18:16 Speaker 21: book out which is called Going Too Soon. And as

18:19 Speaker 21: you know, the phone guys played last time that's based

18:21 Speaker 21: on that which is you know, losing a child and

18:23 Speaker 21: that sports and it's out now on Amazon's and basket.

18:29 Speaker 21: I'm also working on other film projects for next year.

19:38 Speaker 14: Yeah, no doubt. The reason I'm curious about that is,

19:43 Speaker 14: you know, you you obviously you have a very impressive

19:45 Speaker 14: work ethic because you do so much. And I wonder

19:49 Speaker 14: if that's something that you got from her, or if

19:51 Speaker 14: that's something that you just kind of you know, sometimes

19:54 Speaker 14: not everything we get from our parents, So some things

19:56 Speaker 14: are just kind of the wiring in our brain is

19:59 Speaker 14: what it is for whatever, and then we just kind

20:00 Speaker 14: of go go in different directions. But I was just

20:03 Speaker 14: curious if that was something you got from her or

20:05 Speaker 14: from other family members.

20:09 Speaker 21: For the most part, I mean, my parents always show me,

20:12 Speaker 21: especially a young age, like to really work hard in

20:14 Speaker 21: which you've ben even go all the way, so they

20:17 Speaker 21: had somewhat of a pivotal role for that. But I

20:20 Speaker 21: think for the most part, I just think generally it's

20:23 Speaker 21: something that was a drive of mind that I really

20:25 Speaker 21: want to just do. I want to if I have

20:26 Speaker 21: to get something's gonna have to do with myself and

20:29 Speaker 21: doing it for many years. I was like, you know,

20:30 Speaker 21: I gotta go and do it because somebody will do

20:32 Speaker 21: it that way I do it. I was like, yeah,

20:34 Speaker 21: And you know, you seem like you said, the journey

20:36 Speaker 21: I think well to for many years and you know,

20:38 Speaker 21: just to see the amazing feedback of love beginning receiving

20:41 Speaker 21: from you know, yourself, you guys and other people, and

20:43 Speaker 21: it's just an amazing it's an amazing journey.

20:46 Speaker 14: Absolutely, what is your uh? And by the way, I'm

20:57 Speaker 14: a lot of industry people. How do you you know,

21:00 Speaker 14: what is your approach to kind of because you do

21:04 Speaker 14: have a lot going on and you're able to promote

21:07 Speaker 14: it all and get it all out there. Do you

21:09 Speaker 14: have a strategy that you use in terms of social

21:12 Speaker 14: media or marketing yourself? Like, I'm really interested in what

21:15 Speaker 14: your approaches to that because sometimes when someone has these

21:20 Speaker 14: various different creative outlets, it's hard to sort of disseminate

21:25 Speaker 14: that to the you know, to the public, you know,

21:27 Speaker 14: and build a fan base because they're not sure what

21:30 Speaker 14: to pay attention to, like what's what's your approach to

21:33 Speaker 14: marketing or if you have one and maybe you don't,

21:35 Speaker 14: maybe you just kind of put it all out there.

21:37 Speaker 14: I don't know, but you must be doing something right

21:39 Speaker 14: because you get a lot of you do get a

21:41 Speaker 14: lot of positive attention.

21:48 Speaker 21: like Toronto error. That's how I learned from doing it

21:51 Speaker 21: for a good amount of years. Now I think it's

21:53 Speaker 21: from error and how I work, well, how do I

21:55 Speaker 21: do with the marketing and promotions is like like yourself.

21:58 Speaker 21: You know, I have for friends like you who are

22:00 Speaker 21: really like supportive and you know. I also I've been

22:03 Speaker 21: realizing that I've been using Facebook ads, which helps a

22:06 Speaker 21: whole lot now because you know, it's one thing is

22:08 Speaker 21: you as one person alone. You can't do it the

22:11 Speaker 21: only one person. You have so many things to do.

22:13 Speaker 21: You got to bamage your life and in your personal life,

22:15 Speaker 21: so it's like you just can't be to scare all

22:17 Speaker 21: day promoting promoting. So I realized that helps a whole

22:20 Speaker 21: lot with my marketing plan and my strategies with that

22:23 Speaker 21: and also just a word of all people putting out

22:25 Speaker 21: the word you know, hey, looks check her out what

22:27 Speaker 21: she's doing. And it's just just been amazing. It's been

22:29 Speaker 21: really supportive and it's been it's been an interesting situation.

