this Saturday morning. Do
Speaker 1: you have shows this weekend? Are you are you playing
Speaker 1: out anywhere this weekend or what's what's your holiday schedule?
Speaker 18: Like, well, we took a lot of time off, yeah,
Speaker 18: because of a medical issue in the band. Because of that,
Speaker 18: a lot of shows got canceled stuff, and we only
Speaker 18: been doing the you know, ful amount of shows. Yeah,
Speaker 18: the next real show. We have two shows the end
Speaker 18: of this month, Dember twenty first, this month, next month,
Speaker 18: I'm sorry, December twenty first is the next show we have. Yeah,
Speaker 18: and then that's it. Yeah, and we're just you know
Speaker 18: again recording and and get ready for Christmas.
Speaker 2: I mean, we also got to keep recording, kind of
Speaker 2: catch up with.
Speaker 9: You, right.
Speaker 18: Well, we're also going to be releasing were releasing our first.
Speaker 2: First album, first album album.
Speaker 18: Our third album called every Day Hero. We're they're finishing
Speaker 18: that up to re release it. But the original version
Speaker 18: came out on the super doesn't pay us, so oh okay,
Speaker 18: but we did Taylor Swift then we have to you're so,
Speaker 18: so you're actually re recording the whole thing.
Speaker 2: Yeah, correct, some of the tracks to Wish.
Speaker 18: I think it's going to be better actually giving in
Speaker 18: it's from that album.
Speaker 1: Yes, Oh okay, oh no kidding, okay, Yeah, sometimes re
Speaker 1: recording can be a good thing to give it a
Speaker 1: refreshed and.
Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, kind of update the sound to what we
Speaker 2: have now.
Speaker 22: Yeah, their stands there's a bit higher now too, and
Speaker 22: we have, you know, our process of recording kind of set.
Speaker 1: Yeah, that helps a lot there you go, No, that
Speaker 1: makes sense, that makes sense, and then uh, what so
Speaker 1: it in the new year, you're gonna you've got another
Speaker 1: Oh you do have another tour coming right ywhere everywhere?
Speaker 18: Yeah, yeah, we do. It's gonna be another new Northeast
Speaker 18: And for the most part, it's gonna be like a month. Okay,
Speaker 18: it looks like it's a month, but from the Northeast
Speaker 18: you can go from one state to or the other
Speaker 18: and go back home. Yeah, so it's not really going
Speaker 18: out too far, but but we are going to be
Speaker 18: going as far down as Delaware and.
Speaker 2: We're going to Maryland again.
Speaker 18: Going to Maryland, Pennsylvania, Connecticut Road Allen, Jersey. Do you walk. Yeah,
Speaker 18: that's that's what we're doing.
Speaker 1: Excellent, excellent, And that would be back like his part
Speaker 1: two tours and and who's who's on this one where
Speaker 1: they or.
Speaker 18: Do you know we're going solo and you are? Yeah,
Speaker 18: we're going to you know, we're going to solos one
Speaker 18: this one. That's because we're gonna try something different and
Speaker 18: we played trust me, we're gonna always play playing shows
Speaker 18: with you know, Frank Gallagher like dad for the rest
Speaker 18: of our lives.
Speaker 1: Yeah, good, good, played over show him actually really yeah,
Speaker 1: no kidding.
Speaker 18: I mean there's a couple of shows on the tour
Speaker 18: that in the area. He's gonna be on that show.
Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, any videos for the for the new the new.
Speaker 18: Album, we need to get on that on the list.
Speaker 18: It's something that we have been dragging our feet on
Speaker 18: and we will get on it. The problem is, like
Speaker 18: you know, yo, you would think it'd be easier because
Speaker 18: Eleanor does acting for it's an actress, she's in several
Speaker 18: movies and stuff.
Speaker 1: Oh that's right, Yeah, I remember you talking about that.
Speaker 18: You would think that would be getting videos done.
Speaker 22: Easily, But I mean it's hard to You have to
Speaker 22: like kind someone to film me, find a location. That's
Speaker 22: really the hard at least I find that that'd be
Speaker 22: the hardest thing.
Speaker 15: Yeah, plan, what what's the concept of the video? Is
Speaker 15: it a performance video? Just have a story?