22:34 Speaker 14: Do you enjoy that part of it because a lot

22:36 Speaker 14: of musicians don't like doing the you know, they'll do it,

22:39 Speaker 14: but they don't like doing that part of it, you know,

22:41 Speaker 14: the promotional part, or like you said using Facebook ads,

22:44 Speaker 14: I'm someone who it's all fascinating to me. You know,

22:48 Speaker 14: I'm a musician. I played in a lot of bands,

22:49 Speaker 14: but to me, like all aspects of the business have

22:52 Speaker 14: always been fascinating to me. So I'll do anything and

22:55 Speaker 14: I don't mind doing it because I actually enjoy it.

22:57 Speaker 14: Do you do you enjoy it? Or is or is

22:59 Speaker 14: that part the promotional part is something more you have

23:02 Speaker 14: to do, uh to get where you're going?

23:06 Speaker 21: Yeah, definitely. And you said youselt you're outimization, so you

23:09 Speaker 21: know more first time how hard it is to do

23:11 Speaker 21: and get yourself out there and people to pay attention

23:14 Speaker 21: to what you're doing. So I think we know by

23:16 Speaker 21: doing this now this is kind of like strategy with

23:18 Speaker 21: Facebook as or other ways of promoting yourself. I do

23:21 Speaker 21: have some way of enjoying doing it because it gets

23:25 Speaker 21: you to know, like people to know what they're paying

23:27 Speaker 21: attention or engaging with three YEARSIC or engaging or contacting

23:30 Speaker 21: you like hey, you know, I want to check yourself

23:33 Speaker 21: out or and it's that source. So it's it's and

23:35 Speaker 21: I thought about somebodys as well, like, you know, one

23:37 Speaker 21: thing we don't have anymore is so technology wise we're

23:41 Speaker 21: so focused on just putting on that's it. I'm just

23:44 Speaker 21: kind of go to school. I like to meet people,

23:47 Speaker 21: like just engage with them and get to know what

23:48 Speaker 21: they're like, you know, talk to them like your friends,

23:51 Speaker 21: your supporters, And we don't have that anymore and speed,

23:53 Speaker 21: so I mean we should.

23:54 Speaker 10: Have that more of it.

23:55 Speaker 14: Yeah, and tell me about a brand new me. This

23:59 Speaker 14: is Is this a album that you've released or is

24:01 Speaker 14: this an EP or what? What is this exactly?

24:05 Speaker 21: Yes, so this album is a full album. It has

24:08 Speaker 21: ten songs, and this is actually long way way. It's

24:12 Speaker 21: been a long way, like holding up like it's been

24:14 Speaker 21: a while. I finally get this album out and it's

24:17 Speaker 21: just this phenomenal doing music. As you guys heard of

24:20 Speaker 21: thanks for playing that, and it has other amazing tracks

24:22 Speaker 21: on their young Girl as a Lot, as lot of

24:27 Speaker 21: as a Body. He has a lot of great other

24:28 Speaker 21: songs in there, Big shots rats. But that's my producer

24:31 Speaker 21: for similar tracks on there, and all the producers have

24:34 Speaker 21: a chance to have, you know, worked on this album.

24:36 Speaker 21: But it's just been amazing to see the feedback on

24:38 Speaker 21: it and the title of brandomly the constable of that,

24:41 Speaker 21: it's pretty much of me skating like like you know,

24:43 Speaker 21: it's a new leaf, new chapter and it's a new

24:46 Speaker 21: way of looking at life differently.

24:47 Speaker 14: Lessen excellent, excellent. Did did you you mentioned delays in

24:54 Speaker 14: getting this done? I'm just curious, like what what what

24:57 Speaker 14: was holding things up?

25:01 Speaker 21: Yes, So one of the factors I was kind of

25:04 Speaker 21: going through it at the time before the Games I'm

25:05 Speaker 21: gonna release was the financial part. Is to say, because

25:09 Speaker 21: as you know, like being an independent artist, you don't

25:12 Speaker 21: really have a backing or support in essence to help

25:15 Speaker 21: you invest into your you know, your projects or anything

25:17 Speaker 21: in that nature. So with this I had to financially

25:21 Speaker 21: put all the money behind back on this project. And

25:24 Speaker 21: now I'm starting to appreciate the feedback and the love

25:27 Speaker 21: and support with this, which has been a long time coming.

25:30 Speaker 21: But it's just amazing to see now it's worth it.

25:32 Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, absolutely, And there's so you said there's ten

25:36 Speaker 14: tracks on the album, correct, Yes, Now, were these all

25:40 Speaker 14: recorded in the same studio or did you kind of

25:43 Speaker 14: mix it up as far as what the process was.

25:48 Speaker 21: For the most part, Yes, it was at one particular studio.

25:53 Speaker 21: They shout out to Eddie. He was an amazing engineer

25:56 Speaker 21: on this project as well. And you know, it was

25:58 Speaker 21: just years in the making and this is something we've

26:01 Speaker 21: been doing this since last year's album and to finally

26:03 Speaker 21: getting completed and put it out there, it was just

26:06 Speaker 21: the journey was amazing. It's also it was small, but it.

26:09 Speaker 10: Was worth it.

26:10 Speaker 6: Yeah.

26:10 Speaker 14: And you learn a lot along the way with something

26:12 Speaker 14: like that, right, you know when when things i mean

26:14 Speaker 14: that's the thing when not not just in music, but

26:16 Speaker 14: in anything in life, when things don't necessarily go as

26:20 Speaker 14: quickly as you'd like or quite as planned, at least

26:22 Speaker 14: you learn you know as you're going what can what

26:26 Speaker 14: can hold you up, and what can what to prepare

26:28 Speaker 14: for and you know in the future and whatnot. So

26:31 Speaker 14: there's always learning involved, which is a good thing a

26:34 Speaker 14: silver lining and then once you come which and then

26:38 Speaker 14: what you come out with is uh is uh worth it?

26:41 Speaker 14: Did did you work with you mentioned a producer. Did

26:44 Speaker 14: you work with the same producer on all the tracks

26:46 Speaker 14: or did that change?

26:48 Speaker 5: Uh?

26:48 Speaker 21: No, No, I've been working for a good money years

26:51 Speaker 21: now and with this album, I think it was like

26:53 Speaker 21: two or three songs. He produced this artis me other

26:58 Speaker 21: producers I've worked with, also a new producers I work.

27:01 Speaker 21: Oh and you know the song is just you get

27:04 Speaker 21: just to hear the album, the sound is totally different,

27:06 Speaker 21: and when you hear the vocals, you see the growth

27:09 Speaker 21: in the vocals is totally like expand and it's just

27:12 Speaker 21: like a whole new Christian sound of Who I Am House.

27:15 Speaker 14: Okay, So it sounds like has your approach changed over

27:18 Speaker 14: the years, because it sounds like this is an evolution

27:20 Speaker 14: for you, which makes sense because that you know, the

27:22 Speaker 14: album is called the Brand New Me as as your

27:25 Speaker 14: approach in terms of singing as that specifically changed over

27:28 Speaker 14: the years, because you were talking about the vocals changing.

27:33 Speaker 21: Yes, yes, definitely, since you know when we're beginning, you know,

27:36 Speaker 21: my other projects are done. I don't just like I

27:39 Speaker 21: don't really discredit that because it's who I am, my journey.

27:42 Speaker 21: But I feel like this album particularly now that's all Now,

27:47 Speaker 21: I think it's really shown, uh, the the amount of growth,

27:52 Speaker 21: as they say, as me as in my artistry and

45:07 Speaker 10: handed on one of my records, and you know, we've

45:11 Speaker 10: just been talking. It's been almost a year we've been talking,

45:18 Speaker 10: do a Christmas song. I didn't have like solid plans

45:24 Speaker 10: to North Conway where I am now. Actually I was

45:27 Speaker 10: coming up to North Conway to my friend Sean and

45:30 Speaker 10: Ryan studio by to push records and we and I

45:36 Speaker 10: do two songs. I was like, I'm going to do

45:38 Speaker 10: a Christmas song too, and the Mighty Bosstones one is

45:44 Speaker 10: my Christmas playlist ever since it came out. It's just

45:48 Speaker 10: like my kids love it. I tried. I just tried

45:53 Speaker 10: it in the studio. I did a scratch track of it,

46:13 Speaker 10: So it was really a collaborative thing. You know, I

46:16 Speaker 10: recorded my part. I sent it to him, like I'd say,

46:21 Speaker 10: like three weekends ago. I recorded my part, sent it

46:24 Speaker 10: to him on the Monday. He had it done by Wednesday,

46:28 Speaker 10: sent it to my buddy Josh to mix it and

46:31 Speaker 10: master it, and it was done by the following Friday.

46:34 Speaker 10: So it really just fell together, piece by piece by

46:37 Speaker 10: piece perfectly.