Speaker 5: Yeah?
Speaker 18: Are we going to be in it?
Speaker 1: Yeah?
Speaker 2: You know, we find to find other actors to be
Speaker 2: in it.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 18: Are we doing sock pop puppets? That'd be nice.
Speaker 15: We should do could do that video with our vices
Speaker 15: in socks that we're going to sell.
Speaker 1: There you go perfect, that's the tie in. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
Speaker 1: there's a video for giving.
Speaker 18: Up right given? Yeah, yeah, yeah, we did that and
Speaker 18: during the COVID then obviously gets to the mask on there. Yeah,
Speaker 18: and you know, that's the only one that we really
Speaker 18: performed in, right.
Speaker 8: Yeah.
Speaker 18: We get other ones that are videos, but we're not
Speaker 18: in it.
Speaker 1: Yeah.
Speaker 18: But yeah, we're going to get on it, I hope.
Speaker 1: So see, I just assumed you were so busy writing
Speaker 1: all these songs have time to make a video.
Speaker 2: That's kind of part of it.
Speaker 18: Yeah.
Speaker 1: And then uh yeah, so eleanor so have you you've
Speaker 1: done more acting since you were here last Yes.
Speaker 15: So we completed recording the sequel of the film that
Speaker 15: I talked about last time, which the first one is
Speaker 15: called Rooks and that's released through Accented Films. My friend
Speaker 15: Rob and we he wrote the sequel. We filmed it
Speaker 15: over the summer. It's going to come out next summer,
Speaker 15: also through Accented Films.
Speaker 18: Oh cool, he's in it too, Oh justin, isn't it?
Speaker 9: Yeah?
Speaker 1: Very good?
Speaker 18: I'm in the two are you? Which explains a lot. Yeah, Okay,
Speaker 18: I don't know. Do you have a big part just
Speaker 18: eating donuts? Okay, that's the whole part. Yeah, and complain
Speaker 18: a lot, which is what I do in real life.
Speaker 1: So there you go, right, Okay, so you kind of
Speaker 1: play yourself.
Speaker 18: Yeah, it doesn't. I'm a big ben affleck you know,
Speaker 18: yeah myself.
Speaker 1: Okay, all right, well excellent, excellent, So we should the
Speaker 1: time goes so quick, so we should remind people. So
Speaker 1: the new album December thirteenth, Yes, double album, and that'll
Speaker 1: be on all the streaming platforms.
Speaker 18: Yeah, and you can. You can pre order it pretty soon,
Speaker 18: hopefully by the next week, and you go devices dot
Speaker 18: com and you can pre order. It comes with some
Speaker 18: special goodies, yeah, free stickers and download cards and photographed donuts.
Speaker 1: Donuts. No, that would be weird unless you're unless you're
Speaker 1: doing a time with the film.
Speaker 18: Right Yeah. Yeah, maybe. But we're gonna have new merch
Speaker 18: on there the beanies and T shirts and yep, something
Speaker 18: else coming in. That's it's secret coming in today. I
Speaker 18: think it yet.
Speaker 1: Oh, okayation for you guys, Okay, you can come.
Speaker 2: Out after all the juxts made about sucks. I don't
Speaker 2: think it is though, And uh.
Speaker 1: What should our listeners know about how to keep up
Speaker 1: with everything Vices Inc?
Speaker 18: Is doing? What'd you tell us Christy? Yeah?
Speaker 22: Follow us on Instagram, vices the Inked Up Band, We're
Speaker 22: on Facebook, We're on Twitter, but we don't really too
Speaker 22: much on Twitter. We are on advicesing dot Com is
Speaker 22: probably the best place because we have like all our
Speaker 22: shows listed there.

Speaker 1: been this has been fantastic. And uh so we will
Speaker 1: close with this track Truculent. I think we said we
Speaker 1: were going to play.
Speaker 18: Le sign those two?
Speaker 1: What was the other one? Like, oh, you know what,
Speaker 1: I want to play that because that's I wanted to
Speaker 1: ask you. I'm glad you said that because it reminds
Speaker 1: me where was this recorded? Because like Sinide is live,
